    Getting down to what now?

  2. orj6 says:

These boats jokes are not funny…

  3. Nate says:

I love the boat jokes, keep’em coming. “Getting down to Business”

  4. Cam says:

I sink they better send out a Mayday

  5. Vincent says:

A typical case of misinterpretation. This isn’t a fail, it’s a win. The boat isn’t going down, it’s going up :)

  6. illbixby says:

    Exactly, it’s a submarine boat.

  7. dweetir says:

    funny pictures, thanks

  8. Hope they have a lifeboat.

  9. Gregor says:

The Pendleton… it sank off of Chatham, MA – my home town – in 1952, and was perhaps the Coast Guards’ finest hours… Amazing story, really.

  10. joederbes says:

This reminds me of the America’s Cup several years ago where the New Zealand boat broke up and sank. “So where did you finish?” “Near the bottom.”

  11. douche says:

That did NOT happen in 1952, you moron. Cameras WERE NOT INVENTED YET.

    Gregor, you are a jackass.

    • spot3282 says:

You sir are the jackass. The camera has been around for a good bit longer than 1952. In fact the first permanent photograph was made in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce according to Wikipedia. Maybe you though Gregor wrote 1852 but either way looks like you need to book a trip on the good ship Failboat yourself.

    • LittleHolocaust says:

      Lol history fail.

  12. Cassidy says:

Good luck to anyone there . . .

  13. anon says:

just my opinion, there’ve been better failboat pictures than this one.

  14. Nate says:

Hey Gregor post a link to the story if there is one.

  15. persifler says:

Isnt that off the new trailer for the next installment of POC? Kinda looks like Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp there in the wheelhouse. Seems some slick talking used ship salesman talked Will Turner into trading the Flying Dutchman for this wreck. He had been on a bender for the past couple of centuries since his last shore leave with an 89 year old Elizabeth. Now he is out to take his revenge on Sparrow for not giving Elizabeth the only dram of water Sparrow brought back from the Fountain of Youth….

  16. cregan says:

Yay, I do love the ongoing adventures of FailBoat

  17. failboateatingmonste says:

    MORE FAILBOAT!!!

  18. Schtoink says:

We don’t need boats in Texas.

  19. Aoumd says:

Well, this week is the 96th anniversary of the sinking of the one and only ship that could be given the category “EPIC FAILBOAT”…

  20. hectordejesus says:

    poseidon remake

  21. Gregor says:

Hey Nate, and anyone interested in learning more about the Pendleton: here’s a pretty good unfurling of the event, from the Coast Guard…

  22. KingSize says:

douche, you’re the moron here. How do you think they got footage of the 2nd world war? Really good painters? Geez >_>

  23. mohd222 says:

  25. M says:

Yeah douche, they had cameras as far back as the 1800s. Get an education… Retard.

  26. dweetir says:

    Failboat…hahahah

    http://www.dweetir.com

  27. Anonymous says:

    That’s the Titanic.

  28. Gregor says:

actually, the first ‘camera’, or Camera Obscura was designed in the 1660’s. The first ‘photograph’ recorded in 1826 or so…

So, Douche, ‘M’ is correct when suggesting you educate yourself. You do realize that 1952 was AFTER 1826, yes?

When did you think camera’s were invented? Just curious here.

  29. douche_hater says:

yeah douche you bloody moron… granted nobody cares about the first camera invented but come on… moving pictures were around before the 2nd world war come on you dumbarse

  30. Anonymous says:

your all wrong cameras were invented by Charles werthington in the summer of 1987. Get an education idiots!

  34. Dark says:

    And failboat rules. No exceptions.

  35. j0sh says:

    haha…its practicing to be a submarine…

    and to #40….seriously? 1987? 21 years ago?

  36. Tyler says:

Well, I kinda thought it was funny………..

  37. solo piano says:

it’s not sinking, that’s just an illusion, no?
