  1. Arthur Eld says:

    Accurate.

  2. MRN ♂ says:

    Dorian Grey’s daughter?

  3. *fends grumpy child off with stick*

  4. Arthur Eld says:

If she doesn’t like the drawing she’ll eat him! Notice the expression in her eyes…

  5. Arthur Eld says:

    Arthur doesn’t give a shit.

  6. meh says:

Why is this a fail, the guy done a good job? Yeah its funny but is every funny picture a fail now.

Should I just put lolcats pics up and write CAT FAIL.

    • Arthur Eld says:

      Don’t you like questionmarks.

    • Child does not look happy anyway…….disaster in 1 2 3

      why do I bother

*goes to buy cottage in the country*

    • TJ says:

      You people are cold hearted.

It’s a fail because she’s a little girl and he’s actually making her look even more hideous than she really is in the portrait.

      • Wizard says:

        I don’t think that’s possible.

        • Naoyusimi says:

That’s kinda what caricatures DO, take one’s features and exaggerate them . . . to a humorous effect. They’re never highly *flattering*.

The only thing about them that alleviates actual *ugliness* is the subject is *usually* smiling. HERE, the artist couldn’t reproduce that . . . I simply don’t know WHY.

      • cest says:

        This is a double fail.

Parenting fail for allowing such a young child to become so overweight, and for having her caricature drawn, the point of which is to exaggerate already prominent features (like her round face). That child’s unhappiness is palpable.

IMO, it’s a caricature fail because the sketch doesn’t contain enough likeness to the original to make it recognizable as that individual. It doesn’t even look like a child (granted, they’re more difficult subjects for this genre).

        • shonuff says:

the sketch looks exactly like the kid, well, a little rounder, but that’s the point of a caricature.

          • eyrieowl says:

the sketch looks like the child if she were a 30 year old woman. the sketch doesn’t capture the “child” part of her look, although she is instantly recognizable as such. it captures her general shape, but fails to actually capture her. if you saw the drawing alone, i highly doubt you’d say “hey, that’s a kid!” that said, i’ve rarely seen caricature artists who do manage to really “get” a person.

            • Naoyusimi says:

It doesn’t look like a child because children are generally recognizable as such because of small features on a larger (relative to their size) head, with larger eyes than is typical for adults.

In this child, her eyes look small as well, in part because of her weight.

In this caricature, he’s exaggerated the nose (as these artists often do), which makes the portrait look more “adult”.

              That’s my take, anyway.

          • arimareiji says:

            THANK YOU. (^_^)

            1. To shonuff for openly saying what no one else had.
            2. To cest for picking up on why this is a parent fail rather than a portrait fail. (I disagree somewhat with the last paragraph, but I think you made some really good points.)

          • Moggetlova says:

…I dont see how this is a Portrait Fail…..i’d say it was a Portrait Win..It Looks Exactly Like Her!!!

      • d says:

No he’s not. She’s hideous looking, extremely obese and sour-looking, and he’s portraying that. Tell me, do you think it would be helpful to the child to lie to her about her condition?

  7. cathryn says:

actually that’s a caricature. a totally win caricature, btw. that girl is frightening.

this is what i do to pay rent. i would know.

    • headless says:

You think this is a good caricature? And you pay your rent on the back of doing the same? Where d’you live? A skip?!

    • fluffy says:

It’s a horrendous caricature. It will scar the little girl for life. He made her look like a 40 year old witch, when in fact she’s an 8 year old witch. When making street caricature you need to make people more beautiful or they won’t pay you.

    • fuzzy says:

haha it’s a caricature alright, but not a very good one likeness-wise. good drawing only technically.

btw I used to do this too…trying to see if I recognize the artist, but all back of head is very open to who this could be…any ideas? =P

also for other posters: for how crazy shitty this job can be sometimes, it’s pretty good pay if you live modestly, so it’s completely feasible to do this to pay rent.

    • arimareiji says:

Bravo; thank you for saying this.

(My bad for giving someone else credit for making this point first.)

  8. Danilo Lion says:

    hmmm….hey, where’s the fail ?! …. it’s almost perfect !!!

  9. Sloth Of Doom ♂ says:

Probably the least failing fail I have ever seen here. All of the REAL fails waiting in the buffer and we get…..a caricature.

