      fu…

    • The True Patriot says:

Not photoshop, they probebly oppened the top of the bag, put the frog in, and tilted it so you couldn’t see the hole.

    • Anonymous says:

It’s not photoshopped because you can see the water droplets on the top if you look closely, and it wasn’t put in there, because the bag is still sealed…

Unless they resealed with one of those bag sealers.

And you can tell it’s still sealed because if you take a bag of chips, and squeeze one end, the air goes to the other, and thats exactly what the bag is doing. Attention to detail my fine feathered friends.

      • Anonymous says:

dumbass. you underestimate photoshop and what people can do with it.
the bag can easily be seen as still sealed and inflated with a certain angle or a trick in holding it.
Not so attentive to detail as you think, my fine cocky friend.

I call this as a fake. There’s no way a frog can live in a sealed bag unless it was sealed in the past hour or so. And the picture’s taken in a kitchen, not a store… how would it survive the trip? No way.
        Fail.

        • Anonymous says:

Who says the damn thing is alive?

          • Anonymous says:

I actually remember this picture come out maybe a couple years ago (I think on yonkis dot com, spanish web site). A video came along the picture, so it is surely not photoshopped.

That is a spanish brand that sells salads (the one in the pic is “canonigos”, basically some vegetable without any extras). All their salads are supposed to be very fresh, maybe they get in no more than 2-3 days from the field to the end customer. They are washed (sometimes it is still wet when you get it), and I am not 100% sure but I would say that their bags are sealed (no holes), no clue on how long a frog could breath inside one.

I do kinda remember that on the video the guy would put the bag underwater to show it had no holes/there was no air coming out, and that he opened the bag in front of the camera, but it’s been a long time…

I will not go over if the frog was put in there by the guy who did the video/pics, but the frog was surely alive and moving.

            • Anonymous says:

Oh, I sais spanish brand. Not so sure about that, it is FLORETTE which doesn’t sound so spanish, but you can find it in all supermarkets over here.

              • Tom says:

                Florette is a french brand ;) .
And yes you’re right when you say that the product is fresh.

                • Albert says:

Nope. Florette is a Spanish brand for sure. I live in Spain and used to eat Florette brand salads unti lthis….. The “canonigo” is a kind of small lettuce.

            • Matt says:

If the bag gets to you 2 or 3 days after it’s been packaged, than yes, a frog could survive alone inside of one. Also, since they wet it before they package it, a frog could very well survive, as frogs need water to live. It’s not entirely impossible.

              • Doeyedimples says:

                Not imposable just highly improbable

                • hi says:

I work in a supermarket in Australia and I can personally
vouch for seeing this exact thing happen in one of our
salad bags. I’ve also seen two live frogs on separate
occasions coming out of banana boxes and heard of another
occasion when this has happened. (altho you could argue
the difference that banana boxes aren’t sealed)

          • jjjj says:

            lmao yah

        • Could be real says:

you guys aren’t realizing that the bag of salad if from a latin american country, so its possible a frog got in there, their production regulations arent as strict as ours

        • Cookie says:

what if the vegetable photosynthesize and produce O2 for the frog?

      • Micheal says:

Produce bags have to breath. Otherwise the contents would wilt faster. Take a closer look at a pre-packaged lettuce bag.

      • mark says:

u can photoshop water droplets dufus

    • daisy says:

If you look at the bag I don’t think it was packaged here in the states. Could it be that it was packaged elsewhere and shipped here maybe???? ORRRR even that the picture was taken elsewhere and posted…

    • lilace! says:

this is pretty real. what happens is the water they use to wash the salad sometimes contains tadpoles. because the salad is still wet the tadpole is able to survive even off a small amount of water. shortly afterwards it matures into a frog.

      i shit you not. =]

    • Reload says:

Lmfao, still a nice one xD

  3. Anonymous says:

Not photoshop he puts the frog in… :)

  4. maceelaine says:

That means the salad is fresh, yes?

  5. unicorn says:

    photoshoop.

i think this was a photoshop phriday on SomethingAwful.com

i could be mistaken, but this looks too familiar and as soon as i saw it, the first thing that came to my mind as a sort of memory was “PHOTOSHOOOOP”

  6. sufferpuppet says:

Why do people still feel the need to scream Photoshop every time a picture appears online? If something is funny nobody gives a rats ass if it was Photoshopped.

That’s like complaining that the women in Playboy have been airbrushed. Nobody Cares!

  7. Marquizzo says:

Yeah, one day I saw a chick trip onto her face, and the first thing that came to my mind was “Photoshop!!” It had to have been… It was too good to be true.

  12. Anonymous says:

Huh? This is just French salad with fresh frog legs. There should be some delicious snails in there as well. You cretons!

  13. Yvonne says:

    Yummy.

  14. Maybe that’s how I got e coli from my spinach.

  15. Brad Hodges says:

Maybe that’s how I got e coli from my spinach.

  16. j00sh says:

Fail on the frog for not bringing his friends to share the salad.

