Seems to me only the police car failed. Managing to get your car on top of a police car like that is a win. Very very funny indeed.
Actually, this wasn’t a police fail. This was the other driver fail. He PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE instead of driving away I believe. The police were not amused.

Yes, it was not the Buffalo Grove PD fault. The driver was pissed and tried to drive away but he didn’t have the Camry in “D” it was in “R”. I drove by it.

bam- you rock for stayin on the cops side! my brother is a cop and basically everyone gives him crap and excuses all day, but he keeps his cool and hardly ever gives tickets to people I would totally give like five tickets to. Cops have a hard enough job, but then they have to deal with retards; who bitch and moan until someone breaks into their house or they need some help – then they say that the cop is their hero… until they get pulled over or busted for pot again…

How could this happen with so little damage to either vehicle? Unless it was purposely set up that way for a training exercise. The fire department did that in the parking lot next to where I work – they took several vehicles and stacked them up so they could practice using the jaws of life to open them up.

This is a somewhat common occurrence with rear-enders when both cars are braking heavily. Deceleration pitches both cars forward. Both cars are ass-end up, front-end down, so that upon impact, the rear car simply slides beneath the car in front.
You’d have to be braking pretty damn hard to get the ass end of your car high enough for another car to slide underneath it with little/no damage. I don’t buy the “common occurence” explanation.
Yeah, to the point of locking up your tires. That will virtually unload all of the rear suspension. and on cars like that Toyota, they have a LOT of rear travel and suspension movement.
If you notice, the cop car has a pusher-bar on the front, that would absorb most of the initial impact, and the hood IS wrinkled up at the front. The back end of the other car is covered by plastic that’s designed to flex if it’s hit, especially at that low angle. I’ve seen this happen, and could totally believe this one.

The police pulled over an older gentleman for speeding. He was none to happy with being “harassed” by the police for doing 20+mph over the speed limit in a more or less residential section of town. So he decided to toss his Camry into reverse and backed into and partially over the cruiser.
If anything this is “Grumpy Old Man — FAIL!”
The peepee pulled over an older poopoo for speeding. He was none to happy with being “peepeepoopoo’d” by the police for doing 20+mph over the speed limit in a more or less peepee section of town. So he decided to toss his poopoo into reverse and backed into and partially over the peepeepoopoo.

Whoa, there is a video of this in progress on one of the lower pages. It was the police’s fault im pretty sure, he just sped up right under him.
Um no, it wasn’t the officer’s fault. The guy was pulled over for a speeding ticket, after receiving the ticket and arguing with the officer the guy put his car into reverse and floored it.

lol i saw the viedo clip of this, the guy got a ticket, was quite annoyed about it and wanted to dispute it. But anyway he took it, cop got back in his car and waited for him to pull out first, you could see the guy indicating out ready to pull out but he obviously hit reverse instead of drive.
