That’s not true. Palm trees are native to tropical and sub-tropical climates. There are native palm trees along the Eastern coast that goes up into the Carolina’s at least and all along the gulf coast.

Ah yes. Good ole Broomrape. I lulz every time I drive by it. Sadly, this is only one of many horribly named streets in Lake Havasu. I guess it’s not surprising coming from a town in Arizona that inhabits the actual London Bridge…because the London Bridge holds so much significance here…
