Failblog seems to take things out of their context lately, to make them look funny. Like all those tv shows for no-brainers running in the afternoon television.
Maybe that dude just painted his hood like that for his kid. Maybe it’s his kid on the hood.
How can something like that be fail?

The fail is all over the hood of the car and is so large it is probably visible from space. It shows a complete inability to separate reality from fiction. Plus it is someone living vicariously through a fictional character, substituting themselves (or their kid) into the hero’s role. They are so desperate to escape their existence that they can’t just read the book and enjoy it, they have to become part of it. That and the fake bullet holes on the hood really push it into the epic fail category.
