*gets bored of +5 magic greatsword and goes to sleep*
Clearly a lack of seeing mini malls. The sign out front says what it sells, the sign above the store has the name of the store. DONUTS on the sign = Johnny Nguyen’s Donut Delights on the sign above the store.
It’s real. I live in Farmersville. It’s been there for about 10 years, but the daycare closed down a few years back. They haven’t changed the sign because the space has never been rented out. On the corner of Hwy 380 and Hwy 78 near Lake Lavon. 1 hour northeast of Dallas
I’ve driven past this for about a year and a half in between my home and college. It actually says “Archery” where the Day School part is…when I saw the picture here I actually thought it was shopped because I recognized the place but didn’t know it used to be a school. I’ve always wanted to take a picture of it though because donuts, guns, and archery are a great combination anyway.
Clearly photoshopped. That’s the thing that really sucks about this website. For every good Fail pic, there’s about 10 stupid and obviously photoshopped images.

Well, I’m thinking it’s a sign similar to when a shopping center has several businesses listed on one sign. So there just happens to be a donut shop, a gun store, and a day care in the same spot. Am I making sense? LoL
Not shopped. I live in Farmesville. That sign has been there for about 10 years. The daycare has been closed for a while, but no one has changed the sign. We used to get a kick out of it when we were kids. on teh corner of Hwy 380 and Hwy 78
actually i live about 15 minutes away from this place, and no its not photoshopped, to people around the comments who are like who names a donut shop “donut” seriously over half of the donut shops in dallas are named donut, and come on its texas, of course we just name gun shops “guns” its all REALLY common

3.1 miles away. Gun store is even further. Try Streetview to see that the photo above is nothing like the terrain and flora of Texas.
Not photoshopped. I used to drive by it frequently leaving work in Greenville, TX. It is true that this is an older picture though. I believe the day school closed down several years ago Averey P. beat me to the post. I’ve been hanging on to three pictures of this sign myself since 2003. Here is the Streetview of the shopping center (you can see that the bottom section is for a new business rather than the dayschool): http://is.gd/4zJyH
Nothing like the terrain and flora of Texas? Wow, I’m glad you can learn that from your Google “research” (and probably too many Westerns).
1. You can’t even see the terrain in the picture. It’s a parking lot.
2. While I’m glad you know what the world “flora” means, you obviously know nothing about the actual subject. The cactus is not the only plant in Texas, contrary to popular belief. We have a very wide range of “terrain and flora,” from big oak trees (like the picture, in the northeast), to desert areas (west), and even palm trees (Houston, Galveston, small islands).
It’s ridiculous to say that the photo is nothing like Texas based on your obviously VERY limited knowledge and the 2 trees in the photo. Although I’m very curious to know what your idea of Texas’ terrain is…
I live about an hour from where this picture was taken (and I’ve actually seen this sign, although now it says “Donuts, Guns, Archery” and they’re all in the same shopping center). My front yard is all oak and maple trees (they look a lot like the trees in the picture), and my back yard is basically a forest of those and also some pine/evergreens.
Sorry, but I’ve driven past this on my way from McKinney to Greenville, so yes, it’s real.
Like the other poster, I’m wondering what you consider “terrain and flora of Texas”? Check the link below, look at the Streetview, then go to the Aerial view and back up till you see Dallas.
Out of curiousity, I clicked on your name, and what seems like a ‘normal day’ to you is standing in your bathroom taking pictures of yourself. i find that odd, Jennifer. I really do.
It’s real, not shopped – I pass it everyday on the way to work. It’s at the corner of 380 & 78 in Farmersville, a couple of miles from Lake Lavon. It’s very typical terrain/flora for northeast Texas – one of the many small towns that frame the suburbs of Dallas.
Actually, I was able to find the street view. You need to look up “J Leslie’s Guns, 1055 Audie Murphy Dr W, Farmersville, TX‎”. That’s the gun shop that’s by hwy 380 and hwy 78.
You need to play around with the point of view before you see the sign, and even when you do, it’s hard to read it. From what I can tell the first 2 lines are Donuts and Guns, but I’m not sure the third line says “day care”.
The third line says “Archery” and it’s definitely the same sign, as you can recognize the building in the background. So yeah… totally photshopped.
The business listed on the map is North Texas Archery and Outfitting.
I guess the donuts would fall under the “outfitting” part. o_O