  10. Rat says:

Cathryn’s right, this is a caricature, not a portrait. And its a good one.

He’s captured her likeness very well, and added a fair amount of exaggeration.

The only fail here is how creepy that little girl is. Child Fail.

For any who are wondering what a caricature is, try googling Joe Bluhm or look up Tom Richmond from Mad Magazine.

    • Zipperkitteh says:

Yeah. And I bet it would look a thousand times better if the little girl was actually smiling, the only reason she’s creepy looking is because she’s pouting and glaring like that.

  11. Elsa_Mama says:

The top of the easel looks like a dagger stuck in the top of her head …. (yea, I just woke up….)

  12. john says:

rule #1, if you are a little overweight don’t get a caricature!

  13. Kalashnikov says:

OMG SHE WILL EAT HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHH!

  14. Cyberbelum says:

Is this a little girl or a midget?

    Dang she is freaky looking…

Must be her genetics and not the fact that she stuffs her face full of junk food that causes her to be this fat.

  15. Ghosty says:

    Face Fail
the portrait is a caricature lol

  16. Stephen Ogley says:

I hope the child’s parents gave permission for this pic to be displayed for the whole world to see and ridicule.

  17. Hina Kagiyama Ichigo says:

Parenting fail more than anything else really.

  18. marc says:

    caricature fail.
    portrait win!

  19. rachel says:

Haha, that’s not a fail, that’s an accurate picture of a fat annoyed little girl. I’d say honesty win.

  20. ChrisDG74 says:

Looks like a perfect portrait. Too bad the girl is butt-fugly.

    • arimareiji says:

I don’t think you’re being fair here… it’s definitely not my cup of tea, but butt-f isn’t THAT ugly.

  21. ShadowTheSniper says:

So far I can’t think of any other posts of my own right now. :(

  22. If only I were 15 years younger…I’d be blissfully unaware what was wrong with this. :P

  23. Skratdaddy says:

    Sally Struthers

  24. pinstar says:

    Portrait win
    Childhood obesity fail

  25. zach says:

Ugh, so bored at work. *headdesk*

  26. OBEY says:

It’s obviously a caricature. This is not a fail, nor is it a win. This is exactly what a caricature is supposed to be!

  27. carycare says:

    Portrait win.
    Kid’s diet fail…

  28. Jack says:

    Child FAIL
    Artist WIN

  29. Minbad says:

The man is drawing so slow she’s aging during the process

  30. zach says:

It’s no fun without the regulars…

  31. Vincent says:

Its a caricature you morons. Its a dead on win.

  32. Slowgun says:

    E A T
    A T E
    T E A

Can anyone make a better/bigger one?

  33. Birdman says:

I dont see anything wrong with the picture. Its a cartoon pic and it looks like it should. How did it fail??

  34. Worst says:

I get it! the picture looks better :D

  35. Trip-Wired says:

The fact is simple…This kid is fat and it’s no ones fault but hers.
So you people who say crap like, “oh stop she can’t help it,”
you need to realize that it is her fault she didn’t want to put down the god damn fork…
    Ugly fat child.
    It is what it is.

  36. Trip-Wired says:

It’s a fail because the child is ugly, which makes the drawing ugly.
    That is why it fails.

  37. KsbjA says:

Maybe that’s not a casual street artist, but a street caricaturist. ;-) That’s actually a quite nice and artistic caricature.

  38. Rogahar says:

Hey guise, know what this is?

    It’s a Caricature.

They’re ALWAYS slightly insulting, that’s half the charm. I’m pretty sure I don’t have toothpick-thin foot long neck and a bum-chin the size of my BALLS, but I did in the caricature!

  39. Rrrrr says:

It’s not accurate, it’s cruel. She’s got a tiny little nose and mouth, and widely spaced eyes. A decent caricature would exaggerate those features, but instead the artist has given her a huge wide nose and an enormous mouth, and eyes jammed close together. And, to add insult to injury, he’s given her a mullet.

Yes, she’s overweight, but she’s not hideous, and even if she were she’s a child and wouldn’t deserve a picture that’s likely to really hurt her.

    • fluffy says:

      *clap clap clap* Well said!

    • fuzzy says:

yeah, it’s technically well-executed but badly interpreted. she’s kinda cute albeit chubby and angry, I would have loved drawing a caricature of this kid.

