i did a google search for “checkers 1401″. there are two with this address, one in Pompano Beach, FL, and one in Washington DC. judging by the trees and houses, this is the Washington DC one. If you value your life, don’t stand near any drive through restaurants in Washington DC.

Hey, we have a few of those restaurants in Iowa. They’re Be-Bops and they have drive-thrus on both sides of the building, one for driver’s side, the other passenger’s side. So this a major fail! Or did he think “Drive through both lanes???”

This is the Checkers directly across the street from my house! I wasn’t home when this happened- I just saw the boarded-up windows and was deeeeeeeeeesperately hoping that meant they were closing… no such luck! They’re still open, meaning the streets are still littered with huge soda cups, wrappers and bags people just throw on the ground, and it’s still a magnet for crime. F-in’ Checkers.

Not an Arby’s… not a Fast Eddie’s… it’s a Checkers. In fact, it’s the Checkers at the corner of 14th and Maryland NE in DC. I know this for a fact, because I live right across the street.
We’re near this Checkers as well. It’s pretty much the Checkers of death. People get robbed and assaulted inside that place all the time, even during business hours. Customer service fail.

I know where this is! It’s at 14th st, SE in Washington, DC. As of December 2008 they STILL haven’t fixed that window. It’s just plywooded over, making the place look extra ghetto.
