Its like the little kid saying: “when is it going to start flying??” manager:”we promised a ride but we never promised that it would be on the air, sucker”
Actually, not so much lately, though I admit I don’t read the comments too much because the LOLspeak gives me a headache in large doses. Now they seem to go to great lengths to avoid the f-word.
But anyway, teh_pwnage was stating that s/he was the first person in this thread to yell “first” – not asking the question “Who writes ‘first’?”
The other day I saw a comment appear in the top 3 – might have even been the first comment – after at least an hour. Must have been in holding somewhere waiting for approval. Got the “first! second! etc!” BS-waste-of-space comments all bent out of shape.
Too late….
I think this is what happens when the hookers get kicked off the bunny ranch and have to find a job…..”Sure baby…I’ll train ya to fly a helicopter.”
I took this picture about 2-3 years ago on the way to Hoover Dam. Scarey if it is the same copter. The wind had blown it off the landing pad in the middle of the night.
I was *just* there last weekend! I saw this pic before we left for Vegas and when I saw the helicopter on that mound of dirt I thought it looked familiar!
LOL man i went for a chopper ride for like 15 mins and it costed like 250 bucks for 3 ppl. Man thats so expensive… but u stay alive and thats whats good for ya lol… I’d rather pay 250 and be alive than 29 and be rolling down a hill LOL
Actually, they’re sneaky. As mentioned above, this is at a hotel right next to Hoover Dam. They have a big “$29 Helicopter Rides” sign out front (larger and more prominent than the banner here)…but if you get around to the other side and look backwards (which is hard if you’re driving toward the dam vs. away), there’s a smaller sign that notes that the $29 rate is for a circle over Lake Mead, and that it’s $69 to fly to the dam.
I CANNOT BELIEVE I TOOK A RIDE in this same exact chopper 3 days ago!!! I PAID 29/person lol for 2 minz ride…the ride was awesome…but now I am in a complete state of SHOCK!!. lol…shud have seen that comin lol…
The incident with the helicopter happened about 3 years ago. The pilot was an idiot and walked away from the empty chopper early one morning while it was running at 100% . The chopper was junked and the pilot fired. The operation is a safe one without any crashes or incidents. They are very up front about the rides. the $29 ride is 2 minutes and goes to boulder beach and back, the dam ride ($59) is 5 minutes and the 10 minute ride goes down the black canyon below the dam.
This is a completely safe ride and a professional place. They have been in business for over 10 years. Their entire staff do an outstanding job. Thank you for adding your comment pilot guy! The truth be known!
The helicopter rides are on the other side of the parking lot from where I work (Hacienda Hotel/Casino), just south of Boulder City, NV. I was in the kitchen at the restaurant when I heard about the crash. The dumbass pilot left the helicopter’s engine on while attending to something in the office briefly, and it just took off on it’s own.
I’VE SEEN THIS!!!
I actually saw this on the way to my Grandparents house.
There is a casino just to the right of this pic, and everytime we went by i would ask my parents for a ride… except for the time we saw this.
29$ fail
That was funnier than the pic. idk why though, lol
Helicopter- $5,000
Helicopter ride – $29
Helicopter fail? – PRICELESS
For everything else, there’s MasterCard.
You mean Fail card
Awwww almost first
LOL i would pay that much money!!! what a cool chopper ride… To Hell!!!
Its like the little kid saying: “when is it going to start flying??” manager:”we promised a ride but we never promised that it would be on the air, sucker”
You get what you pay for.
I agree.
I think this is near the Hoover Dam.
They broke their dam hellicopter!
Yes i swear i’ve seen that on my way out of vegas, its right next to the crappiest hotel i’ve ever seen.
third! and first who writes first!
…Everyone on ICHC.
And you’re fourth…
prickety prick
STFU.
“…Everyone on ICHC.”
Actually, not so much lately, though I admit I don’t read the comments too much because the LOLspeak gives me a headache in large doses. Now they seem to go to great lengths to avoid the f-word.

Hehe, I know what you mean. Plus, I’ve seen that people seem to prefer “not second” to “first” on ICHC.
Oh man, this is why you don’t drink and drive… Especially if you’re flying.
don’t drink and drive, smoke weed and FLY!
Too late….
I think this is what happens when the hookers get kicked off the bunny ranch and have to find a job…..”Sure baby…I’ll train ya to fly a helicopter.”
Hilarious!
I have driven past this place, it is right next to Lake Mead in Boulder Nevada… Poor Helicopter…
Yeah! I recognized this spot, too! We drove by it a few months ago and thought, ‘What a great deal!’
…obviously, since I’m alive to write this, we didn’t take ‘the deal’.
Me too! I remember it on the way to the Hoover Dam! And I, too, thought it would be a good deal, but didn’t stop.
maybe it is a deal with the devil?
I was driving past there last week, and dang if that doesn’t look like the same helicopter that was on the pad then!
Quickpost this image to Myspace, Digg, Facebook, and others!

Me and a couple buddies were going to get a ride from these yahoos last summer, but they were closed… lucky us.
you’re right. it’s near hoover dam. i actually lol’d when i saw this in real life last week!
Anyone else loving all the pictures of Tom Cruise that look exactly like a Fail pic, just with the ‘FAIL’ missing?
29 bucks is quite cheap for a chopper ride, apparently too cheap…
What they failed to specify was if it was a helicopter ride in the air… or a helicopter ride tumbling down a dirt hill.
id say the crashing was the best part of the ride
Aaah never forget your first flyin lesson
It would have been a better fail if “$29″ were crossed out and replaced with “$9.95″.
How about a WalMart “falling prices” sign?
Have you ever seen one of those signs where the price goes up?
For those who haven’t driven past there, here’s the location of this FAIL: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=36.010512,-114.782131&spn=0.001308,0.001829&t=h&z=19

LOL it got BLOWN OFF! wow definitely gravity fail.
I was going to chime in- I’ve actually been in a chopper that took off and landed from tha spot- by Hoover Dam.
I think the second 9 is hidden. $2.99 discount.

This is right outside of Las Vegas, near the El Dorado hotel on the way to the Hoover Dam.

That’s a bargain.
Sad. Is that near hoover dam?
I was on that helicopter the week before that happened. Great experience, apparently no the pilots though.
you get what you pay for!
