BTW, why didn’t anyone pay any attention to or discuss when Obama signed the Equal Pay Act? And in agreement with Yaryar, Fox News has been very pro Republican lately, yet they had no problem using the term. That’s why I found it so funny.

On point number one: fair enough. I can understand that I should have replied to a different poster. My mistake. I will still argue, this is most definitely a public area. If one were to hit reply and the response just went to that person it would no longer be public in which case you’d be correct. Doesn’t matter – point taken – I was wrong – let’s move on…

On point number two: the nature of this post is in fact political. How could I object to a political statement unless I also had a political opinion on the matter myself – I thought that was the point of comments and commentary. The jokes I don’t mind – it’s the politics that I mind – I wouldn’t bother visiting failblog if I couldn’t take a joke .

On the rare occasion that I feel compelled to express my opinion to/on a website, I’d rather do it publicly and not send the website owner’s a complaint – I’m sure the complaint department has better things to do. I get the most valuable from my expression by making my case publicly instead of being ignored by failblog staff.

On point 3 – safety is good – don’t know where else to go with that…

And on point four: it is quite odd to me, and by the reaction to the majority of responses to this post, it appears a lot of other viewers think its odd as well. I may not be as big of an old school patron as yourself, however generally the post don’t involve politics in my roughly 1 year as a viewer…maybe the discussions have, but the original posts haven’t. Furthermore, “FB” didn’t even used to have titles without the word FAIL in them. That changed and now someone is using it as forum for expressing an opinion that seems out of place. Seems very odd to me indeed.

I would also like to thank you for taking the time to respond with more than one word – even if it was in a very cynical high horse way. I love it when remarks start with “You see, JD” – never heard that before so thanks for learning me something.
