  1. anon says:

This is not a “fail”, this is a horrible accident. The fail blog is for fun, and there is nothing funny about a pack of cyclists being wiped out by a drunk driver, especially when one was killed and others seriously injured- the “fail” is yours for making a joke of this.

  2. Catherine says:

Yeah this is pretty harsh, someone actually died in this thing.
I agree with the first post…

  3. EHM says:

I agree with both. I usually think you can joke about everything but this was just too soon.

    • Anonymous says:

So if time passed it would be okay? hello non sequitur….

      • Anonymous says:

Yeah haven’t you learned anything from South Park?

      • N says:

Yep. After a decent interval of time, this event will only be known as “that one accident that killed someone who would be dead by now anyway, even if by old age.” Because of that disconnect, people will forget that these were actual people being comically hurled into the air.
Yay for a jaded life view!

  4. did says:

This needs to be taken down. There’s harsh reality, and then there’s making light of the death of a person and severe injury of many others.

  5. jenzer says:

Agreed – this is in poor taste – 1 killed, 10 injured and sent to the hospital.

  6. Matt says:

    Yeah, not funny.

    • Pooter says:

It’s pretty funny, actually. Stop thinking about the death count and start thinking about how this is such an epic fail.
You guys are retarded trying to go all ‘White Knight’ on the internet.
The more you fail, the harder we laugh.

  7. Jay says:

I dont know what you guys are talking about. This is life and failure is a part of it. This is hilarious and shouldn’t be taken down.

  8. mjw says:

Not funny or at all appropriate for this blog. You fail.

  9. J says:

I agree that this should be taken down. I want to laugh at people being stupid, not at drunk drivers causing deaths.

    • Deodand says:

I agree. The fails I find funny are the ones of people messing up a little, not people dying. This one is too harsh for my taste.

  10. Ash says:

    Unsubscribing this feed.

  11. SlaunchaMan says:

I’d take it off, too. I understand that part of life is making fun of funny things, but it’s far too soon.

  12. Anonymous says:

    not funny at all

  13. Xmarks says:

This is a major failblog fail.

  14. Wolfgang DelaSangre says:

It’s sad that someone actually died in this accident.

But that doesn’t mean that the driver isn’t made of drunk and FAIL. It’s not funny, but it is still FAIL.

    • Matt says:

But the point of this isn’t to show people that simply fail. A test with a low score wouldn’t be worthy of this blog, even though there is failure involved. A normal college acceptance letter wouldn’t be worthy of fail.

The point is humor, and there is no humor present here. It is not funny that a group of cyclists were hit by someone who was impaired while driving.

  15. chris says:

Completely tasteless and insensitive. This needs to be taken down ASAP.

  16. SuperJesus says:

Next I suppose you guys will have a picture of an aborted fetus with the text “Birthday FAIL!”

    Sorry, you’ve disappointed me…not funny.

    • Anonymous says:

      That would be hilarious!

      • amz says:

I concur! People, seriously! perhaps the caption should have been “drivingFail” but this still definitely qualifies as a fail.

    • PK says:

“super jesus”?!? now THAT’S funny. Birthday fail comes in a close second.

btw I think I see “super jesus” in the black shorts on the upper left. “up up and away!”

    • anonymous says:

      …birthday fail… … ;|… ;]…
      ;D HOLY CRAP THATS FUNNY!
      oh, that was clever.

but on the topic of the post,
yes it’s horribly sad that somone died, and it’s probably bad taste.
And i feel bad for the person who died and the people who got injured
But isn’t this site about how tragic we are as a whole, not just the cutsie poos,
if you want that, go to Icanhascheezburger…
and also, what on this site is good taste…
      so i don’t know… they gave you a warning, didn’t they?

      • Anon says:

        Hear hear.

People died. yes, but some people use humour to process death and other terrible things. Think about Wakes in the traditional sense? Where you have a drunken party to celebrate someone’s life after they die.

If you’re going to be so anal then don’t bother coming on this site.

    • TheLarrikin says:

      Grammar Fail :P

    • haza says:

maybe i AM a horrible person… but “birthday fail” made me chuckle outloud

    • Anonymous says:

Shut up Super Jesus, you fail for been called Super Jesus.

    • bailey says:

      hahahaha that is funny

  17. Dennis says:

So you’re tagging the as controversial but not removing it? That desperate for page views? Completely inappropriate.

  18. Kathryn says:

Poor judgment posting this. It’s not humorous in the least. Yes, it’s a failure, but the resulting injuries and the lost human life deserve more than this. (The R.I.P. message is an attempt at kindness, but it can’t ameliorate the poor choice.) I was really enjoying this blog but this has called into question whether it’s worth reading. Please reconsider.

  19. madzero says:

take a joke. this is really funny, actually. really, how does that even happen.

  20. Sensible says:

This shouldn’t be taken down. It’s no more “out of taste” than any of the others. Do you really think people don’t get hurt when “failboats” crash, or when people fly off of bikes? Do you really think that peoples’ lives don’t get ruined in some of the other “fail” accidents? People really need to get a life and quit picking stupid causes to fight for. Nobody is being harmed here, let the post stand.

    • Matt says:

In the case of people who get injured in failboats, they aren’t dying, and often they’re the person who made the mistake, or from the same company as the person who made the mistake.

The person who failed in this one didn’t pay the price. Someone died. Injury and death are very different.

      • Scott says:

Agreed. It’s one thing when someone makes a stupid mistake and pays the price with a bump in the head. It’s completely different when someone makes a stupid mistake and someone ELSE pays the price with their life.

      • stingray02 says:

How do you know no one died in any of the fails? Can you be certain that no deaths resulted from a failboat? Do you follow up the story behind every picture posted on this site to ensure that every single accident was one caused by the person who failed?

Unless the failblog has gone through and weeded out some of the older pictures, not all of the pictures on failblog are funny. Some are disturbing, some are disgusting and a great majority are flat-out tasteless.

I didn’t find this picture particularly funny, as it looked like a serious accident. However, I’d be disappointed if failblog backed down from a picture like this, because this is a massive failure.

      • Odyssea says:

Wow, im sure that the thought of people who crash in a boat and end up dying will some how be comforted that they didnt actualy die. Hitting water at speeds achieved in power boats could be akin to hitting concrete, but if your sure then you go with that.
Its not ‘funny’ but it is a Fail. Its a Fail of safety, but it should stay up as after all, maybe it could make someone think twice about drink driving themselves.

