yes i tried it too but it is too difficult to align the lens with the binocular, but if you try a little bit after some fail shots, it works

Depends. 200-400mm F4 VR will set you back 4779.99 GBP, but getting a 200, 300 and 400 prime set will set you back far more (the only prime in that list that exists at F4 in the Nikon range is the 988.99 GBP 300mm F4, which has no VR).

Zooms can often outclass primes, take the 14-24, which sells for 1283.99 GBP. It outclasses the 14mm, 20mm, and 24mm prime lenses, which together would set you back 1937.97 GBP, and the former gives you the convenience of not requiring lens changes.

The real pros most likely use prime telephoto lenses. Zoom lenses are usually either lower-quality or more expensive.

I do this all the time when I don’t have my SLR with me. Point-and-shoot digitals have terrible lenses on them, and if you zoom even a little bit you’ll lose quality. Binoculars solve the problem.

Do this all the time. Call digiscoping. Usually use a real spotting scope, but binocular work well.. The looser that put this up is just jealous!

All the loosers knocking digi-scoping, figure this. I spent $5000 on my camera & lens. This method gets me closer and cost under $1000. Go figure.