      • KsbjA says:

I second that, the kid is angry, not ugly. And yes it’s a caricature, even if not a very good one. High five!

    • nobuddy says:

It reminds me of most caricaturists I see at places like fairs and on the street. They just follow a formula – pick a random feature and make it randomly different. Make a nose big or little, make chin fat or pointy, make face long and skinny or perfectly round. “Wait,” you say, “that’s what a caricature IS!” But no, I mean they chose to exaggerate it in a way not actually based on your face. Like giving this kid a giant nose when her nose is in no way larger than normal.

It’s just the sign of a hack who’s either incapable or unwilling to do anything other than phone it in.

    • Caitlin says:

I agree with Rrrrr! And all people have feelings and what if she is reading all of these mean comments that remind me of 2nd grade from the mean obnoxious kids calling me fat and ugly , if she does read the comments i hope some people say sorry! wow, I sound like my mom LOL! still why are so many people calling her fat, she is NOT fat, she is just curvy and sad/grumpy at the time look at the drawing the guy is doing I’d be mad at him to. ALL kids have baby fat look at a pic of yourself when you were 4 or 5 or 6.

    • Maggie says:

      Yes, very well said.

  40. citph says:

    Artist Win!

  41. SilentWhiteTiger says:

    lol a beast

  42. lala land says:

cheeks need to be drawn in even wider :)

  43. Uhhh says:

Parent Fail. Diet and Exercise Fail. Who the hell lets their kids eat cheezy poofs in front of the TV until they are that fat? Yeah, she’ll be traumatized, but she’s already doomed.

  44. bump says:

Isn’t it just ment to be like this? ~duhh…

  45. Ithappens says:

Guys the fail isnt the girl its the shoe in the corner that looks like he is stepping on the artist. I really hope it was one of the parents that sent this fail in, rofl your parents dont love you because you are fat.

    • arimareiji says:

Neh, I think it’s the poofy-haired whale in the black mumu who’s watching over the artist’s shoulder.

“Smile, honey, we’re going to get this framed so you can remember this moment forever!”

  46. aubrey says:

    i’d call that a win.

  47. Janet says:

    Not really a fail… I’d say it’s pretty accurate.

  48. Greggae says:

Portrait win. Little spoiled fat face fail.

  49. Tym says:

I don’t get the fail? Cuz he made her face fatter?

  50. Hammockguy says:

    it’s just a caricature

  51. MRDR says:

He captured her expression quite well.

  52. Moop says:

how is it a fail? its a caricature, its supposed to exaggerated like that xD

  53. Rohvannyn says:

His lines are off too, which isn’t helping matters. He needs a little more in the hair and the lower line of the face is out of proportion, as is the nose. He’s probably making mistakes because he’s unnerved by her evil, evil stare.

  54. SirHobo says:

    This isn’t funny. That’s a caricature, not a portrait.

  55. Bryonia says:

Y’all sure are being mean-minded in regards to a small child. You Fail.

  56. Ignoramous says:

    This is a portrait WIN.

  57. Tom says:

Mhm, the face ist too small… Make it more fat!

  58. musthavehad2muchweedyesterday says:

wtf, ithis indeed is a portrait win.
    but also a face fail

  59. stix213 says:

What, is he supposed to draw her skinnier?

    • boinkers says:

He couldn’t draw her any fatter, not without getting some bigger paper.

    • Viking says:

Caricatures are supposed to “exaggerate” features, so I would assume that yes, making a fat child look skinny directly in-line with his profession… but, that’s what I understood as a caricature artist, and I may have been doing that wrong too.

  60. marvster says:

    definitely WIN!

  61. jared says:

That doesn’t look like a fail at all. She’s a flat slob and should be punished by utter humiliation in portraits.

  62. Strydi says:

    THAT IS A WIN!

    Spot on, spot on.

  63. munchybot says:

How is that a fail? That is an epic win!

  64. ur mom says:

this is gonna be an expensive therapy bill one day.

  65. cacaguy says:

    THAT’S A WIN LOL

  66. Carlie says:

Ah, childhood obeisity. “Hey honey, let’s spend your formative years cramming debbie cakes into your mouth, take you to a county fair, have a charicature artist do a hilarious rendering, then take pictures of it! Smile for the nice man, sweetie!” I’d say, if anything, Parenting Fail.

