The acid thing was a rumour. According to official reports, the water guns were filled with soap. Of course the tabloids made acid out of it.

There was never any acid in those water pistols. This was a deliberate lie spread by the police leadership. It wasn’t the tabloids who created these rumours. In Heiligendamm in 2007 the German police violated the human rights of many friendly protesters who weren’t looking for violence in the least. Especially the police units from Berlin resorted to brutal violence. As of 2007 I definitely know that even the German police is just scum. They’re no better than hooligans or the average criminal. The only difference is that they’re in another team.
