True. “STD” is written all over India, Nepal, etc. Also there are swastikas everywhere, they don’t have the same connotation, the swastika was around long before the Nazis adopted it as a symbol of their own.

This is a definite world knowledge FAIL for you ‘merkins. In a large part of the world (esp. previous British colonies including the UK itself, STD means “Standard Trunk Dialling” (aka long distance). Nothing fail about the sign itself – you’ll see plenty in India and neighbouring countries.

Speaking as somebody who, for one thing, begins sentences in correctly capitalized letters… both “spelt” and “spelled” are correct. “Spelt” is merely an older, more archaic spelling. It’s also used slightly differently in some cases, tensewise. So inasmuch as the sentence itself (herpies being spelt h.e.r.p.e.s -”herpes” dumbass) may be incorrect, “spelt” is perfectly fine.
