  13. War says:

Possibly there were 3 years that the event was not held during WWI and WWII.

    • Gladiator763 says:

  14. Loz says:

    The arrows ruin this fail.

  15. Bill says:

Sadly, this is a real event. I grew up 20 minutes from Circleville and used to go there as a kid. They have pumpkin EVERYTHING. They bake a pie that is about a foot thick and 6 ft in diameter. There is a contest for the largest pumpkin, and they have weighed in at well over 800lbs. The really sad thing is that some of the people that display these pumpkins LOOK LIKE THESE PUMPKINS!. (larger around than tall, hooked nose stuck up in the air, various warts sticking out everywhere, you get the picture.) I have travelled the country for 5 decades, and have decided that the ugliest people on the planet hang out here during the Pumpkin Show!

  16. Hotjoe says:

lol this is funny cuz I live near circleville, small town, what a chance

  17. iluffspumpkins says:

    *raspberries to you bill*
ohio is great and there are a lot of great people here. This has to be the most humble and interesting state.

  20. g says:

this is hilarious! I’ve been to the circleville pumpkin show and it’s awesome, but it totally failed on this one.

  21. scarslasher says:

Not very to me. They could’ve cancelled a few shows in the past.

  22. somedude says:

do i spot a double fail i see the misplaced hands with the year fail i’m not sure which one they want us to spot more?

  23. meep says:

Wow… how could they have missed that? -.- I thought people were educated more -.-…

  24. Erin Spring says:

FYI- It wasn’t a mistake- there were 3 years where the pumpkin show was not held because of the two world wars- so it was the 100th pumpkin show in 2006.

  25. U NO HOO says:

Seems to me, 100th show, 103rd anniversary (of first show).

A birthday is a birthday with or without a birthday party.

    You Fail douche

    • KaitLynn says:

      Bah… calm thyself…

If you don’t know the history of the Pumpkin Show it does look like a big fail.

I’m from that area as well and I find it freakin’ hilarious!

  28. alex says:

    HEY I LIVED BY CIRCLEVILLE!!!

  29. chris says:

the funniest thing about this one is, that’s around where I live.

  30. Jordan says:

I’m from Circleville! I’ve never missed a Pumpkin Show in my 20 years of living! (lame, I know) We do have a slight problem with being obsessed with pumpkins and our public education system is sub-par at best.

But the real reason is in fact because three years were missed for WWII.

  31. Chris White says:

this is technically correct because the pumpkin show in Circleville, Ohio did not happen for 3 years during WWII

  32. Mr No Name says:

No, it IS the 100th anniversary because WW2 held up festivity’s for 3 years.

  33. wouldnt you like to know says:

ummmmmm just out of curiosity, did anyone bother to look if, i don’t know, the fair got canceled for three years? like during world war II or something? cuz if it did, then it could still be the 100th anniversary. just pointing it out.