      • Anonymous says:

Last I checked, plenty of people die when ships sink.
        Drowning/hypothermia/ectra = Death.
        {And you know, people on the ship not at the helm are totally at fault for dying.}

    • Phil says:

You poor thing. You must have been in a horrific accident yourself that caused irreversible damage to your sensitivity nerves. We feel bad for you. You didn’t happen to vote for socialism, too, did you?

  21. b. says:

    quit being such pussies, everyone.

    • Anonymous says:

      agreed

    • dj says:

Dude, sounds like you need to be put on time out or something. You sound like a little kid having a temper tantrum.

Now the grownups are going to talk…so you go back to your room and play your Grand Theft Auto or Halo or whatever…ok, sweety?

  22. Jonkss says:

I don’t understand you guys, ok, one person died, to sad.

What are you guys discussing? You guys kill Mexicans EVERY DAY while they are trying to have a better life crossing the U.S border.

It’s only 1 more mexican not disturbing the U.S.

  23. Sara says:

    Please take it down….

  24. Joe McAwesome says:

“Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you walk into an open sewer and die.”
    - Mel Brooks.

  25. Sensibler says:

I agree with Sensible. I’m waiting to see photos of the folks dying in gas chambers marked as “breathing fail”, and pics of thalidomide babies listed as “zygote maturation fail”. Hell, show us what’s really funny, post a pic of you cutting your wrists so we can label it “circulatory fail.” Lawl.

    • Going to Hell... says:

      I lol’d.

    • JJ says:

You’re missing the point. The image isn’t saying that the bikers are failing, as they are clearly doing nothing wrong. It’s showing the drunk driver failing at driving. I don’t think it’s inappropriate to show this image because its empowering the victims by highlighting the fail of the aggressor. Somebody who kills by drinking and driving deserves all the public shaming that the failblog has to offer.

  26. Kelsey says:

This is completely tasteless and insensitive. How dare people laugh at this.

    • haza says:

aristotle calls it Catharsis… look it up

      • Jen says:

And Aristotle was so RIGHT about everything. NO.

science has proven time and time again that catharsis is worthless.

this blog is not funny. it is disgusting, speaking as someone whose family member was killed by an intoxicated driver. keeping it up is tasteless and pathetic.

  27. Sensible says:

“Circulatory fail” .. that’s classic! I want to see a Viagra add with “erection fail”. :)

  28. monty says:

unsubscribing from this feed. Desperate for attention?

  29. Anonymous says:

If this pic were posted a year from now with no accompanying article/memorial, everyone here would find it hilarious.

    • Sensible says:

      True story.

    • Matt says:

As a biker, I certainly wouldn’t. You can tell from this picture some serious damage is being done, including some that’s potentially life ending.

    • Jester says:

Exactly. I found it hilarious until I read the comments as I didn’t know anything about the accident.

      • Anonymous says:

I found it hilarious, read the story, and laughed even harder. I mean come on, a mexican “american citizen” passing out at the wheel drunk and doing his best impression of carbowling ball? And that picture looks straight out of a cartoon!

  30. Penn says:

If this image is removed then we have a “freedom of speech fail”.

    • dillweed says:

censorship is different. this is community feedback.

here’s my vote for “not funny”. posting this wasn’t evil or edgy, just immature.

      • Penn says:

Yes, but this “community feedback” is calling for the removal of this picture. If that happens, that’s cencorship. This is a blog where the community is able to post what they like. Everyone has the same voice here. Your opinion about how that voice is used is yours, and you are always entitled to voice yours just as freely as they are theirs. removing one post and not another is the only wrong that can be done here.

        • Matt says:

It’s someone’s personal blog. How can removing a post be censorship when it’s not some other authority (webhost, government) doing it?

If you remove a post from your own blog, it might be *self* censorship, but it’s not really censorship.

        • tia says:

The definition of censorship in the U.S. is:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Taking down the picture in the community is not by the government; therefore it’s not censored — it’s following the community’s wishes.

          • Neil says:

The legal definition of censorship and the dictionary definition of censorship are very different beasts. If I choose to withhold my opinion on a given topic, it is self-censorship, but censorship nonetheless.
Do I think the image is in poor taste? Yes.
Would I have posted it myself? No.
Would I remove the image, once posted, had I the power to do so? No.

I believe that any form of external censorship is wrong. The creators/editors of this site chose to post something controversial. If people don’t like it or don’t want to see that sort of thing, they are free to create their own publications; easier than ever in today’s world.

            • jinx says:

oh yes, THAT’s why we come here. so we can get ideas of how to make our OWN publications. because we have nothing better to with our time. get a grip – some of us come here for some comic relief in our otherwise-stressful lives.

Oh, and BTW… if you say or do something without thinking it through very well, and your friends point out that it hurt their feelings or otherwise was “not cool,” apologizing (some call it “taking it back”) would be good sense, not censorship.

Oh, and congrats for falling onto the bandwagon of “all censorship is bad.” Who told you that? Your favorite emo band? Self-censorship = good social skills. The censorship that we are talking about in those anti-censorship rants… is when a higher authority censors someone under their rule. If YOUR post were removed without your authority, THAT is censorship. It’s also called moderating. I don’t know if you’ve realized it, but un-moderated public forums are an annoying waste of time and space.

          • Correcter of tia's fail says:

The definition of censorship doesn’t change based on the country, censorship is still censorship, it’s just whether (and to what degree) it’s legal. All you stated was the first amendment, which, by the way…is not a definition…it’s a constutional amendment.

            Definition Fail.

          • Doug says:

That is the first amendment. The first amendment =/= censorship. The two are related, but censorship is the act of blocking some or all content from public view. To call for the removal of the post would be an act of censorship.

        • Kelsey says:

Excuse me for not believing that tragedy is funny. Someone lost their life in this accident.

  31. Random Passerby says:

I agree with Sensible. There’s posts on here of boats crashing into houses or bridges, or pictures of car accidents. You think people didn’t get hurt or killed in THOSE? And yet you protest THIS picture because you can actually SEE the people. If you’re going to get upset over this, go complain about the car wrecks and the failboats.

  32. PK says:

lets not forget other historical fails:
WTC on fire – “fail plane”
A chinese man being shot in the head in the middle of the street from the 60′s – “protest fail”
Hiroshima mushroom cloud – “picked the right side of an argument fail”
    Kennedy assination – “duck fail”
Jesus Christ on the cross – “original fail”

  33. Brock says:

also unsubscribing from this feed – should have thought through this one – later

  34. “I want to laugh at people being stupid, not at drunk drivers causing deaths.”

