It was near Nagaoka Station in Niigata Prefecture in Japan. It happened during the Chuetsu Earthquake.

This is NOT a fail — it is a grand success! This sucker was doing over150kp when the earthquake struck. It jumped the track but stayed upright and skid to a stop. No injuries!

To my surprise, no one was injured in such accident.
