FAIL FAIL – just b/c its a mix doesnt mean it cant be a pure breed.

can you have a pure bred rottweiler? of course. Is it a mix? Pure bred Akita? of course. is it a mix? yes.

there are very very few breeds which arent ‘mixes’ (at least documented).

Technically, since a puggle is a cross between a pug and a beagle, there is no way to get a pure breed puggle if you breed two together.

The “Gene Pool” theory doesn’t really matter! People who breed mutts don’t test their dogs for genetic problems– they just breed for money! So, you take an unhealthy dog and mix it with any another dog, and get… A mutt.

Mixed or purebred, health is determined by GENETICS and ENVIRONMENT, it has nothing to do with being a mutt or not! A healthy french person and a healthy white person can have baby that is healthy– or badly disfigured. It depends on their GENES & ENVIRONMENT! (Like if the mom drank while pregnant, and the baby had the Fetal Alcohol syndrome.)