… and a drunk driver causing somebody’s death is not stupid?

    • J says:

That was my comment, I’m not saying that the two are mutually exclusive, just that some stupid is funny, while other stupid is not. Agreed it is a pretty major “fail”, it’s just not what I wanted to see at the time. Kudos for hiding it behind a link imo.

  35. anon says:

you find it in poor taste because you have knowledge of harm and/or death?

what about all those FAIL BOAT pictures, people might have died there
where were all you bleeding hearts then?

take it with a bit of humor, and this is just your average fail.

    as b. said
    quit being such pussies, everyone.

besides, how many fails aren’t user submitted?
i dont find the blog at fault
even provided a link to the article
    good job fail blog

  36. t says:

Someone died from this, have some respect for his loved ones and take this down please.

  37. ZekeS says:

Yeah, this is a horrible accident, but Random Passerby sums it up best. You all are leaving because you see the injured and dead in here, yet you won’t leave the feed over things like the ‘failboats’ (btw, go read the Pop Sci back issues – neat story about a guy who died recovering one)?

    You all are hypocrites.

  38. Anonymous says:

Leo, way to describe awesome fails in your attempt to discredit them.

  39. Tony says:

unsubscribing from this feed. i’m not going to make some thin argument about how this is different than all the other fail pics on this site. this blog has just been going down hill. I subscribe to feeds like this and the stupid cheezburger stuff for a lighthearted escape from the daily harshness of life, such as this very picture. i dont need it any more.

    have fun.

  40. Ahriman says:

Life is harsh, our false* or conditionated feelings of sadness can’t change the fact that someone’s dead. So laugh…remember…”A Laugh’ll bury U all…”
Maybe too son, but not inappropriate.

*false intended as not necessary because i doubt that someone witing here knowed one of the victims. And the empathy for not lovers or relatives is a social construct. Nothing real. Even MNR tell the brain activates different areas than the real grief does.

    Have a nice Götzen-Dämmerung day. ;-)

  41. Tony says:

A mans balls should be as big as his heart and not the other way around. grow a brain.

    also, irregardless isnt a word.

  42. jim says:

    “irrigardless ” isn’t a word dummy.

  43. Anonymous says:

To everybody saying take it down: What do you think we’re doing in Iraq? Planting flowers and trees? This shouldn’t be taken down. This should stay up. People die every day. That’s life. Boo-hoo, one guy died. It’s not like everybody involved died. This is an idiot failing. Homicide can be funny if done correctly, as this was done.

    • jinx says:

oh i’m sorry. how stupid of me. i meant to go to the fail blog, not CNN.com.
oh and btw, good for you for going “anonymous” when you post something so absurd. very telling.

  44. Sensibler says:

Your mastery of the written word confirms you as an authority in FAIL.

  45. Zero says:

Yes, please remove. Tasteless. “Take away the death”, indeed — take away the death and I bet you think the Hindenberg was hilarious too.

  46. I LOVE VERONICA says:

Have I mentioned that I love you?

This post — yeah, its sad what happened — but if people knew “you” personally, they wouldn’t be that upset. The picture is a great money shot. Horrible situation though. But good shot : )

    Love you!

  47. Andylat says:

Cuando hay muertos en un accidente le quita toda la gracia al Fail.. bastante de mal gusto :?

    ———————–

When are people death on an accident, all the fun of Fail is lost… preatty bad tase :?

  48. Anonymous says:

This belongs on a faces of death video, not this site

  49. Eric3 says:

    Another feed subscriber lost.

  50. m750 says:

This is wrong. It’s tasteless, and doesn’t belong here.
The first poster said it best. Take this down.
    AO

  51. Jayge says:

Subscription feed fail. Real classy. Later failblog losers.

  52. Manny says:

I agree, take this one down. Controversial implies naughty, not fatal. Not something to be laughed at.

    • colleen says:

controversial does not imply naughty at all.

controversial has the connotation of that which can cause emotional unrest or estrangement.

i will admit…i was one of the people to submit this photo.

i saw it on cnn and started laughing, prior to being aware anyone had been seriously injured.

if you are offended by it, that is completely within your right.

as for guessing what failblog posts will be next (ie: the holocaust), this is a slippery slope argument that is logically flawed, because one post that you find questionable does not equal a pattern or overall degeneration.

also, as mentioned, this was the most submitted picture in the history of failblog, so obviously it is not the just the web masters who have, in your opinion, such hideous taste.

in my opinion, the picture, as it stands, is funny. the incident surrounding it is not humourous, and the loss of life is saddening–i dare say no one, except for a possible small minority of individuals, disagrees with this.

if anyone chooses to stop reading the blog, that is their own personal decision and they should not be insulted for such. humour is an opinion based concept, and, as such, there can be no single definition. personally, i will continue to read the blog.

      fail on.

      • Manny says:

well, i certainly hope no one you care for dies and others think it is funny. even if someone wouldn’t have died, this would still not be funny in my tastes.

      • somone else says:

you, my friend, are a wise zen-master in completetyety…ed

  53. ldypolgara says:

we all need to laugh at the accidents of others whether someone is hurt, killed or just fine. If we couldn’t laugh at misery of others we would never laugh again. Need I remind people of America’s funniest videos? Jackass? outrageous moments caught on tape? How many were hurt with those? And we just sat there and laughed at them. Maybe a good laugh will help people recover faster.

  54. clepunk says:

most of you people are scum bags. Why is this even listed as controversial. This website is founded on looking at videos and pictures making fun of people for things that they do or their misfortunes. A motocross rider flipping off his bike crushing himself is ok. A baseball player taking a fastball to the face or the nuts is fine. But now that a car crashing into bikers is not. How about this if you can’t look at things in the context of comedy don’t visit here. I bet that most of you that are complaining about this picture are the same type of people that would laugh at the movie Norbit. In closing to the people that have issues with this you can blow me.

  55. Anonymous says:

I’m a bicyclist, and I’ve had severe injuries from accidents. Physical therapy isn’t fun.

I’ve also lost two very close family members to a drunk driver.

That said, DON’T GIVE IN TO THE PUSSIES, KEEP THIS UP!!!

