    • Vagabond says:

      ZOMG FOTOSHOPED!!!!!!11oneoneone

I think fhqwhgad is right. No body has ever seen a joke sign before?

      “Slow Children: 10 Points”
“Shoplifters will be fed to dragon.”

  6. Haf says:

I’ve never seen the second kanji character and I can’t find it in my dictionaries either. Strange. However I found a translation for “unsafe” that uses the first kanji character, it reads buyou in Japanese.
With that, the whole text would be “buyou to fuben wo urumise”.

  7. Anonymous says:

it really does look like it has to be photoshopped to me.

Something like that just can’t be for real.

  8. Vismund says:

    Truth WIN!

  9. Anonymous says:

go to engrish.com, this really isn’t all that amazing. shit like this is all over the place

CompuAce with inconvenient products? Finally, a computer software manufacturer with a “no bullcrap” advertising policy.

  11. silky says:

can’t you all people just have fun …?

i think all of you are invidious, if you are a bunch of hot shots make your own picture in photoshop or what ever, or find them o the streets, or fake them important is the result : people having fun !

  12. Mephiles says:

    Photoshop! ;)

  13. b33tsAch says:

    I LIKE THE b33tsech

  14. Anonymous says:

    fhqwhgad is right.
This is their website. http://www.compuace.jp/indexp.html (Japanese only)

  15. Johnny G says:

Oh those Japanese and their engrish, gets me every time.

  16. Ben says:

Did you even read the Japanese? It says the same as the English. It’s a used parts computer store. All used part stores in Japan say that. The person who put this up prob thinks it’s an Engilsh mistake, but it’s not.

    • Kid Choronsom says:

      You are right!
This is NOT a fail folks. This is NOT a sign for marketing, it’s a warning sign that is successfully translated into English too.
The person posting this pic failed when he/she thought this was another example of “Engrish”.

  17. Johnny G says:

No… It just says marketing fail. Which it is, and/or “honesty win”. Both of which I find humorous. Nice Post.

  18. jpnz says:

some people already pointed this out but..

this isn’t mistranslation! it actually says inconvenient and unsafe products in japanese. they sell old computer parts. here’s their website – http://akasoft.com/compuace/

  19. Anonymous says:

    Soooooo…CompuAce is CompUSA’s Japanese branch?

  20. Mr.Photoshop says:

    OBVIOUSLY PHOTOSHOPPED!

  21. sunny beach says:

I think it’d be funnier if it weren’t for the “MARKETING FAIL” macroed on the image.

  22. dolt says:

there are some signs in England which say “children please drive carfully” and the legal driving age is 17

  23. Tom says:

The best part is the single quotation mark at the beginning of the last line.

  24. Christine says:

Japanese are so upfront about their products…
Although they would get business cos people like a bargain.

  25. loudribs says:

OK…as the submitter, let me set this straight….if this is photoshopped, it ain’t by me…I just stumbled upon it and thought it was fair chosty. Having travelled a fair bit in the far east, I can safely say that this sort of thing is pretty much common place. As for the whole ‘is it a fail cuz it looks like legit japanese?’ train of thought, all I can say is LIGHTEN THE F*CK UP. What is this, http://www.letsspoilanhonestlaughbyindulginginpointlessandpofaceddebatedaboutforeignsmantics.com?
Nay, I say! It is the fail blog!
Oh, and as someone pointed out, this is the tip of the iceberg…..engrish.com veritably overflows with mistranslated laffs….worth using an Internetz for.

  26. silverbraids says:

    you misspelled semantics… LOL

  27. laubo says:

    #100!

  28. Srgt. Gizmo says:

Geez…definitely had to skim through a lot of nonsense…. =P

Um, photoshop? I dunno it’s hard to tell these days sadly

  29. Johnny G says:

There is no such thing as a Marketing sign as opposed to a warning sign. Everything a company does reflects the way it Markets products. If a day care said, “Pedophiles work here.” It would be a warning…. and I wouldn’t take my kids there. Thus a marketing fail.

  30. s says:

The Japanese words actually says what is said in English.

The submitter automatically assumed that this is another “Engrish,” for lacking lingual competence in Japanese.

  31. Anonymous says:

This is a real sign. I used to shop at that store in Akihabara (inside Tokyo, Japan) all the time.

Cheapest places to get cables, connectors, etc.

The store was 1/2 computer parts 1/2 modern witchcraft store. I swear this to you!
If I get around to it, I’ll post some pics of it later.

    • evildave says:

Now I remember where this place is – the witchcraft remark got the brain working again. Going from JR Akihabara, turning left at the Suehirocho station corner and on the left near the Koban.

I think it was around 1998 when I bought 2 340mb ide hard disks (in case one didn’t work) at this shop for 1000 yen to use as scratch disks to test-install something on. They both worked.

  33. j.sma says:

failblog.humor.FAIL — that sign says exactly the same thing in Japanese as it does in English. it’s a joke, ne.

  34. 笨及了 says:

Why do some people still insist that it is photoshopped when several people already mentioned that the Japanese says exactly the same as the English and also explained why this is.

  35. no says:

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  36. Anonymous says:

Write that in russian and you get “Win”. People like buying beta versions.

  37. Rende says:

dude. Shut the f*uk up already. Go stab your eyes with a rusty needle and the stick a flail up your ass while little children pee on your already soiled body

  38. tuga says:
