Not exactly a “News Fail”, but amusing nonetheless.
First they don’t let the poor guy go to the toilet when he needs to, then they’re surprised about something like that… and press charges for something completely natural.
Thats what happens when you eat at Taco Bell.

How bad was that fart to get him charged with BATTERY?
That’s what I call s*** hitting the fan…
i was not aware that the word “fart” was commonly used by the news media to refer to flatulence.
I hope the cop was sued for wrongful arrest, harrasement, abuse….etc, or at least i hope buddy got him with his mouth open!
It wasn’t because he farted… it was because he FANNED it at the cop. Attempting to create a breeze in the cop’s general direction (Monty Python?) is clearly assault. Because of releasing information on this little-known vigilante act, the news source has enabled terrorists around the world to add this dangerous, life-threatening move to their arsenal.
Do they really need the mans picture up there too? Thats punishment enough if he is guilty.
fail 1: He was arrested drunk driving
fail 2: He was not allowed to use a toilet.
fail 3: He farted and fanned it an officer like a moron
fail 4: He was charged with assault and battery for fanning his farts.
fail 5: ALL charges (including the drunk driving) were dropped because he was not allowed to use the toilet…
This is one epic series of fail.