  56. GETOVERIT says:

you know what? PEOPLE DIE IN WORSE WAYS EVERY DAY!
For one thing, the people that are wanting this to be taken down are lame, hippocrytical, pathetic, lilly-livered, easily offended and slightly communist.
for the editor of the site to put it on a pop-up is a sign of him/her having a lack of self-confidence. THIS IS THE FAIL BLOG. where you can see countless GIANT boats full of likely HUNDREDS of people possibly drowning to their deaths. Its human nature to laugh at tragity. Those of you who want to take this down are DECEIVING YOURSELVES into thinking the world is near-perfect and tragity shall always be adressed with solemn silence and anyone who uses their rights to make a (funny) joke out of it shall be shuned and smited.
    YOU LOSE. GOOD DAY SIR.

  57. human bowling...lol says:

    heh, I agree completely

  58. jimmy says:

Someone’s life being cut short by murder is never funny. I’m done with this blog.

  59. Ernie Oporto says:

Very bad taste. One of the people in that picture is dead.

  60. CHRIS says:

    R U KIDDING ME!
    that is freakin hilarious
bikers piss the hell outta me, if they wanna share the road, goes as fast as cars do!
every single person knows when they pass by a group of bikers, they just wanna ram them, and this manly man decided to go for it
i wanna live like he lives

  61. CM says:

Yeah. I love this blog, but I do 120 miles of bicycle commuting a week, do charity rides for cancer and MS, and race. Not funny. You fail.

  62. Chris says:

I loled. After that I realized that someone died. Next, I realized that’s the only reason you people are complaining. Then I loled again.

  63. Anonymous says:

Yeah, it’s horrible that THAT happened. And I guess it also makes a horrible person for seeing a little bit of humor in it, but oh well.

ps: not un-subscribing to this feed quite yet.

  64. clepunk says:

I found out something else about this photo, if you listen to the benny hill theme music while watching it, it’s so much funnier.

  65. minishaw says:

this one should be removed as this is only recent and its a bad incident and it isnt a fail at all

  66. Anonymous says:

    take it down.

  67. MarkFL says:

    Poor taste: Yes
    Should it be posted: No
Am I going to say take it down or leave it up: No.

Well, maybe we’ll get lucky and someone who sees this will think twice about getting behind the wheel after a few too many and call a friend or a cab.

BTW, when and where did this happen?

  68. bs says:

    Whine whine whine.

I’m a biker and I’ve had my share of close scrapes with cars, so this picture is actually pretty terrifying to me. That being said, this is one of the most hilarious fails I’ve ever seen and I even was one of the submitters of this as soon as I read the story. I don’t agree, though, that the Fail is on the shoulders of the bikers, as is implied by the caption, but rather the Fail is by the driver of the car.

Responsibility Fail or Sober Fail, is more like it.

Also, I second Kevin’s “Chris = human fail”. Share the road.

  69. bs says:

It was a bicycle race, and the driver fell asleep at the wheel because he was drunk. Not the cyclists’ fault.

  72. j says:

I might have thought it was funny, except that the first time I saw the photo I was desperately searching to see if one of them was my husband. He’s safe. And this is a really, really bad idea of a joke.

    Take it down. Really.

  73. Evan says:

Post whatever you want, just understand that you — and the people who reflexively laugh at this stuff or defensively attack any critic are the ones who have lost your sense of humor. I’ve laughed hard at dozens of images on this site, over the past several months, though I was never a fan of the dead or suffering animal pics, or those of people who were truly terrified and in pain. I’m just not that into aggrandizing the egos of people who are so totally lacking in empathy. Some people think things like The Darwin Awards are funny. Personally, I don’t think it’s amusing — or just — that someone should die just because they are stupid or made or mistake or have an addiction etc. This site has become increasingly infantile as people have dug ever lower for material to submit. I’m leaving before this turns into a site for snuff-films and autopsy photos.

You can joke about everything, but not with everybody. That’s the only thing to take in account.
You people saying it’s too early are the wrongest in this debate.

There is no “right time” to joke about certain things. Racial jokes can hurt people independently of the moment they are told.

Have you watched “Achmed the Dead Terrorist” ? To my mind it’s funny as hell. Some people, probably mostly families of 9/11′s victims, won’t find it funny at all.

So, the context of this pic can shock some people, and it’s understandable. The grotesque of the situation can surprise some other and provoke hilarity, and it’s understandable, some people have a darker sense of humor.

And then there are the hypocrites that laugh at the failboat because they don’t know if there are casualties.

Keep the pic, and keep the debate. That’s interesting.

It doesn’t concern me. My brother would be in the pic, I’d probably feel like shit. But he’s not.
And as 90% of you I don’t feel sad.
It suck for the guys, yeah. Certainly. The drunk driver deserves jail for a long long time, yeah, true.

I feel horrible , and give my regrets to anyone who knew the person who died,
but you know what? I DON’T KNOW ANYONE WHO DOES! And thats why me and the other 80% of the people here truly, at the center of their hearts, aren’t dramatically affected by us making humor of tragety. I don’t feel sick, I LOVE the darwin awards, it’s natural selection, lets go with that. This pic isn’t. Not in the least, but it’s still funny. Want to know why? BECAUSE WE’RE HUMAN.

  79. jinx says:

you know what? i read through all of these, and none of them made me feel like a hypocrite until this last one (seriously, not being sarcastic). i was just of the “that is so wrong” mindframe before but wasn’t giving up on the site. now that you point out all of that… you are totally right. i see enough suffering and death at work and come to these sights for self-preservation laugh therapy. now i feel like a jerk. i’ll be sticking with the lolcats/dogs. they don’t allow pics of any harm being done.

You guys probably have neighbors who’d make you cry to no end if you knew how they live.

So I ask to everybody who’s disgusted buy this pic: do you spend your day hating the world you live in ?
Or maybe it’s the fact that this picture puts you right in front of it and you have to disagree because it makes you somehow feel better ?

I’m asking without any aggressivity, I just wanna know…

    • dep says:

I’m not disgusted by the pic as much as I’m saddened by it. It is the ultimate fail–the actions of one resulting in the death and injuries of others. But to answer your question, do I spend my dating the world I live in? Yes. Absolutely. The older I get and the more I know, the more I’ve come to despise the human race–and not just the people who commit the large atrocities, but also the people who judge them while committing small atrocities of their own.

      But that’s just me.