  67. DRoy says:

    Hahaha gotta love childhood obesity

  68. Maggie says:

This poor little baby. She looks like my daughter when she was on prednisone for a year — the same fat cheeks and miserable unhappiness. I had the sweetest, happiest little three-year-old girl and she was instantly miserable and very quickly became very fat. Shame on all of you who jump to conclusions and say this little girl is fat, has a bad personality, or ate too much. She could very well have an autoimmune disease and be miserable on medication. You are very uncharitable and clearly don’t have much experience of the world.

  69. Monique says:

    this isnt a fail lol

  70. nananananananananananaaaana says:

tbh, the caricature is pretty bad because one of the reasons i found her funny was cause she had a really squished down nose, but the portrait makes her nostrils more prominant, but you can’t even see her nostrils in real life :O shocking i know
it was still a lol for me when i saw it :L

  71. This is clearly a WIN.

  72. Shmichael says:

This is not a fail. This is a win.

  73. Sampdel says:

I think since the picture is fine that they meant she is a fail

  74. Travis says:

it’s not HIS fault that her parents are raising a blob… and to this Maggie lady up above me… WE don’t have experience with the world??? How many obese Americans do you think have autoimmune system failures!? Your daughter was a rarity you imbecile

  75. K dog says:

I agree with shmichael, it’s an artist WIN!

  76. Jamila says:

    warped perception fail.

  77. pho says:

its like a psychic future portrait! she’s gonna grow up lookin even more crabbier/plumper

  78. Ken says:

this is def a portrait win.

  79. Anna says:

I think she is a beautiful little girl who was most likely forced to do something she didn’t want to do.

    That guy must be blind.

  80. Sam says:

Parenting fail- making your chubby kid sit for a caricature artist against her will at the county fair.

  81. Bwggy says:

    Builds character

  82. YZ says:

    I’d say WIN!!

  83. BenjaminHeels says:

STOLEN from BUZZFEED. Originally posted on buzzfeed.

  84. ScottALot says:

This is Actually Fake. Or maybe this is the original? Anyways, there’s a version where he’s drawing Jabba the Hutt.

  85. Doug says:

Hey you idiots. This isn’t a fail. It’s a win

  86. Elizabeth says:

    She is already a caricature.

  87. KC says:

    Oh, the scars, the scars…

  88. Edebehar says:

TAT ISNT A FAIL TAT IS A WIN

  89. gimpykat says:

I agree with Gashloog, she chose to give the artist that sour look to try and work with so she deserves the horrific drawing she’s going to get. If she feel like having her caricature drawn, she should have said no.

  90. Medipoison says:

What kind of shoe is that in the corner? Where can I get one? My god, it’s beautiful.

  91. Yggdrasil says:

Such a stereotype… BBC It would have been a major failure but comming from fox It’s not as funny. Its like if we always saw the same guy fail on this site :P

  92. Captain Flowers says:

    That would be a win.

  93. gipp says:

i understand it must be so difficult draw such un ugly kid. she’s a cartoon so it’s impossible to make a better portrait

  94. B6-LLT says:

that should really be a WIN

  95. Serpent says:

I always used to make fun of ugly kids. Was terrified I would have one and be forced to to stop.. but genetics work my child came out beautiful. I took it as a sign that teasing ugly kids is the right thing to do. Fat Ugly kid = Fat ugly Portrait. Artist win

  96. K4K4W says:

Good copy FTW… Except for the ominous easel/potential temple-stabbing weapon… you never know when miss pouty-face might come into a hormonal rage

  97. Cdtte Col Timothy John, 2Lt of FAILton! says:

    Portrait WIN!!! Nice one, fatty.

  98. Jenisi says:

Yeah, it’s not exactly the nicest thing for the artist to accentuate her chubby face that much. I realize that’s what caricatures are all about, but there does come a point in time where you have to tone it down or edit yourself a bit. I’d say children sitting for an artist are probably that point in time.

Unless that child is a major brat or something, then I say give ‘em the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory treatment :P

But at this point, there’s no knowing why the kid looks so unhappy. So, I’d rather err on the side of compassion.

This is a total parenting fail, though. Yeah, yeah, genetics, blah, but at the same time, that doesn’t mean let the get become obese, it means work harder to give them a nutritious diet and lots of exercise. I’ll admit that I’m overweight, unhappy about it, and trying really hard to work my butt off (literally!), but my kids are all perfect on the BMI scale. I keep junk food out of the house except for an occasional treat, give them balanced meals, and send them outside to play instead of letting them sit in front of the TV or Wii all day.

