What makes me think fail is that not only is the tattoo spelled wrong, the "tradgic fail" insert also contains a very relevant spelling error. If you are going to point someone out as failing at spelling and post it all over the web, at least make sure you spell the correction right!

Wow, even without the spelling fail that it just badly drawn. I realize it's warped to our view in the picture a bit from being on the curve of a human body, but even so it is just...bad art! Not even getting into the bad outlines, the shading does not even make sense! Where exactly was the artist's light source supposed to be, here? Someone needs to go back to art school before they start putting their doodles on people's skin forever!

What's really funny about this is that every person who notices the spelling fail is gonna tell someone. Then pretty soon, this dope is going to be known all throughout his/her hometown as the "Dumb ass with the tragic tattoo." Who would go outside again with a title like that?

personally the comment about getting art for your wall, not your body, etc. i am im both a tattoo artist and a painter, my walls are covered, but my body is a walking gallery, i have tons of artists work on my body. each one has its own significance. and i actually know a lot of people who didnt even start getting tattoos til after 50-60 yrs old.

by the way tho, you should never rush out and get a tattoo thats probly the dumbest thing you can do. thats how you end up with crap like this inthe picture ( not to mention being a dumbass ) the artist who did it may have even told them to check it and such, but who knows. and the comment of lower class and drug dealer status is simply ignorant. hell, many cultures use different forms of body modification for a way to show their social status or even religious status.

Damn, talk about classist snob!

Lower class? Trash? Women with tat's must be sluts? Anyone with tat's must be a junky looking for drugs?

If you're not looking for conflicts, perhaps you should start with actually using your brain instead of using what is quite frankly antiquated stereotyping.

And as to your request. Five reasons you should get a tattoo?

Well, I won't give them to you. If you need someone ELSE to tell you why you would want a tattoo, then you really do not want a tattoo. Yes, they are for the most part permanent, removal is not easy, and nobody else can tell you what design really means enough to you to place it on your body.

If you don't want a tattoo. Don't get one. Even if you DO want a tattoo, don't get one unless it is something you're ready to live with forever.

I have tattoos. I'm not ashamed of them, nor am I a low class junkie incapable of being a professional.

I'm just going to take a wild guess here... You've got one of those tramp stamps don't you?

Stephieee (if that's your real name), you’re spelling it horribly wrong, I’m cooler than my name implies, and I don’t need a tattoo to make me cool, or to increase my ability to defend myself.

Now, with that out of the way, I’d like to add that your avatar thingy is very cute.

I’m forming a picture in my mind of what you look like based on your cute avatar thingy.

OMG, you’re smoking hot in my mental image of you!

Hang on a second, need to change a few things…

O.K., you’re now blond, have bigger boobs, and I removed the tramp stamp (you can thank me later).

Now I’m picturing us in a rowboat heading toward my secluded private island. You should see the dress I’ve put you in. $2,000 custom made to fit that hot shapely body God has blessed you with.

You’re becoming hypnotized by my awesome man beauty as you stare deeply into my very blue eyes. I’m now carrying you with my huge ripped biceps to a table already set with candles, flowers, and food. I’ve got your favorite wine.

I reach across the table with a napkin to wipe the steak sauce off your pouty fat beautiful lips, in spite of the fact that it’s turning me on.

I’m reaching across the table again and doing some hand flirting. I’m slowly caressing your fingertips. Oh, you’re doing it back now. That’s nice.

The sun is setting. The wind is warm and refreshing. I point like there is something behind you. You turn to look, but see nothing. You turn back to me, but I’m not there.

You flinch as you realize I’m under the table seducing your painted toe nails with my face and hands. You cross your legs like the lady you are, but that fails to deter me.

I’m making my way up your awesome torso. How do you stay so thin? My face is pressed closely to your breast. I can hear your heart pounding harder and harder.

I’m now carrying you again to the hammock on my private beach. We’re snuggling and watching the seagulls sore in beautiful rhythmic circles.

[@#$%! Hang on a minute, my grandson is texting me…BRB…]

Stephieee (if that’s your real name), you’re spelling it horribly wrong, I’m cooler than my name implies, and I don’t need a tattoo to make me cool, or to increase my ability to defend myself.

Now, with that out of the way, I’d like to add that your avatar thingy is very cute.

I’m forming a picture in my mind of what you look like based on your cute avatar thingy.

No one wants you to get a tattoo. Tattoos are cool. And you are not. You probably get beat up all the time by people with tattoos, don't you?

Usually you take the design in, they scan it onto paper (reversed) with transfer ink, wet your skin and then press it to you so you have an outline you can use to make sure it's placed properly. It's possible this person is so smart that they did this on purpose to add real tragedy to their tattoo, but I highly doubt that.

it should be harder. too many people take tattoos lightly and get something they regret later. if one has to think long and hard about it, and hear all the reasons not to from parents, friends, co-workers, strangers on the street; and after all that, still wants to get a tattoo, go for it.
personally i have no problem with tattoos, but i've never felt strongly enough about anything in the world to have on there permanently. in a way, i envy the people that have.

I can only give you the reasons that *I* got tattoos.

First: I got a tattoo of a tendril of forget-me-nots over my heart in remembrance of my son, who died when he was an infant. I wanted something very permanent and very beautiful to remind me of him...living, breathing, permanent jewelry, as it were.

Second: I write and publish fantasy novels. In my books, my characters have a specific way to greet and say goodbye to each other. They say, "A dragon at your back"...as if it say, "May you be as safe and secure as if a dragon guarded your back". So...I decided I REALLY needed a dragon at my back, and let me tell you...it's made a difference. I can feel her back there...she lends me strength and helps me remember that I'm stronger than I think I am. Humankind has always used symbolism and emblems to reinforce memory or will or fortitude. I just carry mine with me all the time.

If you click my name link, you can see my dragon tat design at the top of my webpage.