  84. GomerPhyls says:

I think the most interesting part of this discussion is that nobody has questioned the integrity of the photographer or the newspapers or the blogs that are profiting off the original photo. There are a couple of people who admit in their comments how they saw the photo in other publications and that’s why they know the context…
So what these commenters are saying is it’s okay to point and gawk, but as soon as you snicker you’re an evil bastard that should be tar and feathered.
I remember when there were editorial boards who wouldn’t print photos like this – I think they called it sensationalism and viewed it as an unethical practice. Now the same publications claw at each other to see who can pay the most so they can cash in on the IRL circulation or internet traffic produced by these images.
FailBlog’s main function is to post user-submitted photos of fail – this happens to be the most highly user-submitted photo in the history of the site’s existence – and everyone is demonizing FailBlog for it?
This site pales in comparison, both by circulation and profit, to the original propagaters of this photo! Where’s the indignation over that?

    • Scott says:

      Quoting:
“So what these commenters are saying is it’s okay to point and gawk, but as soon as you snicker you’re an evil bastard that should be tar and feathered.”

      Essentially, yes.

While it may be sensationalist, widespread publication of this picture in the proper context may actually save lives if it reminds a single person not to drive when drunk or without enough sleep. Pointing and gawking is insensitive to those involved, but in the larger scheme of things it helps people to remember this photo next time they consider driving while drunk. Laughing at it shows that you’ve failed to internalize the lesson that can be learned here and brushed it off as somehow inapplicable to your own life.

At the same time, I have to agree that we can’t demonize Failblog for publishing the most-submitted photo yet. We should instead take a closer look at ourselves.

    • Lars Hilse says:

Although I am still wiping the tears out of my eyes regarding the hiroshima fail etc. I must concur with GomerPhyls.

If you’re blaming someone, blame the photographer. The action journalism is leading to the fact that our perception of what is funny and what is not going down the drain. Our senses are being castrated and sites like rotten.com are really burning down moral.

There is no doubt about this whole situation being tragic. And I must admit that that was my initial thought was the same. Even now I can’t really laugh about the picture. Yet I would not go as far as requesting a removal because humans are, in the end, individuals. As is their individual perception of humor.

The link which has now been added is a good compromise between free media on the internet and a disclaimer stating that what you are going to see may turn out to be touching and can’t be handled by everyone.

But it just so happens that a lot of people who commented here are death-sensitive.

You know, a real schedule so we can all feel good about ourselves for laughing at the RIGHT time? Because life should be sanitized for our protection, and we should NEVER EVER challenge our beliefs or ethics, and we should ALL sit down in a committee like good little comrades and vote on the concrete, absolute rules of humor.

Laugh out loud when your son says he wants a BMX bike for his birthday because you just know one day, maybe, his death at the hands of a irresponsible moron could be the source of humour for empathetically retarded people the world over.

  98. Swiftest says:

Does no one really think about the fact that many of the actions photographed on this site could have resulted in death? All we are seeing is the before picture, not the after. I agree with “InsertNameHere”, why unsubscribe because of one post? On the other hand, if Failblog knew it was going to be controversial (and it is pretty unsettling), why post it in the first place? Just because it was “the most submitted” doesn’t mean it should have been posted. That’s the discretion of the people who run the site, but a little more common sense may be necessary.

    • Bill says:

A lot of it is because we know that someone died. In all the other pics we have the luxury of not knowing.

  99. ML says:

In my opinion this picture is in the right place. There are other pictures of tragic events on this site, the boat that crashes in a bridge and goes on fire afterwards for example. Its the circumstances that makes it funny, considering consequence is not part of the amusement. And even if, laughing isn’t the worst way to deal with tragedy. The anthropological roots of laughing at someone, by the way, are a ritual of excluding and separating an individual from the group. Now that doesn’t seem very nice, does it? Also Freud’s analysis of the “joke” is that it brings out what we really think, but because of social conventions we hide it behind the pretense of humor. So, making fun of someone is never harmless. Its often cruel. Thats the concept of Schadenfreude. But there is no reason why we shouldn’t enjoy it. Moral boundaries for jokes are hypocritical and by itself obsolete.

  106. kk says:

Ok, I bike 15 miles a day to work and back, everyday … through heavy traffic etc. The first thing that came to my mind was “How the HELL did they NOT see a car coming straight at them?”. I often find a difference between “cyclists” and “bike commuters”. Cyclists tend to go where they want, when they want, through stop signs and red lights (I yell at them)… and apparently they also go straight into cars in front of them (FAIL). A bicyclist who is not aware of their surroundings is guaranteed to get into a fatal accident eventually, either by a driver blinded by the sun, playing with their stereo, talking on their cellphone, drunk, etc… or the cyclist will be too busy peddling and go straight off a cliff. Seriously, were these guys blind? This is a tragic FAIL of the greatest magnitude… and this isn’t “murder”, I would confidently assume the driver did NOT intend or plan on hitting them. **Notice in the picture one cyclist pulled to the side of the road, and another was about half way there… Safety FIRST, ALWAYS! Its not worth the damned “medal” in a race if you get KILLED!

    • Keelhaul says:

      Wow 15 miles…That’s cool…say.. btw…where would that route be…you know…the one you take everyday?……I’m uhhh…just curious you know….(heh heh heh…as I weld a spike to the grill of my car) Just kidding.LoL

Too bad the one who died was American!

      • clepunk says:

  111. Mya says:

Aw, all of you with your indignant cries of CENSORSHIP and heh heh it’s fecking funny, man. Look, death!

So adorable how you use your self-loathing for excitement over the tragedies of others. Not at all predictable. Not even a little shocking…which I’m sure will make you cry, what with calling people pansies and heartily guffawing about a drunk driver plowing through a group of humans your FAILED attempt to be edgy and shocking! Look at me, I’m a badass! I’m tough! I’m wacky in that devil may care way! TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT ME!!!!

Whatever. The picture is amazing for composition. It is fully unnecessary to cheer it on as a hilarious piece of art. No one who isn’t madly in loathe with themselves and needing to feel good at the misfortunes of others could be so callous. Sad, really.

I’m not saying take it down. I’m seeing let’s strip breeding rights from those who think it’s pom pom worthy.

  112. lizbiz says:

    • suzywang says:

This is funny. It’s freakin’ hilarious. Darkly so, but it is. Yes, someone died in it. Someone’s mourning. Are we all that someone? Let’s mourn when someone we love dies. Let’s mourn if it was a tragic preventable accident with no potential humorous overtone.

But this is IRL Looney Tunes. It’s funny. And those of you who are crying out “OMFG EVIL” – get a sense of humor. Wal-mart’s selling them for $2.95 US. You can afford that.