Double parenting fail for letting your kid get a caricature done when anyone with a modicum of common sense would know exactly which feature would be blown out of proportion. Nice way to set your kid up for FAIL.

  99. WoWo says:

If the child and/ or parent would see the drawing, they would kill the painter

  100. ClariPossum says:

I can totally see self-confidence issues in this child’s future. I agree, at the very least the artist is being insensitive. Making fun of her weight is NOT going to help her one bit.

  101. A Noun says:

    What a hideous drawing.
First, it looks nothing like the child.
Second, he had to know he was going to affect her adversely.
Third, if I had to pose for an artist that bad, I wouldn’t smile either.

I can’t help but think that this will be a teenage mother in the making.

    • A Noun says:

And in case the artist ever visits here and reads this…shame on you. Absolute shame on you. Find another line of work.

  102. anon says:

who gives a shit? first of all, its a caricature. second, she’s a little bitch. third, its more of a…..portrait WIN. you really can’t make that girl uglier, but i guess you can with a nice caricature. yea. so…take that. XD

  103. JGOD says:

Have any of you seen my socks, I cant seem to find them!

  104. Satan? says:

    So, so, so, so cruel.

  105. Dani says:

I think she is beautiful and all you meanies young and old alike should be ashamed of yourselves. She is a cute little girl who obviously was not happy in that moment. Apparently a lot of you are in that mode quite a bit also and should therefore be able to sympathize a little. Little girl, you ARE a beautiful butterfly! That was the worst drawing of anyone I think I’ve ever seen-you are gorgeous! And I bet when you’re happy and you smile you light up the whole room!

    • Serpent says:

Cheeks wider then her forhead, Neck fold but somehow no neck. Are you sure your looking at the right picture? my guess is they only time this kid is happy and smiles is when shes eating a Box of peeps with both hands. Stop telling weak little children lies and maybe they will stop being weak.

  106. nazani14 says:

That IS what she’ll look like by the time she’s a senior in high school – unless we act now, and send her parents to nutrition boot camp.

  107. Ureshii says:

Reproduction fail (and I ain’t talking about the caricature)!

  108. runvsdawdle says:

JGOD, I think I found some socks…purple and green turtles on ‘em….yours?

  109. Feldspar says:

What were the parents thinking, having their child’s portrait drawn at such a bad time?! Both… the portrait and the child’s expression are unflattering. She actually is not that ugly at all, she just has a sour look on her face. The moral of this story: when you’re kid’s about to have a tantrum, DON’T get her portrait drawn.

  110. Emerson says:

Oh yeah, a Mad Magazine win!

  111. metoo says:

I live in a farm town in central CA – most of the kids look this fat. The “skinny” ones (normal weight) get made fun of. Sad.

  112. Dennis says:

Is it just me, or does the girl look like Snarf from Thundercats in the portrait?

  113. ELESSAR says:

    should be win not fail

  114. bas says:

any1 noteced you can see her right (left for us) nippel xD

  115. maya says:

this in no way is a fail. in fact, this is an EPIC WIN

  116. ajurieu says:

that poor girl. don’t her parents know that a caricaturist EXAGGERATES features?

on a less-sensitive note: is she part of an all-fat production of “Firestarter?”

  117. PhilSmith says:

She kinda resembles Zach Galifianakis I think…anyone?

  118. claudia says:

HOLY SHIT I KNOW THAT GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  119. Jeremy Henderson says:

How do we know this is a fail? Maybe she requested a portrait of Chris Farley.

  120. Cam says:

1′d for not being a portrait fail, it’s pretty accurate

  121. Deathcubek says:

Id acctually caunt this as a WIN but cuz its funny

  122. Troll123 says:

how is that a fail? at the least I’d say portrait win

  123. ML says:

Im a slightly overweight girl, and I know 3 boys that would love to go out with me- all of them are normal, skinny boys.
    Why?
Because of my personality and my face. Despite my curves, I have a beautiful face.
So to all you people who think that fat people are ugly, to all you skinny little anorexic whores who know that they’ll be worn-out burlap sacks by the time that they are 18…
    KISS MY FAT ASS
    <3

  124. Sigh says:

    This is crual.
Parent who feed their children unlimited amounts of garbage food only to have their children grow up to be depressed, have low self-esteems and either live an unhealthy life or have to work hard to lose the weight their parents put on them.
It makes me so mad to see this, as it happened to me on a smaller scale.
Parents, if you’re on here, you may think all your spoiling and treating of your child is great, but your child’s health is at risk.
If parents don’t figure this shit out, and soon, I feel like it’s grounds for social services to come in.
Obesity is just as damaging to a person’s health and having no food at all.

