» 221 Failures in Communication

  1. slackermagee says:

This video is no longer available… wtf? Looked (from the preview) like a general about to fail royally. Censorship? Or was the point of the thing being that yuotube had failed in delivering a video (hence the ‘Obvious Fail’ title)?

  2. stevetrash says:

    failblog fail?

  3. sniperjoe says:

    failed video post! -

  8. Tatjana says:

    i watched it… what a fail

  9. Anonymous says:

The video worked for me. That chick is a hazard to the future of the human species.

  10. hello says:

    i don’t see the fail

  11. CB says:

OMG. And this woman is an OFFICER in our armed forces. honestly, it scares the crap out me that people that stupid get to be in charge of weapons and command of troops.

    • Jen says:

It just figures to me that she’s a soldier. Nice FAIL! I hope no one at her barracks lets her forget it.

    • Anonymous says:

She’s not an officer, she’s a cadet (though she will be an officer when she graduates). Also note the silver wreath on her left just below her lapel, that is for military excellence. She is lacking the star for academics.

    • wato says:

Look at your CIC. I think that might be scarier.

    • DUDE! says:

No, not an officer, she’s a cadet from the USAF Academy.

Hopefully she got straightened out when she was sent back to the Academy.

  12. Spaghetti says:

    Failblog unfailed.

That chick totally failed. Someone needs to ekplain to her the basis of her fail, she looked surprised.

  13. Suellen says:

    K? Really?

  14. Nonymous says:

    Wow, she is ekcessi_ely stupid.

  15. xander says:

the look on the hosts face….

  16. Ok, Pat… I’d like to buy a clue please?

  17. Heino says:

What a moron. She probably thought “exclusive” was spelled “ekclusive”.

    • NoisyTigress says:

Uh, serious FAIL for you. What did you think the point of that was? That she spun again in the first place?

  18. ufail says:

every time someone trys to be first = you fail at life.

  19. troysax says:

I honestly didn’t know it was supposed to be exclusive. I thought it was some name for an actual nightclub

  20. Snippy says:

I’m not seeing the major fail… she was clearly stressed out and nervous by the whole situation… not seeing the word there is easy… she clearly didn’t have a clue what the word was by the way she called out “K”

… I just don’t get whats so major fail about it….

how about the critics here get on a game show like that and try to do it and see how well they do!

  21. Anonymous says:

I thought the fail was going to end up being her hit the bankruptcy after the 10,000. The host’s face was priceless. I wonder what her family looked like?

  22. Cartman says:

That’s freaking awesome!! I love how stupid people can be when they’re on game shows xD

  23. RogueThree says:

    Her skupidity was showing…

  24. SPC. T says:

Looks like Navy maybe? Figures, squid p.o.g. showing the world what officers are really like ;p

  25. Tamut says:

dyslectics are known to often show higher than average intelligence. A number of bright brains are said to have suffered from varying degree of dyslexia. Those include Einstein, Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Faraday and many others.

    reference: http://nostalgia.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyslexia

So maybe bad grammar doesn’t make a bad officer

  26. DivaPie says:

Too be honest, you’re all missing the most obvious factor – Wheel of Fortune is rigged, and it has been for years! There are NUMEROUS shows where a contestant is about to call out a letter and then their attention is somehow drawn to stage right and they then make their ‘choice’. Sometimes you can even see the persons reaction to the ‘choice’ they are about to (read: have to) make. It’s ridiculous, it’s all for the sake of good TV b/c everyone loves a fail, hence this blog!! After all, many of you commented on how funny Pat’s expression was. I think that was the point ;)

    • Loliepop says:

      you’re sure shoveling something…. but I don’t think it’s pie.

    • drb says:

      Game show conspiracy theory fail.

      • Proud_Spic says:

Actually, DivaPie is correct. If you go back and watch it, she does look to stage right before answering. It’s called being observant, why don’t you try it sometime. And yes some game shows do rig their games. It’s called getting good ratings and staying on air. That’s probably how Wheel of Fortune has stayed on so long.

        • Anonymous says:

Its called looking at the used letterboard, dumbass. Ever since the gameshow scandal in the 50′s there have been tighter controls.