  115. Chx says:

I saw this picture before they put the link up, and I’ll admit that I laughed pretty hard. Hearing the story behind it, well, that makes it less funny, and I’ll agree that labeling it ‘Controversal’ is appropriate. But really, people die everyday (even here in America) in horrible ways, worse than this.

As may people pointed out, this site is full of pictures of people getting hurt, or about to. Do you really think everyone walks away from the things shown on this site?

If my opinion mattered I’d say leave it as is (with the link in front of it), yes its sad, but its funny in its own way too.

  116. Anonymous says:

  119. Chris says:

So apparently people seem to think this is insensitive and in bad taste. Why? Because somebody died? Listen up folks. There are so many damn “fail boats” on this blog I skip right past them. Do you think everybody is safe and sound for those? I’m sure many of those are just as tragic as this, but because you don’t actually SEE it it’s ok? Hypocrites! Loosen up. By laughing at the picture you aren’t disrespecting the dead or their families. You are just finding humor in a bad situation. Sometimes laughing at something bad is a means to deal with it.

  120. Emm says:

The photographer who took this horrific picture was wrong to send it to all the news organizations that gladly took and published it (for the sake of sensationalism). But that’s his personal moral failure, which he’ll have to wrestle with himself.

I don’t think Failblog should take this down, because the discussion an interesting exploration into the sort of human being that populates this place.

Those who actually find this hilarious are having an EMPATHY FAIL. You are failing to place yourself in others’ shoes. If your reaction involved only mirth and no sense of the pain or upset of others–and, contrary to what some of the previous posters have said, it doesn’t matter if they are distant to you–then you have damaged or desensitized your ability to empathize.

I don’t that it’s entirely wrong to have this photo here, since there is a MAJOR failure here–that of the drunk driver. While there is somewhat of an “awesome factor” involved in the photo, the caption perhaps is misconstrued–perhaps it should be something like “CARING ABOUT OTHERS FAIL” or “HUMANITY FAIL”. Or just with a more straightforward approach, since people have judged the photo redeemable if it convinces people not to drink and drive…

“DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE. IT HAS CONSEQUENCES. THIS WAS A FAIL.”

….also people were curious because it was labeled “controversial” in the link. “Controversial,” to me (and probably a few other people), implies something that would involve, say, racial epithets or sexual content, for example. It did not imply the loss of human life onscreen. That’s why there’s a labeling failure here too.

    • Anonymous says:

how is the photographer wrong in sending the picture to news organizations? was he wrong for taking the picture? no. was he wrong for sending the picture? no. i am a photojournalist, its our job to show the news. happy or sad. was eddie adams wrong for taking the picture of the viet cong executed in the street? its our job, to communicate what is going on in the world, with the world. i dont see any “maral failure” with the photographer. but i do not think that this should have made it to this blog. i come here to be entertained, and this is no means entertainment.

    • min says:

‘Controversial’ DOES NOT MEAN racial epithets or sexual content. That would be ‘racial epithets’ or ‘sexual content.’ Maybe it would be ‘racial slurs’ or ‘racy’ if you want another word.

‘Controversial’ means ‘creating controversy or dispute.’ i.e. SOME PEOPLE WILL NOT LIKE IT!

I can’t believe all this arguing over a photograph. One of the cool parts about being human is that we are all living under our own ‘perception’ of reality. Whether you LOL’d or were outraged, you felt exactly as YOU were meant to feel about it.

Where we all seem to go wrong is in trying to convince each other that OUR perception is the ONLY correct one. By and large, how necessary is it to argue this point, really? You know you aren’t going to change anybody’s mind, regardless of your grasp of grammar or your feelings of humanity…right?
As for myself, I have my own opinion about the photo, but I’m not going to share it because…NOBODY CARES!

This is exactly the sort of picture I expect to see here.

“Controversial” means something that would upset a lot of people. Methinks the reason some people were underestimating what typ of controversy they were expecting fell victim of the overusage of the word “controversy”, some of which used for something that really isn’t controversial at all.

  132. InsertNameHere says:

  135. ColbyWolf says:

    So….
Why is THIS omgsowrong, yet I can recall several pictures of hurt, injured or dead animals posted here without a warning?

  136. sLm4ever says:

this is funny as hell xD …

and for sure it’s funny more “a kick in the balls” which most Americans find it funny o_O; …

  137. who? says:

I bet TV ratings for cycling would go way up if this happened more often. They should try this in golf too. Ratings gold, I tell you.

  138. Anonymous says:

Show the peeps a bit of the reality of driving and they complain about the fact that it is an ugly pic and should not be shown. WHY NOT? I have to ask. I say remove the controversial tag and show people one of the real consequences of driving.

This is a real fail people. It should be headline news.

  139. Anonymous says:

You should all die, and guess what? You all WILL die. I take endless comfort from this obvious knowledge. IDIOTS.

  140. Nix says:

The fact that you have to resort to using a gender-specific expletive to insult others (i.e., calling them pussies) tells me you probably haven’t and won’t get any in a LONG time. If ever.

  141. Nin-Nin says:

    Funny? Yes.
    Tragic? Absolutely.
FAIL? Is there any room for doubt?

  142. DT says:

Yes this is one of those kind that people who are too stuck up find horribly disturbing or something. The point is, that it is a fail, and while it was tragic, the fact that something so serious is put in this context also makes it a bit funny.
I can already see myself catching hell for this.

  143. Anonymous says:

11 people died in the oil rig fail that is on this blog…I didn’t hear people whining about taking that post down. Stop QQing

  144. DRKS says:

pathetic how you all come here crying for people you maybe don’t know and you will completly forget abaout in a week or maybe less…

  145. Overlooked Teen says:

The adverb irregardless has one meaning:

Meaning #1: (informal) regardless; a combination of irrespective and regardless sometimes used humorously

  146. Dan says:

Hey, does this mean that as long as we put a FAIL label on the pictures, failblog can become the new Ogrish.com?

  147. endolith says:

I came here to laugh, not be depressed. Move this to a site for people who like watching people die. There are plenty.

  148. ghets says:

    youre an idiot.

  149. frostey says:

This is too sad to be in the blog. Whoever submitted this fails at being a non-murderer.

  150. molee says:

i think it’s HILARIOUS because i have a sense of humor, even with situations like this.

does this make me some sort of sick, twisted person?
    probably.

    but i don’t really care.

    lots of lolz from meh!

