Neopets was originally designed for teens/adults. Too many kids started playing, that’s why it’s a kids site now.
It was first designed for college aged students believe it or not.It is more centered around tween/teens not ‘kids’ (5-9) people just look at the art and label it ultra-not-for-adults. In reality anyone in the category of ‘kid’ couldn’t do half the things there so why would they put that other half there if they were targeting kids?
