I’m sure that a lot of fun can be had with internet slang, but not here. Compare it to a dress code: it would not be socially accepetable to attend a gala diner in shorts and Hawai shirt. You may have fun for a short while and some people would not take offence, but in the end you’d become an outcast. Consider this friendly advice. He’s had quite a life. Nobel worthy? I don’t know. I mean, anyone can nominate you practically. Even Rush Limbaugh got nominated for the thing.
But the reason he was nominated was his outreach to foreign leaders in his campaign, and the promises he made. IIRC, a reason from it was that he “made it OK to hope again.” He basically got the award because he wasn’t Bush.
In his credit though, when he gave his speech, he had that “Why the hell am I getting this?” look.

Faked or not, it’s pretty easy to get a graph like that.
No = 49.7%
Yes = 50.3%
Plot the x-axis between 49.6% and 50.4%, then truncate all numbers on the graph to zero decimal places. I can easily see some automatic graph generator choosing parameters like that.

You’ve all got it wrong… It was clearly YES with extremely high values of 50% and NO with extremely low values of 50%. If it had been, say, 49.9% and 50.1% it may have rounded and then only displayed 50% for all the values, while it zoomed in on the difference to show detail. It would have been nice to show details though, people don’t like rounded numbers where I come from.

It’s how JPEG works. It divides the image into 8×8 tiles, puts them through a DCT, quantizes the result then … well, never mind. Point is the number have that distortion around them in an 8×8 grid pattern, JPEG quantization error.
I’d say you failed, except I think I fail for knowing _exactly_ how JPEG compression works.
When saving a file in the JPG format, one of the most common formats, the pixels are not exact; the computer saves the pixels in groups and enlarges them, causing a JPG blur effect.