    • ReTARDIS says:

No, the obvious point is that you’re a dipshit and you probably believe the X-Files to be proof of the paranormal.

    • Anomnomnomymous says:

This isn’t Quiz Show. Get over yourself with your “we never landed on the moon” conspiracy bs, please.

  27. Failuritis says:

    How skoopid can you get?

  28. huh says:

    haha wowww

  29. sorsha says:

    Military Intelligence.

    Nuff Said.

  30. strongsad says:

Air Force academy? These are the people in charge of the most powerful and scientifically advanced weapons in the world. Imagine what sort of bad decisions they’ll make during high pressure strategic combat scenarios.

  31. E. says:

maybe she couldn’t read and just winged it?

  32. haley says:

    lol
did you see his face when she said K?
    he was like
“wtf? are you stupid i dont even know what to say”

  33. ReTARDIS says:

Well, this might be one of the reasons the war in Iraq is failing. I mean like, maybe 14%. We all know the other 86% is Satan himself, George W Bush.

I mean, come on. You don’t know “exclusive”?

    Oy gevalt.

  34. nintendogs says:

    its NAGGERS

  35. Wesley says:

Ever wonder why we’re losing the war? Betcha don’t anymore.

  36. asdf says:

even I saw that, although I can’t read

  37. Tamut says:

dyslectics are known to often show higher than average intelligence. A number of bright brains are said to have suffered from varying degree of dyslexia. Those include Einstein, Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Faraday and many others.

so, maybe that bad grammar, doesn’t make a bad officer.

    • Luanne says:

Again to this comment, it’s about SPELLING, not grammar. NOT THE SAME THING, GENIUS.

      • Mashi says:

        Tamut also FAILed at spelled “dyslexia” correctly. :}}}

      • Tamut says:

Sorry, First post didn’t show up, so I tried another one. And yes, you’re right. It is spelling and not grammar. my mistake. happen to be a dyslectic myself ;-)

        • Well.... says:

But dyslexics see letters backwards or incorrectly… not entire words with two distinct meanings and groups of letters. Spelling and Grammar only share 1 letter in common….

  38. Cloral says:

The audience’s response was the best part to me. Clearly everyone in the audience knew the answer to the puzzle.

  39. anonyman says:

first and everyone else is gay

  40. Lethal Larry says:

…. not that I am, in any way whatsoever, EVER in the habit of defending american military personnel…..

but, in her defence, it does occur to me that that clip may have been spliced together from several episodes. I mean, if it was edited, it was seamlessly done – but it is a possibility.
That was the first thing that occurred to me when trying to explain this exhibit of startling stupidity.
Then again, maybe she thinks “Exclusive” is spelled “Ekclusive”. She was, after all, dumb enough to join the american military.

  41. assbanger says:

Military tight ass that I would bang all night fail.

  42. Wolfie says:

    “C for Rabbit”

  43. wood says:

proof that military intelligence is an oxymoron

  44. Spewk says:

is she retarded or smth? o.o

  45. Evil Smurf says:

    Almost epic!

  46. Anonymous says:

Believing you are making the world SAFER by blowing up innocent arabs and inciting civil war to facilitate stealing their oil from under their noses, whilst propping up corrupt puppet regimes with the worst human rights records in the world is an intelligence fail.

    This was mild by comparison.

  47. DEDEDEDEDE says:

    Next comment is awesome

  48. DEDEDEDEDE says:

just wanted to let y’all know

  49. Lodi says:

    That was so stupid!!!

  50. Luqman says:

    LOL.

  51. Mr. Marsh says:

Ok the topic is people that annoy you.

    N_GGERS

Uhhh, I don’t know if I can say this on tv…

  52. CHRIS says:

that my friends is why women should stay in the kitchen
    any arguments?

  53. hymen says:

next person to comment can suck my balls

    • munch says:

they’re delicious, thank you. they are so small, so shrivelled … they’ll be raisins when they grow up!

  54. Proud_Spic says:

In defense of the military, not everyone is like that. My father is in the NAVY and he is one of the most brilliant men that I know. Secondly, for all of you who fail at understanding what’s going on, turn on CNN instead of being dumbasses.