YES! I got the streetview to work. I am accustomed to Google Earth where you see the little icons displayed in a row on the street…anyway, yes, I saw the sign, and yes, the third line says “archery”.
But as was pointed out earlier, the school has been closed for awhile, so probably the archery store took its place in the mini-mall.
“Mini-mall”…unfortunately I just got the “Flea Market Montgomery” rap stuck in my head again.

Probably the safest place in the county for your kids – the cops stop to buy ammo and accessories, and stick around for donuts, until they answer a call.
And, one can NEVER trust Google maps and streetview to give correct information. I kept putting in information like Sean used to try to track down the spot, to track down my brother’s doctor’s office to get map directions. I found a doctor’s office, but it WASN’T his (Was miles away, in fact). And, none of the businesses in the picture were listed in Google maps as even existing (you have to pay for most business listings).
The next week, that doctor had him go to a place to get an MRI. I even had a street address for that one. Google Maps put the business, 1000 feet from the county hospital, in a neighboring county, TEN miles away from its real location, and put it on a “street” (I use the term loosely) of 6 trailers and a farmhouse surrounded by a couple thousand acres of farmland… I vowed never to use that service for directions again.
P.S. That looks like the sign post assembly normally used for Shell gas stations, repurposed to another use. The three signs shown would be where the movable letters would normally mount (looks like the backlit 6-inch letter rack has been removed for the other signs), and the gas price and brand identifier would be about 4-8 feet above the lower signs.
Hello all. Sorry I wasn’t here earlier. My car broke down because someone shot out my tires and they were eating a doughnut and coming out of a day school.

This photo is out of date but this sign was once VERY real (NOT photoshopped)! This exact photo was even used years ago as an album cover to a local band in North Texas
I took these pictures TODAY of the sign and the shopping center. The school is long gone (I’ve driven past the place for almost 2 years and I never saw the day school sign, it was always archery), and this is what it looks like now.
The donut shop is called Daylight Donuts, and the archery place is North Texas Archery. The gun store just says “Guns: Ammunition-Supplies, Buy-Sell-Trade.”
If you havent read the numerous comments stating that it is real, then i dont know what else people have to say to convince you. Also, you may have lived in farmersville for 2 years, i on the other hand lived there for 12. and yes it did truly say day care. its been a couple of years since the day school shut down. (im surprised it took that long. heheheh) my dad actually commented once how he wanted to submit the sign to jay leno or one of those talk show hosts. i cant remember which one. haha
Did I ever say I didn’t think it was real? Answer: NO. I was just offering some pictures of what it is now, since the Google streetview pictures other people have found aren’t very good and I thought I’d give some context. If you actually READ my comment, I said that the school is long gone (acknowledging that it once was there, which I learned from the comments here). I was just saying that I never saw the day care sign because it’s been archery ever since I’ve been driving past (I also never said I lived in Farmersville. I don’t; I drive through the town in between home and college). I actually commented somewhere else above this that when I first saw the picture on here, I thought it was shopped because I recognized the sign and building but I had never seen the day school part.
*believes Hannah*
must have gotten wrong playe ond Stroogle Geet, buiding looked very similar. i didnt find anything at Hwy 78 / Hwy 380 which is where i was told it is
Actually, this sign appears on the back cover of the album “Dork Rock Cork Rod” (speaking of palindromes, oddly enough) by New Jersey punk rock band The Ergs! It’s a totally different photo, with the band standing in front of the sign. Legit!
A photo of the same sign from a different angle was also used as the front cover of the “Pure Health” album by Early Lines (Plano, TX). The back cover was one of them eating a donut, another holding a gun, and another holding a baby.
This is in Farmersville, TX but I’m pretty sure the day school had moved out last time I was driving on 380. I think its Donuts Guns and Archery or something now.
For those doubting the realism… I used to live right down the street from this sign. It most assuredly is real. I don’t remember if it still says that, but yeah, it used to say something about Archery. There really is a daycare though, and the gun shop is on the other side of the “shopping center”. The donut shop is right next door to the daycare.
The gunshop isnt there, just there archery shop, and there is a donut shop there, its just really ghetto. lol best donuts is down the road. used to live there. ive gone back frequently.
Sounds like a Cool Dayschool
Reminds me of the Daycare I went to…
You were lucky! My daycare only gave us donut holes and pistols.
Well of course, we had it tough. We had to make do with pretend donut holes and slingshots.
SLINGSHOTS??? You were lucky! We had to make do with the crumbs overlooked by the rats and we lobbed stones at each other with our hands.
I went to the Hansel and Grettle Daycare. Man, that teacher was a witch!
Bread crumbs? In my day we had to eat the rocks and just hurl insults at each other. Witch made things pretty hot for us.

