Raccoons are not rodents, in fact they are closer to dogs and cats than any type of rodent and they are not aquatic at all. They are also native only to North America and I don’t think they have become an invasive species anywhere else, and are a major source of small game meat for people in the US who hunt for food. So in essence, what you wrote was completely irrelevant.
