It is a PICTURE of braille instead of actual braille
if what some said is true and it actually says men instead of women then its double fail.

It’s flat AND how would a blind person know where to rub their hands at to find the Men/Women etching, if it was braille readable? If they had someone with them to point out where the sign was at, they could just tell or lead them to the correct restroom.

Hey brainiac! Braille needs to be raised so blind people can “feel” the letters. This is obviously a smooth surface and therefore no good to a blind person.

I had a customer who happened to be blind come and ask for a computer monitor. I then asked him how much he wanted to spend. “The cheapest one you have”, his reply. I sold him one.

The next day he comes in the shop complaining it did not work. I plugged it to a cpu and it worked fine.

I had to assume either he did not connect it right or his graphics card was not working.

Hey everyone!
That is my finger! I took the picture. No, you cannot get a “pedicure” on your fingers…it’s called a “manicure”.

As for the fail…THE BRAILLE WAS TOTALLY FLAT! For those who are not in the know, braille is for blind people. Blind people, as they CANNOT SEE, read a language of three dimensional bumps. The sign was A FLAT IMAGE OF THESE BUMPS.

I put my finger up against the sign in an attempt to show how flat the braille was against my finger…and, no, there was no discernible difference in the braille texture and sign texture. THIS SIGN WAS A COMPLETE FAIL in handicap accessibility.

LOL I didn’t get the fail until I read the comments, it’s but I have to say I was a bit surprised by how so many other, didn’t get what the fail was either, yet it so obvious (thanx Capitan!). Appears that the Braille is just there for show:( Well, it goes to show how society tends to overlook people with special needs. I guess this is a teachable moment for all of us, OPEN YOUR EYES TO PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS!!

From what I looked up, the braille doesn’t seem to be spelled wrong, are there different writing systems? Also, doesn’t the laser etched portions have a rough feel? If so, are you absolutely sure it is unreadable?