Yeah, the “nameless” dayschool. I am calling photoshopped. Not to mention the nameless “GUN” store and the nameless “DONUT” store.
dollars to guns and donuts says you are right.
Names is for tombstones, baby! Y’all take this honkey out and WASTE HIM! NOW!

Actually, the mini-mall was in Farmersville, TX along US Hwy 380 on the south side of the road, just east of the intersection with State Highway 78.
You’d think so, but I’ve seen this sign before. It’s on highway 69 in east Texas near Emory.
This must be for the police academy.

It’s actually real, it’s in Farmersville TX.
How cleaver does one need to be to write a sentence that has all of the words in it required to make sense?
You can either be cleaver or accidently.
Well, I’m thinking it’s a sign similar to when a shopping center has several businesses listed on one sign. So there just happens to be a donut shop, a gun store, and a day care in the same spot. Am I making sense? LoL

I asked Google, and it said:
Did you mean: Sandra Bernhard?
So…did you mean Sandra Bernhard? Never heard of Sondra Bernhardt, but I live a sheltered life.
(snaps his riding crop smartly against the side of his boots)
I prefer my strip mall shops to have single-word names. Then I can go to “Donuts” and have “Glazed.”
That ain’t no fail…
That’s a paradise for cops
agreed cop win build the no station next to it
Probably the safest place in the county for your kids – the cops stop to buy ammo and accessories, and stick around for donuts, until they answer a call.
As a matter of fact there was a gas station there a very long time ago
Google Maps has no street cred.
I haven’t come across any on-line maps worth the electricity.
I suspect they’re all photoshopped
Someday when I get married, I can be like, “Don’t worry honey, I’ll drop the kids off, pick up the donuts, and shoot some guns for you today.”
Hey, this might be real and not photoshopped. Problem is, so far I can’t tell from the view I see from Google Maps streetview:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Farmersville%20Texas%20380%20%26%2078&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wl
It definitely says “Donuts” and “Guns”, but I have trouble reading the third sign down. Anyone else see it?
So much for my Saturday pop-in. Back to bejeweled.
:cries:
You guys are the only bright lights here…but don’t worry, I’ll pop back in later, too.

the donuts are for luring all the security guards away.
*eagerly waits to feast upon their brains*

