So I suppose this is a Fail at poor site design…. the double negative there of course meaning that its more a win
Cheez, I thought it was running a little bit smoother. From a code standpoint, I guess that means you moved the ads after the content? Good call.
Hell, if you really want to replace First, replace it with FAIL. Hence, instead of “First!” it might just say “Fail!” which would make sense, and “First Post!” becomes “Fail Post!” which makes even more sense.

I like the concept but how would you handle it when a post contains the word “first” in an appropriate context?
Shouldn’t be impossible. I believe the framework is C#? Did I read that somewhere? Whatever it is, I’m sure it’s versatile enough to stop the pattern matching after so many posts. Say 10. Also it could kick in if the whole message was under a certain amount of characters in length.
No news about the Fail Shirt contest?

How ’bout some kind of user validation so the little kids would quit posting nonsense comments like “First” and “Photoshopped” and calling each other third grade playground names?
But most of the stuff here does look photoshopped! I’m pretty sure it is!
yeah but just being photoshopped doesnt mean the idea around it isnt a fail, like some stuff fails because of the idea around it, so what if its fake? it makes some people laugh, which is surely the point, people shaking their heads thinking ‘omg im so glad im not THAT dumb/stupid/ugly/gay’ etc is the entire meaning of failblog.
I’d get rid of videos and pics of little kids getting hurt, that shit is just mean. stupid grown ups are fine, kids getting hurt isnt. So there!

Your Toyota ad which says “roll over to see videos” seems to be on a constant loop playing over and over regardless of where the mouse is.
