Some cats have huge ass feet…
looks like a Manx to me - short heavy body, large boning, don’t see a tail. Poor cat! Looks like something my kids would offer to our curious cats.
I thought the same. The body in general and especially the way the toes are spread looks like a cat’s, and any similarities to a rabbit could be explained by the Manx lack of a tail. Also, this is exactly something a cat would do. Stick its nose where it doesn’t belong, then recoil when something unexpected happens.

That is not a rabit. It is a cat without a tail (they don’t have teil naturally). These cats have very long back legs, so they may look like rabbits even when walking-jumping around.
