Players usually wear soccer or football cleats when playing. This, presumably, is moments after an unsuccessful ‘layout’, where a player dives to reach a disk that’s just out of reach.

I think she probably tripped (at least partially) - you’re supposed to land on your chest when you layout - not your face - even if you do get the disc.
Maybe she just fethed-up. Sometimes you plan things and tehn do them slightly wrong, and everything goes wrong. You must have done the same thing at some point…
No, she’s not playing “soccer”, she’s playing Ultimate (as has long since been established) - she just laid out and missed. Happens all the time - eg this is my mate at our last tournament:
