If only there was doors labeled ‘PUSH’ on the other side …
Its federal law that all doors from the inside leading out on public buildings have to be pushed in order to leave. That way, if theres a fire, you don’t knock somebody out swinging the door back, or the mob isn’t blocking the exit. Least thats the way it is in the USA, unless some idiot made the door himself, at which case he can get sued big time.
No, there is no law like that whatsoever. Building codes say that doors serving an occupant load of 50 people or more must swing outward and have pushbars. Fake expert fail.
