Sometimes it’s not the parent’s fault either. Things happen. Like rape.
And the kid may want to have a life to, but who is gonna take care of it? The pregnant teen sure won’t – they probably have school, friends, and even work to worry about. Not to mention teens want to be free and live a little before making a family. Single mothers, which is the bulk of who end up raising these kids, have it hard. Single teen mothers have it harder. Adoption happens, I guess, but it’s hard. If you’re lucky you’ll find someone easily, like in Juno. But only if you’re lucky.
I think abortion is fine, and – comical as it is – this sign gives a little insight into the easier options for teen parents.

Ja. Only in South Africa. I laughed at the fail, but felt a twinge of sadness at the same time. Our country had such potential a few years ago, only to go down the shitter in the end.

I’m so glad I emigrated. No more living like a prisoner in my own home, no more fearing for my life when I stop the car at a robot, no more constant power outages, no more idiot politicians…well, those are still there, but at least first world politicians don’t think they can protect themselves from AIDS by having a quick shower afterwards.