All of you who bad mouth the military:
Either stand behind them or stand in front of them.

You only get to say the things you do because they do the job that you are so reluctant, lazy, and unintelligent enough to do. Try standing in the shoes of a military kid once and awhile, then say all you want about the military.

There’s something about not know if one of your parents will come home in a box, mentally unstable, maimed, scarred, or the chance that they’ll turn up MIA.

    • notifier says:

Hey kid, been there, done that. Too many idiots and morons in the military (Navy that is) to shake a stick at. How about you go on deployment to the gulf for 6 months straight and live side by side with the most wretchedly stupid (grammar fail) imbeciles and see how you feel then.

Until then lets all revel in the intelligence of this future Air Force officer.

    • Lethal Larry says:

and how odd that it doesn’t seem to even OCCUR to you that just PERHAPS we don’t NEED a bunch of murderers carrying on wars… if your bloodthirsty country could make even a tiny effort to stop picking fights and making enemies all over the world, then military morons wouldn’t need to die – not that they do need to, anyway. Every person who is in the military actually has the right to choose NOT to serve an evil leader. I can’t feel compassion for someone who puts so much at risk all for the sake of what is undoubtedly a colossal error in judgement.

      • Proud_Spic says:

Still your words are protected by them, your ability to have an opinion is protected by them.

        • Lethal Larry says:

uhhh… nope…. wrong again. I’d still have all the words I know if the american murder forces were not currently committing atrocities all over the world. I would, likewise, be equally able to say what I’m saying right now if your military were not committing crimes against humanity all for the sake of making rich, evil bastards more rich.
What you’re saying, if I’m not misunderstanding, is that if the amercian forces were NOT currently illegally occupying Iraq, I wouldn’t be able to have an opinion?
My words would not be protected?
Ya know what? They are NOT protecting my “ability to have an opinion”. They are, as I said, protecting the interests of rich, evil bastards. They just don’t know it.
All they’re told is that they’re “doing their duty”, “protecting freedom”, “protecting liberty”, blah, blah, blah, a bunch more bullshit and brainwashing.
If they weren’t invading foreign countries, you and I would still be as “free” as we are right now. The Iraqis and the Afghanis were NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER going to invade North America. I mean, yeah, you piss people off enough, they’ll counterattack, such as they did against the World Trade Centers – and when that happened, the rest of the world held their breath, hoping that perhaps you dolts would take it as a wake up call that you’ve got to stop PISSING PEOPLE OFF…. unfortunately, you’re all too brainwashed to think for yourselves – that’s why you elected a cretin like bush…. twice…. TWICE, for god’s sake….

You’re a people without hope. Gone. Brainwashed sheep, utterly in the clutches of your corrupt government.
          You all have my pity.
          And fear.

          • Cartman says:

…..Really? We’re seriously getting pissed off and fighting over a funny video? Take it to e-mail or something, the majority of people on here come on here to see something to brighten up their day, not to “hear” other people’s opinions on military s**t, kay? Knock it off.

          • jabs1960 says:

I agree with Lethal Larry…and also with Cartman.

  55. Kim says:

My husband can’t spell worth a damn, but somehow he manages to fly around a multi-million dollar Air Force plane all day. I’m pretty sure there’s very little spelling involved in flying.

    • Jules says:

Absolutely. I saw this episode of WoF and groaned and laughed like everybody else, but I don’t think not being able to solve a puzzle like that under pressure has anything to do with whether someone is a good soldier.

Jeez, of course it’s easy to guess the answer from the comfort of your own couch with no pressure or a timer and without dozens of people staring at you. Qualifying to be on the show is difficult. They only pick people who can quickly solve puzzles, but it’s different once you’re on the show. I bet most of the people jeering here would freeze under pressure too.

  56. stepo says:

  57. MD43 says:

you and hear her said “I don’t know it” or something like that at 0.31.

    Randy Marsh fail.

  58. Qiddas says:

I wonder if she’s ever operated an AX-47. mahahaha.

  59. ! says:

Poor Casey. I went to high school with her brother. I remember her as the little girl who would get laughs for imitating the idiot children in the “It’s Shake ‘n’ Bake! And I helped!” commercials. None of us saw her becoming the poster child for military intelligence, or getting pwn3d by Pat Sajak. A bit scary that she flies planes for us.

