    Some of the new vending machines have this mechanism in the bottom now that if nothing drops it just keeps spinning things out. At least that is how the ones at my university are.

      That actually seems to be the type of machine that keeps spewing snacks when it doesn’t detect anything.

    I’m guessing it’s not in a med school… Endoscopic ‘grabbers’ are great for just these kinds of situations :)

    This is why vending machines end up getting kicked in :P

    that happened to me the other day with peanut m&ms, but it returned my money and then i got two bags for the price of one.

    I had this happen once, and a friend of mine came and kicked the machine for me.
    My chips came down and then… the door swung open………
    What a day that was!

    This happens a lot at my school. Sometimes we get 2 or 3 extra when we only pay for one, and sometimes they get jammed like that. And then we get 5!