  151. Karyn says:

Okay, I need to say — I did see the “bad taste” warning, but my experience on the rest of this site led me to believe that it would involve nudity or tackiness. Not death. This was indeed disturbing. I’m not saying it needs to be taken down, but if I’d been making the decision, I wouldn’t have posted this one.

  152. Anonymous says:

So…everyone is pissed off that someone found this picture and added a funny caption and yet NO ONE has said anything about the fact that a photograph was taken in the first place? Wow.

  153. Slopez says:

yea, BS. get your panties out of a wad. noone whined about any of the other tons of FAIL pics where people are getting seriously hurt, or are about to be…

who cares. its funny. macabre, morbid, and wrong, sure. but hilarious.

    and obviously a FAIL.

  154. Daniel says:

This is hilarious. I love how people try to make themselves feel self-righteous by acting like they care about a guy that died that they dont even know. Get real. Of course it would suck if it was your family, but its not, so laugh and move on.

  155. There’s nothing funny about this? Are you sure? This is hilarious. In fact, I live very near where this happened. FAIL Blog seems to me to be pointing out mankind’s ultimate FAIL: living stupidly. Drunk driving is pretty stupid. Killing and injuring people because of your stupidity is a horrible thing. But you know what? It’s also pretty funny. In fact, the sickest thing about all of this is that it IS so funny. It’s not like it’s really funny…what’s funny is that it’s so absurd because of the stupidity of people. People are stupid. Why do you think we invented the Darwin Awards?

  156. simon says:

“it’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt”

the saying goes something like that, shrugs.

but yea, that’s why this photo’s so controversial. it’s fuked up.

we can poke fun at all the stupid things people do that’s caught in film, but there’s a limit to everything.

    • Jeff says:

Says someone who can’t even swear correctly. Man, you people are asking us to cover up this picture when you can’t even cover up your swearing.

  157. Anonymous says:

Having been hit by a car myself – I in NO way find this “funny.” Sure there was that dumb warning, but honestly – that just creates curiosity and everyone is still going to look at it. The warning does nothing. Laughing at something like this is completely immature.

  158. >. says:

Whoever said fails have to be funny to be fails, And was whining about how this should be taken down because someone died, please GTFO. You had the choice to click the link. You did. Now suck it up.

  159. x-stones-x says:

I think…maybe this has gone a bit far. Yeah, it’s controversial, but a guy died. If nobody had died it wouldn’t have been bad. When it said controversal I naively thought it would be injury, not death. Death is not to be mocked.

    • Hart Smith says:

Hey you tool, this average guy is king of the world now that he has so much publicity on the internet!

  160. Anonymous says:

Hilarious cyclist fail. Hope this teaches them to GET OUT OF THE FSCKING ROAD when I’m driving.

  161. Bleh says:

Wow, I dunno what I thought it was going to be but I didn’t see that coming. It was funny until I read someone died. :/

  162. lawlren says:

  168. ur mom says:

eveyone, get over it, stop whining and complaining that its not funny. i was laging so hard and do you know what you lack? The anser is a sense of humor/

  169. flavio says:

    WOW!

    HUGE FAIL!!!!!!!!!!

  170. Sumiko says:

Before anyone says SPELL FAIL at me, I will correct myself. It’s “You’re” a jerk. And that was directed at all you people saying “F you, this is hilarious, have a sense of humor” Well, have a heart.

  171. Bollocks says:

There is no end to the fail, you cannot escape it, it is all around you, FAIL

  172. ur mom says:

Good job on pointing that out!
I think that its HILARIOUS and the people just need a sense of humor

  173. FAILURE says:

    all the whiners fail epically.

  174. Wurkudlak says:

just stop crying about the death of ONE human beeing
    Hitler was one too

but the pic is very funny

  175. Nik says:

Well, it’s still a fail, even if it was a horrible accident. Nothing that you should make a joke over, though.

  176. bob says:

ok the jerk who considers hitler human, get lost. this is not funny.

  177. Hmm... says:

    I learned something from this:
A ramp isn’t always needed to make a bike fly!

I’m also kind of curious: Was he doing the posted speed limit? And did the police also ticket him for changing lanes without using his blinker?

  178. sayray says:

Oh my gosh. I have never seen a picture quite like this. I’m ging to puke. I am absolutally horrified. Please take this photo down. I have very much enjoyed looking at this site, but this is unacceptable. UNACCEPTABLE! Take this pic down!

    • UndertheRadar says:

OH NO!!! Hey everybody, have you heard?! SAYRAY says this is an UNACCEPTABLE picture!! We must take it down RIGHT NOW!!! He says so!!

BTW, Sayray, when you puke, can you take a pic and post it so the rest of us can have a laugh at your epic self-importance fail?

      Ass.

  179. bob d builder says:

i do think this was funny sorry about all your crying but at least one person thinks this is funny, i know it is in bad taste but i some ways you have to admit this was kinda funny.

  180. Kioshi says:

Forget what everyone is saying. This is funny. Yeah, a guy died in it. People die every day. Big deal. No, I loled pretty bad at this, and I don’t regret it one bit. ^^

  181. sueKay says:

    Disgusting.

Have some respect for the poor guy’s family and take it down.

  182. drpantzo says:

    Remove “tour-de-fail” now!

  183. KittehMeow says:

uhm.. youre saying this site fails when its called Failblog?? That my friend is Fail. Youre getting butthurt over a pic hidden? That is Fail. Dont want to see it dont look :3 dont bother hatin cus i dont post here – this is special occasion …heh how crude.

  184. betsy says:

Who said failure=funny? Again, live and learn people.

  185. Entropy says:

its an epic driving fail. a fail is a fail, and this belongs.

  186. holyFAIL! says:

Ok, i’m sorry to say that when i first saw this picture was rolling on the floor. But the thing is that it was sad and tragic and SHOULDN’T be considered funny, but as bad as this is, its still kinda funny

  187. Tim says:

Oh well life goes on. EXCEPT FOR THEM!!! lol

  188. bbb says:

omg, even though the picture is hidden behind a link it should still be taken down. This blog is meant for entertainment, no? So I “fail” to see how a picture of a driving fail can still be funny when someone tragically died. Damn man, it’s alright if someone injures themselves through idiocy, not when that idiocy results in the death or serious injury of others. :-/

  189. bbb says:

    failblog go f— yourself

  190. riccillustration says:

You are on a sight built for laughing at the failures of others, its kind of hard to be too self righteous here. You are an ass just like the rest of us for being on here (failblog) , the only difference is you’re a hypocrite for thinking Now you’re too good to laugh at this image.

Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die.
    Mel Brooks

  191. Dragon says:

I can’t believe you people think this is funny. If you had been one of the cyclists, would you be laughing? While you’re at it, take down the sinking boat ones. Those aren’t funny. I don’t know if they’re fatal, but they’re not funny at all.

  192. girl says:

My dad was killed by a drunk driver and i still laughed at this pic, it’s a good example at how dumb people can be and you don’t have to get so mad about it.

  193. Starr says:

Its not funny when anyone gets hurt. You think this is the ONLY photo/video showing death? Go back and looks at some of the things posted on here…. most of this stuff is horrible bad but yet we still laugh at it. Who are all of you to draw the line at where the laughter starts and stops? Its different for every person. If you are going to be a willing party to any of this take it all. Take it all. And if you cant, get the hell off this blog.

  194. Aidan says:

I agree with the first post, but we should be able lo find a picture funny without letting it affect how we value human life. I mean yeah I feel terrible for the family, I know my family would be devastated if something like that happened to one of us. However, we should all be able to laugh because it looks really funny. Oh and I have my own version of drunk driving rehab: Desert Eagle round through the temple. It’s 100% proven effective! WIN!

  195. hopy says:

    WARNING BAD TASTE COMMENT AHEAD:

If youve even been stuck behind these spandex warriors then id say it was a WIN!
    (unfortunate that one died though)

Notice the Helmet fail in top left?

  196. dik101 says:

    LOL

  197. DCNatsFan says:

Heh, nice pic. Go ahead and leave it up – no matter what you say / do in this life, someone is gonna whinge. Ignore the whiners and do whatever you wish – this pic rocks, and should stay up.

  198. No says:

This thing is HILARIOUS! Yes, people died, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s funny. I guess years of physics insensitivity from video games has change me.

  199. Derek says:

Guy driving car = EPIC DRIVING FAILURE!!!

  200. Ethan says:

    BAWWW fail.

  201. Amadeus238 says:

It may be in REALLY poor taste, but it is still a huge fail if you had no backstory. Hell, it’s a pretty big fail WITH a backstory.

  202. Nobody In Particular says:

    SERIOUSLY?

  203. lol that is just too funny!!

  204. Jeff says:

Not funny at all… Why the hell there is so many stupid guys all over the world ?! 10 wounded, 1 dead ! What is fun in that ? They were all young, all promise to a good future, and now, one is dead and some will live in a wheelchair for the rest of their life.

    The people who laugh fail…

  205. captobvious says:

ok, for 1.) they warned you that it would be bad and crontreversial.
2.) yes someone died, and that is sad, but if you thought it would be a picture of something like you normally see on fail blog you obviously can’t read
3.) maybe by putting it up, you see how the driver did fail- he failed at life and no one should drive drunk or they could kill a bunch of people. it sends a message.

  206. Double Standard says:

I love how this country works. We are governed by a constitution that affords us the right to freedom of speech and freedom of the press, but yet everyone is over sensitive about things they see or hear. Just because you don’t agree with something, doesn’t mean its wrong. Its a picture, nowhere in the caption did it say, hey look at this death, laugh at it. No this is a site dedicated to failure, and this picture is clearly an incident of failure. It is not written as “freedom of speech unless it offends me” so get over yourself. Thats the power you have as a human being, if you see or hear something that you don’t like or agree with, you have the power to walk away, or not listen. So instead of trying to push your tenets on everyone else, just walk away, find another website, I promise there are a lot more. Fail American Public at Large. Fail Hypocrisy. Fail people screaming “intolerance” when they are infact the intolerant individuals. Win Failblog for keeping picture up.

  207. Doug says:

That wasn’t a fail. It looked intentional.

  208. Seth says:

failblog never said it was funny, they just said it was a fail, which it is

  209. anon says:

Thank GOD someone said it! Cyclists are a bane to the roads. If the speed limit is within your pedaling abilities, then ride all you would like, BUT, a pack of 50 @-holes blocking the road for god knows how long is a large moving target.

  210. just me says:

    why no comment

  211. Patone says:

Security measures for the race FAIL.
    Police FAIL.

  212. Stan says:

    EPIC DRIVING FAIL.

  213. A failrar is everyone says:

I’d like to remind everyone present that arguing over the Internet is like participating in the Special Olympics – even if you win, you’re still retarded. (Or in this case, made of fail.)

Now, everybody (pro- and anti-removal) please kindly get your panties/boxers/briefs/etc. out of a bunch and move on with your lives. :)

  214. yuuyo says:

wow, a lot of ppl think that death is such a horrible thing. everyone that lives dies eventually. They just had theirs early. the severe injuries are another subject…

either way, terrible event DX and yes, get on with your overdramatic lives…plz

  215. Jack says:

I’d be happy if people laughed instead of cryed over the picture of my death.

  216. Marissa says:

My heart just hit the bottom of my stomach when I saw that. Oh my God.

  217. Izzy says:

damn, article page not found. I wanted to know if that guy was drunk or what.

  218. chez says:

    Tour de jail. (hopefully)

  219. Javier says:

What if the post was about de attack of the twin towers? Obviously it’s not funny. This isn’t also; still I believe that I can think like this and want to keep reading the posts; why I should leave it? I think the ones who think it’s funny had a bad sense of humor, that’s all.

  220. Mr. Compassion says:

    S-t-t-e-e-e-r-r-r-i-i-i-i-k-k-k-k-e!!!

  221. YOYOMAN says:

U guys deserve to die if u laugh at this, even when i know nothing about this accident it is obvious it was a serious accident.

  222. ?????????? says:

  223. Ellen says:

    Greatf stuff. failblog.org is killer.

  224. rasicar says:

    Too soon?

  225. Pope John XVI says:

    ASS CAKE!

  226. david says:

Hahaha…I don’t know who failed worse, the guy driving the car or the group of cyclist getting hit by the car. Wait, this must be one of the rarest kind of fails. The wonderful, the awesome, the amazing, THE DOUBLE FAIL!!!! Oh and Javier’s got a good point. Why are there no 9/11 fails? I mean how are some big ass planes, taken way off course and then forced to crash into two giant towers, which fall like a house of cards 45 mins later? I mean that’s gotta be in the top 10 fails of all time, right?
