it’s an action hero film – the hero has to zomehow get onto the boat which haz juzt left only hiz chozen method is to try to drive through a wall and jump the gap in a buz
Definitely ’shopped unless the pic was snapped the instant BEFORE the bus hit the water. There’s no way that bus will teeter with the majority of the vehicle hanging over the water like that…..
…unless invisible lines are holding it up (referring to dolt’s mention of it being a film sequence)
Well sure is photoshop, because no ship can be called “Et vaan osaa” (‘You just can’t do it’ in Finnish), but when it comes to the bus itself, I don’t know. And frankly, I don’t really care, I just lolled.
wow i was on that ferry like a week ago, or a ferry company using the same kind of boat anyway, i saw what happens when the brakes fail on a car in one of those ferrys, its not good
This seems like a fake, especially since the boat at the back says “Et vaan osaa”, which is a finnish figure of speech the kids use at the moment meaning “you just just at it” basically.
The Finnish have wierd figure of speech. What the hell is “you just just at it” actually supposed to mean.
By the way, Finnish might be the only language UGGGGLIER then freakin frensh or Italian (I write “Italian” with capital first letter out of respect for the food “Italian”….and “Finnish” gets it cause it’s the first time I’m paying out their language on failblog)
Before you get all roidy about it, realise I have said nothing bad about the respective people or their culture (unless they are Finnish/frensh/Italian nerds, then I mean bad)….just their ass-stupid languages.
I remember something like this happening, a girl I know works at the place where the thing docks/fails from. It was tethered like that, and never hit the water, but don’t know if that was exactly how it happened, same bus though and same type of boat. I can check tomorrow at work and probably find some press photos.
The bus is “Linje 888″, and indeed Danish, it travels from mainland across to Seeland on the boat/ferry thingy. But the thing in the background is strange too, looks like a ferry too and def. isn’t danish.
But does look faked though, looks like the driver’s still in there?
I am pretty sure the bus is on the ferry, which is on the right hand side. It looks like a jet ski catamaran like this one http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=K0DZToBdK1U or this one http://eis.bris.ac.uk/~cckhrb/ireland/stena-line.htm – I am pretty sure the cars go in on one side and out the other, but I might remember wrongly. Also, the cars are being tethered to the deck so that they don’t shift around in bad weather. I guess maybe one of these tethers keeps that bus inside?
It seems real, except for two things – the finnish text on the boat, and the fact that I havent heard about it in the news… I would surely remember that.
One thing that supports the fail is that the busses are actually parked near the bow of the ship – always. So its plausible.
It’s real, I actually worked at the ferry company at or very close to the time. This is approximately 10 years ago. I worked at the port on the other side of the route, so don’t know the layout of the one where it happened, but Molslinien does not own the entire dock on the Jutland side, so it’s likely that the ship with the Finnish text is not ’shopped.
hahaha
first fail
Tickets please.
First
fail
At least… it´s no Fücker-Bus.
But it does look like it’s being born… Fücker-Bus trip result WIN.
“Daddy, where do buses come from?”
“I don’t know, go ask your Mothers” (“S” on Mother and sarcasm intended)
How do you say “Get-R-Done” in Arabic? Anybody know, it would be very handy for me.
probably something like “derka derka derka”
first
Failed diving attempt!!!
whatever
Nice! It’s in Finnish! Et vaan osaa.
The bus itself seems to be danish though…
That’s why they just can’t do it. I was once in Denmark, it was closed.
loser alert

Wow you think highly of yourself….
Denmark is closed on Sundays. Read the opening hours.
Why do you assume that its danish?
The person can apparently read Danish.
Aalborg is in Sweden!!! So its a Swedish bus!
And New York is in Disneyland! The picture is from the danish city Århus.
Aalborg is en Denmark!
lol, I live in Aalborg, and I’ve been with that bus line too.
Yes, the harbor is in Århus.
oletko suomalainen?
Jeps. Onko täällä muitakin? And the bus is probably Danish, because Aalborg is in Denmark.
Jepa
En oo näköjään ainut joka tätä lukee
Jee! En siis mäkään
the bus did it for teh lulz!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
it’s an action hero film – the hero has to zomehow get onto the boat which haz juzt left only hiz chozen method is to try to drive through a wall and jump the gap in a buz
lol
my miztake he had to get off the ferry and onto land … becauze it waz about to blow up
How come when I read that I imagine you being drunk?
So they were trying to merge Speed 1 and Speed 2?
photoshop
yeah

