hmm not a fail on any part. the worker is just making sure he doesn’t destroy the fragile ecosystem that could be under or around that tree. dont you know that millions of bugs and animals are affected if that tree is moved. it could destroy the earth moving that tree could cause a reaction to have an animal have to go to another area to find a food source because the ones it ate are dead now because the worker moved the tree and killed its original source… you know where im going with this… fail to me for staying up so late when i have to work soon.
BFD, it was either go around or bash the sprayhead. That could be scraped back off and fixed in 2 minutes. Priorities win: Save the expensive equipment.
BTW, this is also a fairly common tactic of the tree-huggers. They plant something like that when the roads are being worked on, and time it so it can’t be avoided, as in, after the cleanup crew goes by to remove all that kind of crap. This way, you have the road crew looking like idiots, and they can use that to strengthen their position. I had a G/F that was an environmentalist, and had several “handbooks” regarding tactics like this.
Funny thing is, most of them really aren’t there for the environment, they just want the world to themselves: They don’t want motorcycless in the woods, just bicycles, and only use environmental issues to get their way. All in all, they’re just as big of slobs as anyone else, probably more so. I personally caught some “environmentalists” dumping trash in an area where a bunch of snowmobilers had been, to help then get the area closed to snowmobilers, only open to cross-country skiiers and dogsledders. Lame.
Um… in case you didn’t notice, they could have picked up the branch, it looks like it only ways 20 pounds or so. Unless of course the Road Crew consists entirely of paraplegics, but they still could of kicked it out of the way.
A similar thing happened where I lived in Vancouver, WA, only they painted over a DEAD CROW. I called the city and the person on the phone sounded as appauled and surprised as I was. Within a day or two someone came out and removed the dead crow.
Very funny pick, it would have been just as easy to kick the tree limb out of the way too.
@ Leper: There is a Vancouver, WA AND a Vancouver, BC. The one in Washington was first but not too long after it was settled a bunch of residents from Vancouver, WA moved to Canada and called their new settlement by the same name.
ROFL! I live in Van,Wa too! And duh people…there is more than 1 Vancouver. Just like there is more than one Washington, more than one Portland, etc. Truth be told, there is a repetition for just about every city in America. Be it in America or in some other place.
P.S. I fail! First of all, I didn’t get a picture, but that was years ago before I had a camera phone. I also fail for not remembering to say in my first comment that I wish I’d taken a picture of it.
LOL I’d have done the same
Yay for PHAIL
<3
you suck
No she doesn’t!
How much?
rofl win comeback^^
Laziness is a bliss, ain’t it?
Yep this is something I’d do
This one goes out to all the road departments in the US. You all fail.
You’re an idiot, 1. for thinking you’re better than anyone else and 2. for assuming it’s in the US. So you fail, my friend.
Give him a break. He’s obviously trying (and failing) to be in the “burn of the week.”
Your only saying that because you want to be in the burn of the week >.<
@imaG
Sentence FAIL!
He also forgot the perspective correction on the “FAIL”. What a lamer.
Another winner in the “That’s not my problem” category.
That, my friends, it’s in Portugal.
That’s hysterical!

AHAHA portuguese image
Great blog, keep on!
That’s not in Portugal, it’s in Fort Polk, Louisianna. I know where it is.
It’s not fail at all! It shows respect towards nature. Let’s fight CO2 together! Trees 4tw!
in fact collecting dead tree is good for nature
in fact collecting dead trees (instead of cutting down other ones) is a good way to fight deforestation
in case you’d didnt understand
He’s so lazy.. lol couldn’t even move the tree..
http://www.jalilweb.com
I LOLed!
I think I farted.
Shart,I FAIL!!

Right… and building the road did nothing to the enviornment. And the food source… Roadkill will feed animals for days.
… they did that on our road, too.

You FAIL because of Vancouver is in Canada not Washington I think you just made that up and it didnt happen…
I think there is a Vancouver in Washington
Very funny pick, it would have been just as easy to kick the tree limb out of the way too.

that’s my main concern…
AE

Lol, this one never fails to make me laugh, some real lazy people out there!
…i did it
I want to shake the worker’s hand
Discussion Fail.
Who. Really. Cares.
Its funny, and you know it

Just too lazy to move the branch
