Well, thank you for asking. Had you bothered to actually look at the posted picture, you might have noticed the handlebar mustache. This is, clearly, a woman. Men almost never wear handlebar mustaches, especially near signs directing one to Finkstown.

Ugh. Funny picture, but Twat means the same thing in the UK as it does here. I’m sure the couple who took this picture went “LOL, wouldn’t this be funny and ironic?” and snapped it knowing full well there would be a sign identifying her as a twat.

I actually do think this is photoshopped. The sign is real, but my friend has that picture at the exact same angle but without the woman in it as his msn display picture.

there is actually a smaller sign further down that road in orkney, it’s better as it only has ‘twatt’ written on it, rather than the extra finstown and kirkwall signage. that sign was stolen three times last year

I know the photographer. It isn’t a photoshop. And the one you posted is not the same photo at all. Look at the plants, look at the angle it’s taken from, in fact just look at just about any aspect of the photo at all and you’ll see you’re wrong.