  17. Oliver says:

    I think I saw this on worth1000, but it’s still a fail nonetheless ;)

  18. jemmeljan says:

Wonder how he got the salat in there……That’s what’s been photoshopped !!!!! :-) )

  19. Jane says:

I think the fact that it’s supposedly washed is the funniest part

  20. Jane says:

I think the fact that it is supposedly washed is the funniest part!

  21. Bell says:

From time to time I find snails and slugs in my “pre-washed” salad bags… I don’t buy them anymore… make your own! The frog’s a bit much though!

  22. John Jude Farragut says:

    *Laughs in pure astonishment*

  23. Jake says:

R u an idiot, its not photoshoped, he just opend it and put the frog in there

  24. Jay says:

Lame. They either cut a small hole in the back of the bag and jammed their pet frog into the bag or PhotoShoooop. No frog could survive in a bag after it was sealed — takes three days those things to get on the shelves.

  25. May I remind the autor that the beaty of Fail photos is that they are spontaneuos, not intentional, not a lie…

  26. Charade says:

Not saying this is or isn’t photoshopped, but frogs and lizards have been known to survive much harsher conditions for much longer. They’re found frogs encased in ice (still alive), in rock, coal, and several other things. A salad with plants that would give the thing it’s own air supply is completely feasible.

  27. ksilem says:

now that sure is fresh :p

  28. jeh says:

    haha how’d he survive..

  29. Anonymous says:

“Now with a free prize inside every bag!”

  30. Anonymous says:

I worked in a grocery store, and we actually found animals (dead and alive) in the produce all the time.

    • Anonymous says:

what I was just about to say. I’ve seen a frog once about 5 years ago. Co worker wound up setting it free and bringing it home xD

    • Phytonym says:

      Haha…
We have a bird flying around our store now…
Apparently he eats in the produce at night, hangs around the bakery for a while in the morning, than goes to go bug the produce guys…
Although he’s not as annoying as the new phone system….

  31. Worth says:

This is a Worth1000 photoshop entry. It was very good

  32. EUGENE says:

WHEN I WAS BUT A WEE TAD-POLE THE WATER WHERE I LIVED WAS USED TO WASH SOME SPINACH, I WAS SCOOPED UP AND WENT ON THE GREATEST ADVENTURE A FROG COULD HAVE. I GREW UP ON THE SHELVES OF A SMALL STORE MILES AWAY FROM MY FAMILY AND THE PUDDLE I CALLED HOME. NOW I KNOW I WILL NEVER SEE HOME AGAIN FOR I FEEL THAT SOON I WILL CROAK.

  33. Bije says:

    Nom nom nom…

  34. Jo says:

We definitely get frogs in our spinach at my fruit shop…not sure about one that big though

  35. Eco says:

Somebody said this before, but this photo is from Spain and there was a full website about it, with lost of pictures and videos. The guy put the website up to protest because he thought it was incredible. He said he went to the supermarket to protest and they offered to exchange the frog salad bad for an un-frogged one, no apologies or anything. On the guestbook someone said that they worked on the factory where the veggies were bagged and that it wasn’t imposible for a frog that size to have been left out by the cleaning process. More people have found asmall animals in their bags of ultra.fresh salad. It’s not photoshopped and if someone sent it to worth1000 then they are cheaters.

  36. Olentzero says:

Well, if we took the bones out, it wouldn’t be crunchy, would it?

  37. pink says:

this is from worth1000.com under the banner of lazy tampering efforts…….

and it’s not even one of the better ones………..

  38. bob says:

if that is real, that is made of pure win.

  39. Hauntzor says:

I’d have to say it’s fake; a frog would’ve suffocated in an air-tight bag

  40. Kelsey says:

what’s funny is that in spanish the bag says “fresh” and “clean”.

  41. Jedd says:

This actually happened to me as a kid … there was a dead frog in the iceberg lettuce. Now I cringe every time I deal with lettuce … no joke.

  42. jamie says:

haha iv acctualy had this happen before too. like opened the bag and a frog fell out it was so funny

  43. Dezso Simon says:

    Ain’t vegetarian anymore!

  44. Black Feather says:

Toy giveaways!!! They are not just for cereal boxes anymore!!!

  45. Antoko says:

Ok, old news I know, but I was looking at the picture and ffs with all people can do with photoshop I don’t know if it’s real or not. Scientifically speaking it is plausible. The amount of air that frog would need to survive would easily be made up by the leaves for a few days. Plants do continue to “breathe” even after the leaves are separated from the main structure. If it’s a photoshop good job. If it’s real Florette-Fail Frog-Win!

  46. Catti says:

Everyone knows how to reseal bags. Just make a neat cut with scissors, then grab a lighter and melt the egdes back together. I do it with chip bags all the time. Also, if you notice, one end of the bag can’t be seen well by the camera. So I think it is staged, but funny as hell none the less xD

  47. Dan says:

    Immigration WIN for frog.

  48. Marius says:

    I HAvE A BLOG CALLED badlywashedsalad.blogspot.com

about coincidences and other crazy stuff

    check it out!

    Salada Mal Lavada

  49. bre says:

    frogs are nutritious too…

  50. SymzTew says:

    It’s definitely fresh.
Maybe not so ready to eat.

    better wash that. :P

  51. Liesiejjj says:

It’s real dudes! I had that too once o_______O
