that’s what you get for being lazy – use a winch with cable at least as long as the trees are tall (think about it).

That’s not the butt end of the tree. This picture was taken after the lower end of the trunk was cut off. You can see it in the foreground. It’s rolled a bit to the left side.

I didn’t even notice the freakin truck, first thing i saw was this guy getting nailed in the crotch T_T

(Bad joke, i know, but you can`t help but notice what seems to be a small log sticking out from between his legs, lol!)
This is some time after the FAIL – trees don’t come down with a flat butt like that, you only get that with the cuts you make after it’s down, and the *big* chainsaw that made that cut is sitting on top of the tree trunk. Usually that means cutting up the tree on the ground, but either it came down on it’s own, or the tree cutter badly misjudged the wind and the lean…
Now he’s cutting up a branch that was across the truck bed and getting in the way of further cuts on the tree trunk. He wants to support the branch a bit (so it doesn’t bind up the chainsaw or fall on his toes), and since you should keep both hands on the chainsaw, he’s using his legs. Awkward, but he isn’t going to be rolling that tree around for a better position!
