yeah the fail there isn’t the fact that the bicycle is in motorcycle parking, but rather than it is nowhere near enough secure.

mm looks like there’s a kryptonite lock from the wheel to the frame. someone could just pick it up and carry it away, but would need some heavy duty chain cutter/blow torch to break it.

I say the bicyclist gets a Win for this.
The only thing that would up the awesome would be to replace the scooters and dirt bikes with serious baby-eating Harleys.
That would elevate the bicyclist into the heavens of Permanent Win.
Look closely at the bike. It is a key entry motorbike, its a friggin moped.

I think the “fail” is that somebody parked a bike without locking it just because other “bikes” were parked there.
You guys are the fail!, i live in a place where you can park your bike anywhere and it won’t be stolen.
FIRST!
First of all, the other vehicles are mopeds, not MC gang motorcycles, so I don’t think any bikers will be pissed and smash the bicycle. It’s a regular parking space and it seems to be for two-wheelers at that, so why wouldn’t it park there? :S Secondly, how do you know it’s not locked? :S A bike doesn’t need a huge, fat chain to be locked. You must live in a pretty sad place, if a bicycle can’t avoid being stolen if it isn’t bolted to the ground.
I guess I live in a sad place then. My 9 year old’s bike was stolen last Christmas Eve. Just so happened we were getting her a new one for Xmas anyway. That one got stolen 5-6 months later. Both times the bike was in our back yard. My bike was also stolen from some her friend’s backyard after my darling daughter told him he could ride it home. It’s called living in a big city in the U.S. lol

I was living in Stuttgart for quiet a while and I kind of get the joke. There’s not that much parking space in Stuttgart and when people are from Stuttgart and see that, they could think it is fun.
On the other hand is the picture just a good example for how boring life in Stuttgart is. I mean this picture had to be a highlight for someone - why should he have put it on the internet otherwise?

I don’t get it, I mean even the bike is technically a moped it has a small engine on it. not very secure but bikes never are… even those scooters some are only 100LBS or so…
If you need an arrow to clarify the fail, it isn’t good enough.
