It is a design fail if it was designed in that country and was made too big for the majority of the population. Then again that could be on purpose and it symbolizes the unattainable. Then it is a huge win just for the evilness of it.

True. Our local mall just put in a new restroom with these ridiculous sinks, big round things with an expanse of counter top in front of them. I’m a little bit short (5’2″, sometimes 5’3″ depending on who measures) and I can’t reach the faucet. I have to lift myself up a bit and lean on the counter which is of course always wet. Anyone under about 5’8″ will get a wet streak across their belly so of course most people just don’t wash their hands there.
