this is actually a very clever idea and given the loop holes in vehicular laws this is “technically” not illegal…( would have been a total win if the tape matched the color of the car though)

I saw one similar to this rolling around in San Diego, CA. The guy had taped a pink hand held mirror to the housing, it almost fit except the handle was sticking out into the street. Pretty Epic!
Saw a guy do that in Florida, except he made the handle stick towards the ground. I laughed for about five blocks.
