    I’d say this is about on par with my school putting unbreakable glass in front of all the fire alarms to stop all the fake alarms that were started.

    This is the inevitable response to fackwads stealing things like fire extinguishers…

    Since they sell new for usually 60-200AUD* (AU$30+ on ebay) depending on size and type, you can understand why loser crackheads would nick them and hock them. Maybe the tradeoff is having one attached to an alarm so if you take it an alarm sounds (which would be a good thing in a fire anyway).

    *When I just tried converting from AUD on http://www.calculator.com (currency section), it gave me NaN, 0 or Infinity! Calculator.com exchange rate fail!

    Actually these are used in the jail i work at for any type of personal items that workers in an area might have, or particularly dangerous items from an office like scissors, extra power cables, unused pens and pencils.

    Actually the way this looks i wouldnt be suprised if i find this one day looking for equipment.