  125. Pratama says:

Oho… (added by Mobile using Mippin)

  126. JilutheFang says:

He drawed her quite good xD

  127. Vulpi says:

I think this little girl used to live down the street from me. If it IS the same child, that was her default facial expression. The picture looks more like what I remember her mother as being lol.

  128. Lee says:

I can’t help but look to the parents when I see an overweight child. There is little to no excuse (barring medical issues.)

  129. Lara says:

Well, the child looks pretty mad at life. What else would you expect? LOL

  130. ujdaq says:

    ouch XD

  131. Snuff says:

I sorta feel bad for her, really. She looks like she could’ve been crying before this :/ probably the result of having walked for hours at a fair, got a vicious sunburn and being told she can’t go home. That said, I bet her parents are even beastlier.

  132. DT0913 says:

    Future white trash

  133. Noodles says:

    She looks like Shrek…

  134. Wes says:

Multiple labels apply here: little girl fail, sketch artist win, and a classic parenting fail.

  135. John says:

    what an ugly child >.>

  136. Greet says:

Another non-fail. Voluntarily having an artist make a caricature of you is a widely spread practice in Europe, especially with tourists. This is not a fail in any way.
To the editors of the failblog: not everyone in the world is American. Embrace cultural differences. And do some research before you label something a “fail”.

  137. Dan says:

    Fail????? what???? More like WIN!!!!

  138. Sir Arthur Conan the Librarian says:

Some of us are being mean here. The little girl in the picture has met such people before. I can tell.

  139. miamo452 says:

    WIN!!!!!

  140. C says:

I don’t see any fail in it tho… It’s normal for that kind of art to exaggerate stuff =/

  141. moondog6b9 says:

Portrait WIN!!! That cartoonist has talent and was very accurate. The poor kid looks SO bitter…the caricature would have looked better if she smiled.

  142. Nulono says:

    Caricature WIN!

  143. Starcon11 says:

    WIN!

  144. Francisco says:

    Poor kid… GREAT ARTIST!!!

  145. blahblah says:

What’s he supposed to do, make her a skeletonized smiley face? People would be bitching about that too!

  146. blahblah says:

    This entry fails.

  147. ruby says:

parenting = fail, artist = fail. Don’t be so nasty, poor little girl, she’s how old? 5 or 6 maybe? And on the verge of tears. I can’t believe any real parents would get a caricature done of a little child. What were they thinking? It’s not even like her, and not funny either. Therefore caricature = fail also.

  148. Kosi says:

just when we thought he couldn’t make her more fat xD

  149. Lawrence says:

how is this a fail I think the picture is very nice… lol

  150. Garble says:

    that’s a win… its a good pic

  151. coolbeans says:

LOLOLOL the person who put it as a fail is an idiot thats perfectly well done.

  152. Megx says:

Okay, as an ACTUAL CARICATURE ARTIST who actually does this, I can tell you write now the artist is probably not being mean. If the kid refuses to smile, which they probably are, and the parents are looming overhead, which I’m SURE they are, he can’t exactly fake it and draw some pretty smiling kid, because as a caricaturist you have to draw them as they are, and exaggerate some parts…

A win for the artist on my part, just because he’s very good at what he does, and I seriously hope that kid isn’t really a brat and one day can have a laugh with her parents about how serious she looks.

  153. Whats the magic number says:

I feel sorry for the artist there’s no way he’s gonna get paid for that one.

  154. Izzy says:

I say artist win, but i feel bad for the scowling kid. I’d expect her to attack him or something once she sees the picture.

  155. t2 says:

Actually looks pretty accurate to me.

  156. Perplexed says:

I don’t see where the fail in this is…..child with rather large face and pissed off expression gets her picture drawn by a caricature artist….resulting picture…..caricature of a child with a rathre large fance and pissed off expression. What was he supposed to draw? A unicorn?

