terrible website- why would anyone want to read this stuff. most of the posts are so insignificant and devoid of anything actually clever that it just reads like a really boring diary of ‘things that are kind of good’. “I ate a sandwich- IMMD” “I got all green lights on the way to work IMMD” Argh. and the IMMD tag at the end of each post is so irritating. I hope this was posted up as an example of website FAIL

So, you all like just the fails? Fine, that’s your opinion. But I happen to like IMMD. Gives me a chance to tell the world that even though bad things *usually* happen to me, good things can happen too. I never look at epicute, and I think askaurinal is the most pointless link to the site. But that doesn’t mean I go around in every one of the threads yelling “FAIL!” because I don’t like it. It’s like a tv show. If you don’t like it, watch something else.
Which is exactly what I’ll do seeing as I never intend to visit the website again. I’m glad you enjoy the website, but we’re giving our feedback the same as you are. That way the people running this website can actually ascertain what appeals to the majority of people who visit it- it may be the majority like it, or that they dislike it. Honestly, I don’t support the concept of “It Made My Day.” It just feeds into the newbies and trolls who comment on fails saying “This looks like more of a win to me.” With the creation of IMMD we will just have to put up with more of these types of remarks on Failblog.
So basically it’s FML but opposite? What’s the point? (well apart from trying to make IMMD bigger than FML with failblog notoriety and feel like you own the concept…)
The cheeseburger fad is getting really old. They’re making so many lame spin offs (there are at least 8-10+ sites in cheezburgerland now) almost all of which suck. The only good ones that exist are just marketing machines for their books now. Way to ruin a good website, marketers.
