I live in Chapel Hill and saw these signs everywhere, too, including where I work, considering my boss STOLE one of them because they were so fantastic.

We still haven’t figured out who put them up, or if it’s a serious campaign sign or someone trying to be silly.

I think it’s a win.

these signs are posted in the town where i grew up, Chapel Hizzle. I saw them all over last weekend and tried to take a picture but failed. that’s a pretty busy intersection and they are meant to face the cars turning left at the corner.

Double fail. The signs are on the wrong side of the road. Note the Do Not Enter sign, position of the divided road beyond. Signs are facing away from the cars passing closest.

This actually makes sense some of the ways they write the proposal, at least in MI. They’ll write it so that to vote YES actually says no to the topic (same-sex marriage, for instance) to confuse voters into approving something they never would have otherwise.
