Introducing Once Upon A Win: A Visual Collection of Epic Wins from the Past
Remember the good ol’ days of your childhood? When you could just play with your favorite toy, savor that candy you only got when you were good, or sit in front of the television watching cartoons?
Now you can relive those classic times and moments with our newest site, Once Upon A Win. Take a walk down memory lane with our visual collection of the most epic wins from the past.
Remember playing with Lawn Jarts? Kind of dangerous, but yet so fun.
How many hours did you waste playing Nintendo Duck Hunt and cursing that stupid dog that laughed at you?
What was your favorite flavor of Fun Dip?
We all wanted to take a ride in the A-Team Van and do some awesome stunts.
And how cool was Airwolf? That theme song was truly epic as well.

A-TEAM, GO!
Um… wasn’t it Lawn “Darts”? Maybe that was the name in the States, but in Canada it was definitely Darts…
Nope, “Jarts.” Brand name. People got all fussy at ‘em after a few incidents. “OHHHH NOOOO MY LITTLE TIMMY ‘E’S GOT A SPIKE THROUGH HIS BRAAAAIN OOOHHHHHH” Wimps. Pull it out and tell Timmy not to throw it straight up next time.
Actually, they were called JARTs, which was short for Juvenile Aptitude Reconniassance Tools. They were meant to be unsafe; the idea was to thin the herd, as it were, by allowing the dumbest kids to injury, maim and/or kill themselves playing with the JARTs. The ultimate goal, of course, was to create a more intellegent society better equiped to survive the long Cold War with the Soviets.
Lets hope all the less intellegent of those kids were equiped out when they injuryed themselfs… looks like maybe more JARTS were needed in your neck of the woods my good man
I pity the fool who wanna go back and relive those moments!!
XD
Is there any way we can add this to the hot button bar above for easier viewing?
It should be added to the hot button bar later! We haven’t had a chance to update those links yet.
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Failblog,
Why is it that when I come home at night and try to add a witty and/or idiotic post it fails? I seem to be limited to posting during the little time I have in the morning before I get ready for work. Is there any way to change the website to accommodate night owl posters? I’d like to make comments during the daytime, however helping to ensure my job is still there during these trying economic times seems slightly more important. Whatever you can do to accommodate the needs for night-time posting would be greatly appreciated (I promise to buy Gummy lollipops and slightly ironic t-shirts).
Sincerely yours,
Sammy
P.S. I noticed your avatar and my avatar bear a striking resemblance. I think it may be possible we belong to the same family tree. Please help a brother out.
Sammy? Umm.. your posts aren’t failing. It’s just that once we get more than 200 posts here, well, we have to take additional steps. Try clicking on the “show all” link. That alone should help a lot.
BTW, I do not in any way work for failblog. Though I sorta wish I did.
Where is this link you speak of bird lady?
Under the pic or vid, and just above the comments. You seem to be doing alright though, you found my reply.
No, that’s not the problem. Mr & Mrs. Failblog can you help?
ohhhh, that is it. Thank you bird lady!
In addition to the “show all” problem, comments also occasionally get stuck in the “naughty” filter, and we don’t approve them as often at night.
If you ever have any questions, please email us at failpictures+contact@gmail.com; I don’t get to read the comments here as often as I’d like.
Suck.My.Plums.
o.k.
That dude has been dead for a while.
You can have my Lawn Jarts when you can pry them from my cold dead skull.
Or pry them from my dad’s Cadillac hood. Either one.
9th!!!!
is it a coincidence that this ad follows the first (?) ‘WIN’ ad?
This ain’t a very popular Fail is it?
Perhaps if we start a Thread on how sucky something else is,
then we can get a few more comments in here, or not.
Y’all start, I’m off to lunch.
first following the 14th
More acorns?
FAILblog is an appropriate place for Once upon a win.
You’re so right, Freeside. Once around was more than enough for all that oldies stuff. Fail idea.
Now I know they just are trying to advertise…but still…I have to:
This picture fails at failing…(no that’s not a double negative).
Concept fail
Yeah, I have to observe that this is definitely a Fail Fail (…which makes it a Win?)
Hey,
