Any beached sailboat would be on its side and not upright.
The jib halyard looks new and the railings are polished.
Some things like the winch appear out of position.
The tangled green rope is the only clue that is contradictory. Commercial fishermen commonly use that color as net material. It may have arrived later because it is mostly on top of the sand and not buried as if it had been lying on the deck.

Agreed; the rigging looks pretty new and if the boat had washed up/left there it would be on its side.

Your right, it is a little high.
From experience, I can tell you that the boom is NEVER set high just so that you don’t smack your head.
Now excuse me while I get some tylenol for my concussion-induced headache.
yeah, youd figure that if someone got a boat that badly beached theyd have it caried off somehow or another if they can, or itd have signs of someone trying to move it at least

yeh, but you figure it would take a helluva long time for that to happen, and you would think someone would have noticed it.
Add one (one) Major Storm, adn you have plenty of energy to bury a boat.
It looks like someone took the prow and the mast and junk off of a boat and stuck them in the sand.
