I live in that area and remember when that happened. The next night all the kids that got busted went out and did it again at another frat house. Fun times I suppose. Getting shit faced when your underage and diminishing your chances of finding a good job after you get your degree.

I don’t understand why the cops have to go busting up parties when there are more serious crimes being committed all the time. I mean, 60+ is a lot of damn people, but still, everyone likes to party. On the other hand, I have been to some parties where there were some incredibly stupid and reckless people, so I do understand how things can sometimes get out of hand.

nothing wrong with that: “police said early 61 people were arrested” so in the beginning, at the time vaguely designated as ‘early’, 61 people were arrested. by another point in the evening (perhaps at a time called ‘later’), police had arrested 14 more people, bringing the total to 75.

god i hope that’s not what they meant. no paper could be that illogical.

As a graduate of Bloomsburg University…I would like to say that you could create a whole new failblog using nothing but the greek life at bloom & the media from the town and university. The Bloom paper was notorious for typos, and I do recall one day our webpage claimed it was highs of 415 degrees outside. Bloomsburg is just fail.

On the comments section it does. It’s in the Recent Comments box under the Pictures by month box that your bolt is invisible. Your name is there, just the bolt is missing. Perhaps there are occult reasons.

It’s JOURNALIST writing. It could be:

Police could have said “We arrested 61 people at the Delta Phi house”, or they could have also answered “we arrested 61 people during that incident” when asked how many arrests were made by the reporter. There’s no way to tell which it is, so the error is on the part of the journalist for poor clarity.