The engine is in the back, and that is probably enough to move the center of mass behind the edge.
very good point.
The bus is jammed in the building; it couldn’t fall unless the building tears out of its foundation
>>> There’s no way that bus will teeter with the majority of the vehicle hanging over the water like that…..
Of course there is a way… what if the roof of the bus is now pressing against the roof of the loading compartment (or something else)?
Thinking FAIL!
Overconfident in one’s own intellect NERD.
Go recharge somewhere Borg
Then Prove IT

How the hell?
Where’s the failboat anyway?
On the beach, tanning.
I’m thinking the bus is actually on the boat, and that it just rolled back through the door when the boat started moving.
What did it do? Drive on backwards? The front of the bus is coming out – implies the boat is landing, but the wake looks like it’s setting sail.
if this was the case the door wouldn’t be hanging outward toward the water, but rather inside the building. LOGIC FAIL.
one of the best
Speed 3 fail!
I got a subtle chuckle from your post, good sir. Rly.
It’s like Speed 2, but with a bus.
Quoting Simpsons fail…
got to be one of my favorite Simpsons quotes, ever…
Well, that ferry isn’t a virgin anymore.
Iron Cherry Fail? O_o
Well, now, FINALLY a fail worthy of the name. At least it’s not the short failbus…
Finally some quintessential fail, yes!
yay, failboat and failbus is the new (fail)dreamteam
it is pho*os*opped
wow i was on that ferry like a week ago, or a ferry company using the same kind of boat anyway, i saw what happens when the brakes fail on a car in one of those ferrys, its not good
brakes failing is never good
why cant u write photoshop?
asterisk WIN?
it’s a boy!

“you just just at it” = “you just suck at it”
I wonder how I misspelled that.
maybe your a fu%%ing retard yes?
Maybe YOU ought to learn which ‘you’re’ you need in that sentence before you start flinging around the word retard, yes?

viva la failboat

Back of the bus NlGGERS keeping it from tipping over sorta win.
Whooops! LMAO, looks like someone forgot to set the brake! LOL

The text on the blue boat is Finnish. “Et vaan osaa” translates to “you just can’t”. It’s the finnish internet equivalent for “FAIL”.
It seems real, except for two things – the finnish text on the boat, and the fact that I havent heard about it in the news… I would surely remember that.
One thing that supports the fail is that the busses are actually parked near the bow of the ship – always. So its plausible.
Fake. Called the company (http://www.abildskou.dk/go.asp?LangRef=4) and it never happened. Furthermore, the bus only goes on one danish ferry between Sjællands Odde and Århus (http://www.mols-linien.dk/index.dsp?area=2) and that ferry is not that one as these ferries are new, fast catamaran ferries – and have danish names.
Sorry guys, but I only think it’s funny when it’s true.
And yep, I’m danish.
fail! Its true! I saw it on the news! And by the way it IS a catemaran on the picture.
And yep, I’m danish!
Haha im sorry it did happen
Why is the guy on the dock not looking? Does he have something better to do?
The text on the boat at the background (Et vaan osaa; stands for You just can’t in english, its finnish.) makes it even more funny D:
first!
It happened in denmark – Aalborg (typed on the bus) is a danish city lol.
My Uncle owns that bus company
And yes it is in Århus (Denmark)
I remeber the incident it was all over the news XD
FAIL!
I WAS IN THAT VERY BUS!
both of yall are f#%^ing stupid
Ahahahaha i live in Aalborg !

Bend over an i’ll show you bend over
Lawsuit incoming…
