I would have put a recipe up at my site, but I’m not allowed to post about food when the over-all topic is disgusting. I learned that the hard way.
Harvest Walnut Cookies (two cake mixes needed)
Vanilla Dough:
1 (18.25-ounce) box white cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg, beaten to blend
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, lightly toasted
Beat cake mix, oil, melted butter, egg, and vanilla in large bowl until dough forms. Stir in walnuts.
Chocolate Dough:
1 (18.25-ounce) box devil’s food cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg, beaten to blend
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, lightly toasted
Beat cake mix, oil, melted butter, egg, and vanilla in large bowl until dough forms. Stir in walnuts.
Oven at 400 (not sure how many inches that is in English)
You scoop a little of each dough and mingle it together but don’t mix, you want it marbled. Make a ball and put it on the cookie sheet. You should be able to make 20 balls on a cookie sheet (AE you can handle that with 34 of your own).
Bake them for 10 minutes (again not sure how many feet that is in English metrics) or until they JUST begin to brown.
Quantity is usually a buttload. My this is the FAVORITE cookie for my son. If I am baking, he asks for these. He made me promise to make them when he comes home for Christmas.
I am soooo going to make those!! Maybe over Thanksgiving, for the car ride!

if you look closely, it’s not completely Elizabeth Lambert’s (UNM #15) fault. BYU player # 7 elbowed her in the chest before Elizabeth retaliated, and you can tell by the wince on her face before the punch even came that she knew she deserved it. then the brunette #21 was grabbing at her shorts/crotch area so she had that coming too.
Not saying I completely agree with how she handled it, but it’s pretty clear that those girls were not innocent victims, they had what was coming and may have intentionally ruined the future of someone for their own entertainment.

University of New Mexico head women’s soccer coach Kit Vela announced today that junior defender Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended indefinitely for her actions in Thursday’s match against BYU in the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference Championship in Provo, Utah.
Effective immediately, Lambert is prohibited from participating in all team practices, competition and conditioning activities.
The officials for that game need to be suspended from any Mountain West Conference games for as long as the NM player is suspended.
Well, thank heaven for that. The girl that was pulled down by the hair so violently could have suffered nerve damage or even paralysis from the neck down. There is no excuse for playing to maim.

Yeah, I see #7 give her a tap in the beginning. And…there is not enough lead, it’s too fast, and a bad angle to see what UNM #15 was doing behind her. Since you made me slow it down, I do like the whole chain of expression on #7s face…had it coming…then a little ‘not really hurt’ incredulity at the blow she took. And yet, when a man is with a woman, she usually has to watch her step or will trip over his tongue that is hanging out.
Sometime this summer I caught one of the salesman at the company I work for ogling my boobs. Just straight staring, like he’d never noticed they were there before. It’s not like they’re small, so they don’t hide or anything. And me being the attention whore that I am, I actually considered wearing something low-cut to work the next day.
Next time that happens, take a deep breath. It’s fun to watch their eyes pop!

In eighteen-fifty something, during a football (soccer) game at Rugby School in England, a boy picked up the ball and ran with it. When the other boys saw what he was doing, they jumped on him and beat the cr@p out of him.
Hence the game of Rugby was invented, because to this day that’s pretty much how you play it—whoever has the ball, you jump on him and beat the cr@p out of him.

Actually what we see here is football. “Soccer” is a derivative of “association football” whereas American football is a derivative of “gridiron football”.
However, the Americans have decided that they’re going to keep the term “football” exclusively for gridiron football, and everyone else can henceforth call association football “soccer” so that it doesn’t get confused with the Americans version of “real” football

I’m easily confused, anyway.
It’s a compilation of the University of New Mexico women’s soccer player who got suspended for her physical play in a game against BYU. She punches, trips, hits, and takes one girl down by her pony tail. The final shot is of a BYU player in her face as the time ends pointing at the scoreboard (BYU 1, UNM 0). Cue random Powered by, and DOT ORG!
Okay, I got the video to go from DailyMotion, couldn’t see who powered it though… basically the whole video clip is a series of brutal plays by the chick in red with number 15 on her jersy.
1st: punching a girl in the middle of the back after a moderately gentle elbow to the stomach.
2nd: throwing a girl to the ground using her braid as a handle.
3rd: going for a “slide tackle” that ended up being a pretty blatant leg swipe=face plant.
4th: sticking her leg out and just plain tripping the girl with the ball.
5th: hard to see, but it almost looks like the tried to cloths-line the girl while making a play on the ball.
Last clip segment is the recipient of the punch, leg sweep and clothsline pointing out that 15′s team just lost and all the brutality was pointless.
One subtle point missed: In the second clip, the BYU girl is doing a little crotch grab on #15.
Nah, just watched again, BYU was grabbing 15′s shorts but wasn’t anywhere close to doing a crotch grab. Might have been able to stay on her feet if she had been.

