Well said, i may not be American, but i don’t hate them. Their actions are majorly based on their politicians and everyone arguing how bad the US is. Look at the decisions made by your government. In Canada our government fails at doing anything, yet i still love my country. So show respect to other peoples nationalities. And i bet every country has people in it that would do exactly the same thing given the opportunity so don’t say its an American thing to do

That is an American Marine. What he’s wearing is called a flight suit under his body armor. I had 3. wore them all the time over there when my camys were too filthy to wear.

As for the joke.. who cares? its a harmless prank. people do that stuff to eachother all the time all over the world. Besides, even if the picture were real – try to have a little humility before you judge others. The bad guys didn’t wear uniforms over there. Do you know what that means? We dont shoot till one of us gets shot. We need positive identification before we can pull the trigger. Try living with that kind of pressure day in and day out for months on end. We’re not blood thirsty retarded apes. We are ordinary people living in exraordinary situations.

anyways I’m not one of those vets that says you should love and respect all of us. All i ask is that you dont judge what you know nothing about. we’re regular people just like you. If you dont like the job we do – call your senators. It’s the government that controls us. The US military didn’t invade Iraq – the Politicians did.

Ofcourse they do. Capitalism rules. People want profit, McDonald’s sells. I don’t like the US, but I have no greater love for the people in “my” country supporting “your” silly brands. I NEVER eat at McDonald’s, nor do I listen to pop-music, but sadly, many in Europe do, and those are NO BETTER than the US that “we” dislike. So we should hate them equally. I don’t dislike people becuase they are American (from the US), but sadly, the majority of people there seems to be of a…”bad” kind. You have no idea how franchising works, do you. Citizens in Europe or Asia build/rent/purchase a building, then they get permission from McDonalds’ corprate offices to use the brandname as long as they purchase supplies from McDonalds and run the restaurant according to McDonalds’ rules.
