  1. nubz says:

first! hurhur hmmm maybe the volkswagon is stolen and hence the license “board”

  2. Fuzioon says:

    WM –> Wolsvagen ?

  3. yeah says:

Umm, that’s not a Volkswagen. And it says WV, not VW. Probably meaning West Virginia?

I’m guessing it’s a Buick. Or some sort of GM car.

  4. RP says:

    I hope it’s a cop.

  5. Keelhaul says:

Chrysler Le Baron……With “spinner” hubcaps and big flame stickers down the side and a giant back window sticker that says…”Martinez” in gothic script

  6. Keelhaul says:

Period at the end of sentence Fail.=Me

  7. geo says:

It’s either a Chrysler LeBaron or a Dodge Acclaim. With a bit more time it would be possible to figure out exactly which model it is.

    http://www.robbinsautotopco.com/lebaron87.jpg

  8. Bodero says:

Keelhaul has it right… my first vehicle, a 1988 LeBaron Convertable.

    • RenaissanceGrrl says:

Sadly, I’ve driven a 1990 LeBaron convertible for over three years now and couldn’t place it. Car ownership fail.

  9. joel says:

looks like a cop car to me – classic Crown Vic rear end

  10. Around here, those things are usually seen on Chevy or Ford pickup trucks. However, the lack of a tow hitch makes me doubt my first guess. Maybe the driver removed the ball from his tow hitch?

If the tag number was a custom tag, then I would concur it might be a ghetto hoopty.

  11. It’s got to be a West Virginia “plate”. Where else in the Union would someone take a pizza box cover and scribble their license plate number on it hoping for validation?

    Cartoons here: http://spinachflame.wordpress.com/

  12. George Costanza says:

Jon Voight owned this car, I swear! Look at this pencil!

  13. Insanus says:

This is a snowboard skate. Fo’ sure! :O

  14. Insanus says:

    Snowboard Skate = Epic Phail
    Snowboard Board = Win

  15. Insanus says:

    Snowboard = Phai00rz
    Snowboard ? = Epic Phail00rz

  16. Insanus says:

    Phai00rz = Failure
    Me = Nature Fail

  17. sim says:

1989 Buick Century. I know cos i have one.

  18. Al Polk says:

As the proud owner of a white ‘95 Plymouth Acclaim (her name is Lorraine, The Plain Acclaim), the car in the photo has to be either a Dodge Spirit or a Chrysler LeBaron of similar vintage. BTW, my Acclaim is a tank, solid as a rock, and gets almost 30 mpg.

  19. john says:

going to go with a late 80’s early 90’s chevy lumina

  20. Jason says:

Dodge or Chrysler Dynasty for sure!!

  21. Sofar says:

    It’s clearly a 1938 Graham-Paige.

The man couldn’t even find a scrap of wood and some paint, it had to be sharpie on a piece of cardboard.

  22. MarkFL says:

Madrugada: I hate to admit this, but the answer to your question is Florida. I see these way too often — although usually with better handwriting.

  23. Hahaha says:

    Test…

  24. Sascha says:

The stupid thing i ever see

  25. rainbodragon says:

    wv=west virginia
    failblog FAIL

  26. That one is simply hsyterical

  27. Billco says:

Call me crazy, but I’d guess a 92 Pontiac Sunfire.

  28. JoJO says:

    Dodge Dynasty.

  29. It’s Dark’s Chevy Pickup, probably an S-10

  30. Brian says:

    Dodge Dynasty

  31. Sydnee says:

fisrt off, why do we care what kind of car it is? thats totally pointless.

second, how do you lose you tag anyway? arent they screwed in or something? would someone rally steal car plates? if so, thats a whole new level of lame.

  32. js says:

That is not at ALL an uncommon sight in wide wonderful West Virginia.

  33. afcbasser says:

    Where’s your LeBaron Freddy?

  34. Matt says:

How I love being from WILD (yes, genius two spots above me) and wonderful West Virginia.

  35. Celeste says:

Actually, my uncle has stolen license plates in the past. His cars we’re never registered, so he thought that stealing plates off our farm trucks was a great plan.

Also, I’m from NC, not WV. and it’s got to be better than the states where I’ve seen cars not displaying any plates for whatever reason. Probably that damn temporary paper one came off.

  36. Jonathan says:

    Dodge Dynasty FTW.

  37. Jeremiah says:

this makes me proud to live in west virginia

  38. Mana says:

West Virginia native has to say WV still owns Ga. *Hides from the Dawgs* hehehe

  39. sigh those west Virginians I know a lot of them =D

  40. RT Pro-America says:

That’s easy it’s a Honda Civic! Like around 80s sedan version.

  41. Doug says:

It looks like a Nissan Maxima.

  42. Doug says:

On second thought, it is a Dodge Dynasty. (1st comment = FAIL)

  43. Wedigar says:

More chance of it being a Spirit than an Acclaim, you can see part of a light above the plate, Acclaim’s don’t have that there.

  44. Viper15 says:

First of all, it is West Virginia. Second, WV is not the only state that has people make tags to replace the lost ones until the replacement ones come in the mail. Third, I believe that it is a Dodge vehicle.