  157. David says:

That is one freakin ugly ass kid

  158. rubic says:

hahahhah he made that kid even fatter and uglyer!

  159. shanaenae says:

wow…..this is all the moms fault

  160. Devil says:

Haha fat ass! hmm, id say that girl wieghs 215 pounds, and the artist added on 2 pounds.

  161. Devil says:

wait i think the fail in this actually might be that theres a sword right behind the pix so it looks like its cutting into the girl

  162. failblog is fail says:

im pretty sure the artist did it on purpose

  163. UNOwen says:

that must have been a caricature. caricatures enhance certain facial features, so I don’t see why this should be fail.

  164. Hmmm.... says:

I seriously doubt those are the original proportions of the artist’s caricature. You can never be sure with the poor image quality of photos on sites like this, but the image looks like it was tweaked in Photoshop. There’s a poorly masked horizontal line between her eyes and nose. I’ll bet the person who submitted this enlarged the lower part of the kid’s face to make it look more ridiculous and “Fail worthy.”

  165. Maggie says:

It amazes me that some people think it makes a funny joke to say that a fat person is going to eat things other than food, or sit on people, for that matter. I mean, please, if you’re going to be insulting, at least use some wit and originality.

  166. Jess says:

i know its harsh, but so funny! I mean, look at her face, its so long and squidgy looking, she shud learn how to smile :)

  167. Frowny says:

Sometimes you just haven’t got much to work with.

  168. Ugly says:

    He looks hungry.

  169. justin says:

Parenting Fail – “Sure, you can have cupcakes for dinner… again”

  170. Emmy says:

    what an asshole

  171. E.C.P says:

wow he didn’t make one mistake

  172. maddogsteve says:

speaking as a cartoonist, that guy’s work is really good, lot of Mort Drucker in his work, speaking as a human being, if I were there I would kick his ass for not being kind enough to draw her smiling…you don’t have to be an asshole all the time…

  173. P.Nut says:

seems like the guy can draw the future to me

  174. Chadhulhu says:

I don’t think it is a fail, but a win. Shame the kid is such a downer. The guy drew what he sees.

  175. Chucklehofft says:

    Bacon anyone?

  176. failing failure says:

    I don’t see a fail…

  177. bob says:

shes not fat enough in the portrait

  178. Failzorz says:

I’d say Artist fail. If the Artist new what he was doing, he’d put some more fat on the cheeks, and a few more chins to top it all off

  179. Pheonuh says:

looks like her at age 40!

  180. snake says:

I think this is a win, actually.

  181. Marcy says:

Where’s the ‘fail?’ That’s as accurate a portrait as could be done, with an angry pumpkin wearing a wig as a subject.

  182. Pooface says:

    thats a win

  183. Fyrus says:

That’s not a fail for the portrait, but for the girl not smiling. It’s a caricature, it’s supposed to look like thar,

  184. jesus says:

Why is my child so fat….?

  185. T-cool says:

    epic…….WIN!

  186. peanut says:

you are all very mean…making fun of this poor little..hm well obese gurl when she gets older maybe she’ll get into sports and lose some weight and theres nothing wrong with being obese its just a health issue

  187. gena says:

    next comment fail!

  188. EmeryB says:

when u let ur kid get this pissed, fat, and sunburned, she aint gonna look pretty.

  189. Daytona86 says:

more like portrait win duh :) and a face fail What is she like 8?

  190. Kalipto says:

    Accuracy Win

  191. Jason says:

Yes this should be upgraded to a win.

  192. Paul says:

Her mom is a genius for letting her do it….now she is a nationwide success! Mom must be soooo proud.

  193. Stephanie says:

Ya know, this picture was done on other websites, I’ve seen the picture done with Jaba the Hut, so actually I think it’s one of those pictures someone’s changed the “artwork” on, cuz I’ve seen a few pictures as the artwork….
For those of you picking on her how she looks, look at your conscience.

  194. Kitteh619 says:

That´s looking like a win to me XD

  195. John says:

That caricature is a little too exaggerated.

  196. King Julien says:

Umm… I’m not so sure that’s a fail. Many of street artists are doing caricatures, not portraits. Perhaps this is one of those artists. When we hire such artist he always ask us if we want portrait or cartoonish style.