This is the New Mexico soccer player who beat on some BYU soccer players, particularly #7, as shown all over television a couple of weeks ago.
She (in red) is elbowed in the cleavage by the BYU player (in white), and red retaliates by punching white in the back.
Next, red pulls white down by her ponytail. White lays sprawled on the ground.
Red commits a hard tackle on white by utilized a move called “split the legs” which essentially takes the legs out and takes the player off the ball.
Red hard tackles white from behind, causing white to fall stretched out onto her face right at the top of the box.
Red is in the air, kinda scissor kicks at the ball while concurrently delivering a left, right, left combo to the head of the white player.
Last scene has white pointing at the scoreboard. Since the back of red’s head is here, we cannot see her expression. She presumably did not swing at white in retaliation.
I believe a bench clearing donnybrook ensued.

Quintessentially American from start to finish.
1) In the MSM, they play and replay the hair yank, because it’s visually compelling. And they mostly ignore the much more serious illegal tackle meant to hyperextend and possibly permanently injure the BYU player, because it’s not visually compelling.
2) Even though the BYU player’s provocations are mild and Lambert is obviously grossly overreacting to them, the MSM news clips cut them out entirely. Good Guys are Good and Bad Guys are Bad, with absolutely no middle ground.
3) Speaking of gross overreactions… instead of systematically doing something about the low-to-mid level aggression that leads up to this, they’re “making an example” of the one poor schmuck who got caught. And they’ll keep ignoring it until the next time, then make an example out of that one.
4) If the video had never surfaced, Lambert would have only gotten a slap on the wrist. Her real crime wasn’t trying to badly injure another player. Her real crime was embarrassing the school.

Hmmm, ok watch the video again. 1st time girl elbowed her in the chest and then she elbowed her in the back. I’ll take an elbow to the back anyways. 2nd time girl is grabbing onto her shorts and she reacts to this assault – grabbing ones shorts in such a fast pace game really messes up their balance and can result in injury. 3rd time was almost a clean slide tackle. 4th time clearly a trip outside the box – happens all the time. No, this wasn’t a matter of, “the BYU girl had what was coming to her.” There’s a level of retaliation to be had and she went past that and kept on going for quite a while.

Elizabeth Lambert is a junior at the University of New Mexico, and plays for their soccer team the Lobos originally from California (too bad for California). So, this loser knows they are going in to a game that they will most likely lose and since they do not have the talent to score they resort to this kind of play, it has very minor thought to it than let’s say passisng the ball through your opponents defense and scoring a goal.
The other issue is the where were the referees, were they all older white men with their tongues out, enamored and unable to call the game objectively (this game had so many penalties that did not get called), I mean what are they getting paid to do. Who has paid these guys off? Do we have to change the game where only women referees can call women games. After watching the video someone was paid off, that is my conclusion.
And Lizzy, watch you back and please stay out of soccer (you real should be banned, the game does not need people like you in it), so many will be gunning for you now. Who knows maybe you were just drumming up business for your “Occupational Therapy practice”, yah good luck with that, I doubt your bed side manner is any different from your sportsmanship.

I’ve played soccer before, it is Not a game for wusses. While I don’t condone her actions, it takes me back to the days when stupid bitches would elbow and hold (because we were better) and all I wanted to do was lay them flat.

I just like that the coaches let her get involved in this many scuffles, nevermind the refs. If they were actually responsible, like the coaches suspending her now, they would’ve taken her out right away after the first or second infraction. The news doesn’t show that of course. lucky that’s all they got. it is ridiculous that UNM expelled her anyways. im a student that goes to UNM and this girl doesn’t make me feel shame for going there. what makes me mad is the school actions of her expulsion. They keep a football coach that doesn’t win them any games then gets mad and punches out his assistant but a girl lets her emotions get the best of her in a game and they expel her.

If this had been a “man’s sport”, e.g., football or basketball or even baseball, even, they would have been penalized for personal fouls. Yanking on a ponytail to cause a neck injury is no different than a facemask violation in football. But because they’re *girls* we’re not supposed to be “mean” to them and call foul and kick them out of the game.
The refs need to be suspended. The players kicked out of the game and suspended. The coaches need to be fined.
Coach Urban Meyer was fined $30K for *implying* that the refs are blind. These soccer coaches, if they are teaching and tolerating their players unsportsmanlike behavior need to be fined 10x as much, to get their attention.
