I think that the acid rumour is true. those cops are really scared of something. and even if the acid is mild, i wouldn`t wan`t it to my face, or anywhere. and in europe (where im from too, someone perhaps noticed it allready from my writing), governments dont tell lies, or spread rumours like in america. or if (when) they do that, they are quickly exposed, and forced to take the responsability.

It is also a fact that the police masqueraded as civilists and tried to encourage people to throw stones. This was in official news and you should still find the videos on youtube.
The police also arrested protesters arbitrarily and put them into metal wire cages, denied them talking to a lawyer, denied them a phone call. These were human rights violations and the police got away with it.

Frankly, I don´t believe you. I have many friends who have been there and i´ve read and seen hours and hours of reports about the german G8 protests. All major networks reported that the intial reports about harmful liquids spread by police spokesmen turned out to be untrue. Also, filling harmful stuff into the pistols is an absurd idea. Actually it was a lamp shaped like a leg. I think it was Italian or something because the big wooden crate had a huge stamp from the town of Fragile.

let me tell you sth: i HAD BEEN there (@heiligendamm) and i met these “clowns” and – really – there was citric acid in some of their water guns. only in some but i can fully understand this reaction. getting citric acid in the eyes is not what i want.
Frankly, I don´t believe you. I have many friends who have been there and i´ve read and seen hours and hours of reports about the german G8 protests. All major networks reported that the intial reports about harmful liquids spread by police spokesmen turned out to be untrue. Also, filling harmful stuff into the pistols is an absurd idea. The whole idea of the clowns army is to mock the military-style appearance of the police by behaving funny and abolutely peaceful. They are hippies alright!!