  60. Jesse says:

I couldn’t figure out the answer to the puzzle either. Those X’s and V’s are elusive. Poor girl.

  61. CyberBetch says:

I would have at least said Z

    ezclusive sounds closer than ekclusive

  62. Pescador_Gama says:

  64. Suaveydavey says:

    What a _nucklehead.

  65. magichateball says:

This is the future of our military, ladies and gentlemen!

  66. TheWadhams says:

Finally, some humor as a result of our military lowering their standards to let mental defectives in.

  67. dealinhoz says:

she could’ve kept that $10,900 for a much needed brain implant.

  68. ronbailey says:

Well, now we know why she’s in the military….

  69. Mirko says:

She must be a KDE user

  70. desertsoldier22 says:

I don’t think she is in the military. I can’t recognize which service. No American services have Enlisted Rank worn on shoulder boards on a service jacket. It might be Air Force, they change their uniforms every week. As for the resident communists. If you have not been to Iraq, shut the hell up. I have been to Iraq twice and I have never seen anyone kill a civilian on purpose. We are very sensitive to this issue. The fact of the matter is we are the most professional, most capable service in the world. Manned by volunteers who love their country and wan’t to show that America is not the bad guy. Millions of Iraqis are now free to pursue their destinies, without fear of a brutal dictator. The funny thing is, we went to war in Kosovo (which was a civil war) and nobody complained. Even after finding the accusations of ethnic cleansing to be greatly exaggerated. Yet the media, the left-wing bloggers never complained. The reason is that you blindly hate Bush, you hate republicans and the only way for your skewed ideology to succeed is for America to fail and the people to be scared (global warming). Much like the germans in the 30′s (they were into another scientific eccentricity “Eugenics”) we are being scared and drawn into an ideology that threatens our freedom and our way of life. Lets not forget that greatest attrocities in the world were commited by people who had no value in the worth of a human being. As a matter of fact 60 mllion were killed by communism and other leftist ideologies.

    • Petrograd says:

I don’t doubt masses of military ground troops are doing their best in Iraq, sometimes more than one can expect.

There are plenty of dictators in the world, what country the US decides to overthrow the dictator of seems rather random if you tried to go predict it based on how human rights are taken care of in the country.

I objected to the Kosovo attack as well – the US acted arrogantly in that matter as well.

I’ve heard of many Americans discussing their “freedom” and their “way of life”. I don’t understand the “way of life” concept really – I’m happy to keep my life, and I like to have my country control my country.

The problem with the attack on Iraq – regardless of the apparently fake mass destruction weapon reports – was that the US somehow decided it had the right to change the political power of some other country.

I’m sure you would’ve been quite annoyed if Iraq had decided they didn’t like your government, and thus sent in troops and overthrew the leadership. (Yes, I realize this is an unlikely scenario, which is only partly the point. Just because you CAN do something doesn’t mean you SHOULD do it.)

Sadly, the only ones in the military fight in Iraq – the ground troops, who are doing the dirty job – are the ones who lose the most on this. Ironically, it’s probably what will cause this to be enough of a political problem to be avoided in the future.

With the situation obviously not working out as Bush predicted (instead, Iraq is being much more like those “left wing” predicted) the US seems to have started realizing the UN can be used for those things, and are now participating in meetings where the reconstruction of Iraq, with the help of UN, are being discussed.

Taking care of this sort of meeting – and Iraqii refugees (because surprisingly, the US has accepted very few of those) is what MY country get to do thanks to some country on a continent far away deciding to attack another country on another continent far away. Thanks a bunch.

About “communism” killing people… if the US cared, they’d be attacking China, not Iraq. There’s no communism there. Sorting everyone in a left or right wing file and saying they’re all a like is silly. I’m not fond of republicans (nor democrats… they’re all too right wing for my taste) but I wouldn’t say they’re like nazis, who were considered right wing. (Which even that is ironic, since they called themselves national socialists.)

  71. bizu says:

    exclusive stupid!

  72. qballvet says:

Wow…that’ your United States Air Force for ya. Fail into the Blue.
