If you look closely, you will see that just above the “F” “E” “R” and “E” are smaller words (as you cunningly observed, made up of letters) composing the message “buy get one one.”

i just now noticed the ‘fere’. it was bad enough with just the buy get one one.
The individual words ‘buy’, ‘one’, and ‘free’ are written on the same plastic
inserts as the letters ‘F’, ‘R’, and ‘E’. If they had fixed the spelling ‘FERE’ it
would automatically have fixed the ordering of the words in ‘buy get one one’.
… assuming of course that they only swapped the letters around that
are in the wrong place and didn’t go messing about with that last ‘E’.

Awesome! if its IPA spelling is [fir], then ‘fere’ means companion/spouse, but is pronounced the same as ‘fear.’ …so they were too scared to spell it right.

If I’m going to slap down a fiver for cereal, it’s going to be for Cracklin’ Oat Bran, which is basically oatmeal cookies in a cereal box. It also performs as advertised.

I THINK I WORKED AT THIS CARRS SAFEWAY!!! its in alaska, that happened, and i looked at it and I was wondering how long it would take someone to notice, about 20 mins after i noticed someone else did too.. so i told the managers and they didnt even realize this. i worked in the checkstand so i had no connection with this sign. and 5.09 for HBOO is actually quite common in AK, but that sale was worth the money.. 2 boxes for the price of one? hell yes.. sign me up…. if only they did shit like that at the smokeshops.. oh.. btw… future AK residents.. if you are a smoker and under the age of 19.. beware, u cannot buy cigarettes until you are at least 19..