Hello all. Sorry I wasn’t here earlier. My car broke down because someone shot out my tires and they were eating a doughnut and coming out of a day school.
You just missed me
Donuts, Guns and Daycare. The perfect one stop shop for all a policeman’s needs.
F*CK YOU!
*holds down E/STD (STD) and gives a cold glass of water*
Does the STD have anything to do with the ZTN?
This is faker than Pamela Anderson’s boobs.
it’s real. I grew up in Farmersville. It’s been there for years. It’s at the intersection of Hwy 380 and Hwy 78.
It’s real
I grew up in Farmersville. That sign has been there since I was a kid. We always got a kick out of it.
So proud of my hometown!
Funny enough this is actually in my home time….I’ve lived there for over ten years and still go often and never even paid attention to this!
of course I meant home town!
lol
Time does have a way of sneaking up on you.
Made in the USA.
Sold in Iraq
Ahhh! What the heck happened to my avatar in the recent comments section?
looks like a police school
…In Iraq
how do you think they get the holes in the donuts?
What would the guns be for?
222 Fails in communication
Very small potatoes. There have been several over a thousand. Most are a few hundred.
That reminds me of this idiot who posted first when actualy #529.
Guns, donuts.. will the bullets kill them before obesity does?
Next on ztn: tha Zombie troll cliff.
How many ways to die?
Awesome, all they need is liquor and I’m moving there.
Maybe a few democrat targets to shoot at too.
What more could you need?

My want my kid going there!
7-11
You can get free games and stuff at freethings4u.tk
This photo is out of date but this sign was once VERY real (NOT photoshopped)! This exact photo was even used years ago as an album cover to a local band in North Texas
This picture is FAKE. The letters are totally Photoshopped and the phone number isn’t even real, call it.
Checked Stroogle Geet View and found the building. but no sign.
*wants Farmesville residents to explain*
I took these pictures TODAY of the sign and the shopping center. The school is long gone (I’ve driven past the place for almost 2 years and I never saw the day school sign, it was always archery), and this is what it looks like now.
the sign:

the shopping center (with captions of what each place is):
http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/2981/img6256captions.jpg
other side of the center (donut shop and archery place, both closed at the time):

sign across the street (location):

The donut shop is called Daylight Donuts, and the archery place is North Texas Archery. The gun store just says “Guns: Ammunition-Supplies, Buy-Sell-Trade.”
If you havent read the numerous comments stating that it is real, then i dont know what else people have to say to convince you. Also, you may have lived in farmersville for 2 years, i on the other hand lived there for 12. and yes it did truly say day care. its been a couple of years since the day school shut down. (im surprised it took that long. heheheh) my dad actually commented once how he wanted to submit the sign to jay leno or one of those talk show hosts. i cant remember which one. haha
hi philip!
THANK you!
CORRECTION!!
1st two = win
Last one = epic fail
win+Epic Fail=Fail
My goodness! It’s a school run by Vash the Stampede!
(For those of you into old anime).
Wow thats an odd variety
can SUMONE PLZ XPLANE…i dont get it. COZ i aint GETTIN it.
P.S- im leting U know that im writing all my misspelt words in uper-case because i feel LYKE writing them like DIS.
Nice combo. XD
I think its obscene to expect me to come into proximity with other people’s children while shopping for guns and doughnuts.
*believes Hannah*
must have gotten wrong playe ond Stroogle Geet, buiding looked very similar. i didnt find anything at Hwy 78 / Hwy 380 which is where i was told it is
Wow. An obviously photoshopped thinly veiled attempt to make guns look bad. Because I am sure the gunshop would sell guns to preschoolers.
I live in this town…and yes….that really is there….Farmersville, TX right off of Hwy. 380
I think this is one of the first “Fail” Fails I’ve seen in a while.
Personally I have no problem dropping off the kids while I pick up some more ammo and grab a coffee and snack. How convenient!
The back cover was one of them eating a donut, another holding a gun, and another holding a baby.
obviously a training academy for junior police officers
Ah, Texas. Gotta love it.
shopped!
Again, how is this a fail? This is full of win.
LOL, Farmersville Tx. I think they recently took down that sign.
in order of importance
Don’t see the fail. It seems convenient really
CHIEF WIGGUM’S SEAL OF APPROVAL.
The donut shop is right next door to the daycare.
lol
So glad somebody posted this!
Sounds like the greatest school in the world… Should be mini-mall win!
“Police describe the suspect in the shooting as four years old and fat.”
The gunshop isnt there, just there archery shop, and there is a donut shop there, its just really ghetto. lol best donuts is down the road. used to live there. ive gone back frequently.
