There was probably a tube somewhere in the lake that sucks up the water and connects to the fountain. This fish got sucked up on accident but got caught on the way out.

Why is it someone’s always saying “photoshopped”? Fish can indeed get sucked into the fountain pump. They’re biological instincts usually prevent it from happening, but every once in a while there’s one that get’s too close accidentally. It’s not like they are extremely intelligent creatures.

it was a small request. Yes, i can download each picture, re-host them, and yadda yadda. However, i was able to do without that up until recently, when all the pictures started being dynamic.
If there is a specific reason, such as security, then i understand.

If you post the image through a url from THIS SITE then it\’s linking and your sucking the bandwidth dry.
People hot-linking images like that can cost the hosting provider thousands of dollars in exceeded bandwidth which they lovingly pass on to the website owner.
Ex:

Not if there’s enough room on either side of the fish for it to get by. The pressure could very well be high enough to keep it coming straight out. But then, it makes you wonder how the fish itself isn’t pushed out…

Haha, not photoshop, I’ve seen it happen twice. I nolonger keep fish in teh fountain. The fish is dead at this point tis why the water isn’t everywhere, fish no move water move around it. Sad but okay.

This is not photoshopped and the fish did not get sucked up by the pump. This poor little fishy just tried to escape its boring little puddle up the waterfall from whence all the water comes, unable to realise it’s actually a fountain. Makes me sad to watch as this fish was merely trying to break out of its man-made prison.
